Marvel Rivals Console Closed Beta Sign-Up Details
The wait is over, Marvel fans! Console players can finally experience Marvel Rivals, and I have all the details you need to join the beta. What it do, Durag Nation? I’m back with Super News Bits, giving you the latest superhero news in 3 minutes or less. Marvel Rivals, the 6v6 hero shooter that caught everyone off guard, is expanding to consoles. Initially revealed a few months ago, fans were skeptical about another hero shooter. However, the game won over players during a 10-day closed alpha test on PC. Praised for its fun combat and diverse roster, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Magick, and Luna Snow, the anticipation has only grown.
Netease confirmed a closed beta during the Sony State of Play, featuring new characters Venom and Adam Warlock. The Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test starts on July 23rd at 6pm EST, supporting cross-play between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, last-gen consoles are not included. Supported regions are North America, Europe, and Asia.
The closed beta will feature 4 maps, including the new Tokyo 2099: Spider Island, and game modes Convoy, Domination, and Convergence. All characters from the closed alpha will return, along with new additions Venom and Adam Warlock.
Sign-ups are live now for console players. Click the link in the description to complete the questionnaire. For PC players, visit the Marvel Rivals Steam store page starting July 20th at 6pm EST and click "Request Access" under "Join Marvel Rivals Playtest." If you aren’t selected, don’t worry-there will be code giveaways from Marvel Rivals creators like myself during streams.

On Steam: Visit the Marvel Rivals Steam store page starting at 22:00 UTC on July 20th, and click "Request Access" under "Join Marvel Rivals Playtest."

Test Content:
Available Characters: Adam Warlock, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hela, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Luna Snow, Magik, Magneto, Mantis, Namor, Peni Parker, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, and Venom.
Available Maps: Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path, Yggsgard: Royal Palace, Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya, and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.
Game Modes: Convoy, Domination, and Convergence.

@@da3sthebestyeah but they have to spend more time making sure that the game works for the older generation so people who spent the 500-700$ on the “peace of hardware” are the ones suffering because they don’t get to experience the full game’s potential

@@Repulsor1012 no game should be locked behind a $700 pay wall though. They could make a last Gen and current Gen version of a game so both can experience it

I’m pretty dang excited for this game. I just hope there’s a classic Spider-Man suit skin. Between this and the MVC collection I finally feel like a somewhat happy Marvel gamer again. ☺️
