We had two 4 row John Deere planters, some As, Gs, and a 1950 Oliver Detroit Diesel front drive assist for about 1400 acres. We had about 600 acres of corn. We raised white winter wheat, oates, rye, few white beans, and alfalfa. We planted buckwheat once and couldn't get rid of it. I remember the first time we used dry atrazine while planting corn in the early 60s. Godspeed and the family is wonderful. Eaglegards...

I have worked with the Rede guys. What a great couple of guys to work with. I have used the Intelligent Ag system on a Flexicoil. Told me the machine was plugging runs even before they were totally plugged. I sold the Flexicoil and bought a John Deere. Was told the Deere system was the same. Wrong Wrong Wrong. Intelligent ag is the symplisist system there is and most reliable. Deere costs every year to replace sensors that went out in the off season and has no percentages. So there can be seed and no fertilizer going by the sensor and you won't get a warning.

Oh my! RedE got there in heartbeat getting FastAg on track for spring planting season.

That drill is so wide, that you need either cell phones or 2-way radios to communicate from one end to the other. The Red E dudes seem to know what they are doing.

Has postal code..air seeders and grain carts are built about 500 miles north of Tony in a small town of St Breaux Saskatchewan.

With a heavy loaded tow-behind seed/fert cart, is compaction an issue-? When the crop is up thru the ground and growing taller, can you see the cart tracks-?

Is this the only seed drill that you will be running this year?

How come some people Pull the drill and then the tank.? Others do it vice versa? Obviously we don’t plant Very much Wheat or barley here where I live. Appreciate the videos and all the work go into it

Probably just the manufacturer way of building it... have you seen Mike Mitchell KZread channel. He runs 5 of these drills not 100’ but 84’ still same cart tho. He seems to really like them so it’s no surprise that Tony would buy one either.

One advantage would be you can see the drill. You know if it plugs with straw or a hose comes off. Also with the really big ones that are so wide in transport you can see where the wheels are when you have to pull over and let someone pass.

It’s amazing how it folds up to the transport position. I thought our 45 ft digger was big when the boys got it.

Oh my, you’re going to need a bigger tractor 😱

Ahh the "wireless" intelligent ag system. Most wires and hoses I've ever had/seen on a "wireless" system. That was my biggest complaint about that company. I used to use intelligent ag system on a air seeder and strip till. I now use the j.assy system.

What’s the difference in the way this planter works from the seed master?

just seems like a heck of alot of possibility of something going wrong in a sea of plastic tubing

Mike Mitchell has a hard time pulling a 80ft with more hp than you have. I’m curious how your going to pull 100ft

Mike struggles to pull 84ft with 620 hp. Tony is going to try 100ft with 685. Which is under 7 hp per opener not counting mid row banders. Not to mention the truck load of grain in the cart.

Mike does just fine on level ground and modest slopes.

It is crazy how ubiquitous having to upgrade a high dollar oem purchase has become in order to make things useful. From electronics, ag. equipment, rec vehicles , motorcycle. Seems you have no idea what the end price will be until one makes crap work as things should. Disturbing! Good luck Tony.

Pulls it easy.

Not a good idea to use same tube for fert and seed. You are going to have plugging problems under damp conditions

Seed hoses 1 inch smooth. Feet hose 1.25 coil reinforced plastic.

Yep another farmer think they need a 100 foot planter to plant a small grain crop hell better get a tractor so u can plant it at 20 mph and get done sooner
