why are you sticking with those beat up wheels on the verge of the cores popping out, on the hardest part of the journey? What is the reason? Is it more World Recordable?

Have you noticed any differences 5:11 in getting speed when pushing or your top speed on downhills as your wheels have gotten smaller from wearing down?

Yeooooo ... Where are you skating today? Or are you skating today? Saw your FB post about your trip to Kingsport Hospital ..checked out your route planner but not sure if it's accurate? I live very close to this part of your Odyssey and I'd be honored to roll with you for a tiny fraction of your journey .. Please advise
I just realized that in the last 2 months while Chad has had the incredible accomplishment of skating across America, the only thing I've accomplished was that i watched a man skate across America. Thanks?

Hola Chad!!, Saludos desde Chile!! One interesting thing about your trip is that you allow us, those of us who live in other countries, to see a face of the USA different from the one shown by the cinema, advertising and tourism in general…, And you meet good people every day... Your simple and positive way of facing difficulties is very motivating. Keep pushing safety!!

Thank you for the kind words as an American. Despite what the media shows, the USA is generally a very friendly and welcoming country where most people would give the shirt off their backs. Chad's videos are a nice little glimpse into what the USA is really like on a day to day basis.

@@beanscollections2020 I would say America is generally more of a place that says they would give you the shirt off their back, then make up excuses when push comes to shove that they would LOVE to give you their shirt off their back, but they just can't now!

@@orangeyewglad If you live in NYC or LA that is probably more true, but overall I would disagree.
My mom has always told me that you suffer more in your mind then in reality. I truly believe you can get yourself to a zen state, where things only affect you as much as you let them. Traffic is the perfect example. Keep up the good work!

Chad's explanation of being a trucker and learning to live and accept that traffic will be bad boils down to the serenity prayer "accept that which you cannot change, courage to change the things you can and wisdom to know the difference" which is the staple for mental health an addiction recovery. You don't even have to be religious to use it. It's just that logical of an idea to use. If you burn it into your mind you will take every situation in a much different and patient manner.
The "yo's" today we're hilarious hahahahaha. That one group straight bolted as soon as they heard his voice lol.

The Yo’s to the animals crack me up everytime! Be safe man!
The great beauty of travel adventure is that we absorb the lessons. Experience teaches us things that take time to understand. Someone on here yesterday made reference to Lao Tzu and the idea that we feel depressed or anxious when we are focused on the past or the future. We feel settled when we can remain in presence. Similarities exist between long distance skateboarding and cycling, hiking or paddling. Yes, driving, too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Always learning. I watch your videos on morning coffee break. Admit to some yearning for the path, but it will happen. Yo. 🖖😎
I love that in the beginning Chad referred to his Hotel as "home". It truly is where your heart is.
The "yo" to animals never gets old haha, and Tennessee is one beautiful state!
Kinesio Tape works very well on shin splints. Start it on the front of your ankles and bring it up to the little bump just below and lateral of your knees. I do it all the time 'cause I'm old and fat and my shins hate me.
That Hound dog was sure happy you made it, he'd been waiting
😂 the cows bolted. 💯 Agree on worrying. It is take unnecessary energy. We just have to PUSH through and mitigate risk along the way the best we can.
Those quiet, smooth backroads your on today look heavenly yo! 🤙🏽😌
Dude i luv when ya share some of your learned philosophies. I applied your traffic theory to some other things in my life and it helps a ton. Thank u
@4:10 you made that dog's day. Well done Sir! You can both be proud. Back in the 80's in junior high I used to skate three miles to school, skate somewhere to session and then usually more than three miles home. Since then I'd scoff at fools who walk with their boards or carry their board on a bike instead of just skating to where they're going. Now, since seeing you, I scoff twice as hard and feel a bit embarrassed that I didn't used to skate further. Well done Sir. That dog's got nothing to bark about.
@DudeistPriest906

Stop all the scoffing and just do you. You don't know the journey of the dude you are scoffing at.
Incredible! Sending love from South Africa! Go boykie!
Idk if you do this already but from one skater to another might I suggest at the end of the day when you’re done maybe prop your feet super high above heart level? Like lay on the ground and prop your legs on a wall vertically for like 10-15 minutes? Good way to help your blood circulation and maybe your swollen feet!
YO! Beautiful scenery today! Blessings Chad, you are almost there! Keep pushing 🛹
Lol at missing your turn and pushing up another hill again! Just want to wish you the best for the remainder of your journey and loving that this trip is getting you more recognition and what your cause is for this trip.
It's never what you think! Just gotta get out there! Thanks Chad!
this is why i love bringing my cruiser everywhere. no tricks or nothing. just ride around, exercise, explore, and enjoy the sceneries
Any chance you could just keep skating around the world? I’m gonna miss these daily uploads.
That one black cow hanging out by that bog had it made.
It may be that your wheels bouncing from being out of round are contributing to the shin splints and bruised ankles, your legs are working twice as hard to keep you in balance. Keep pushin brother!

I love the mental clearly skateboarding always provided me with. I miss it. Skateboarding was a way of life for me and helped get through so much✌✌✌ I love what your doing man!
I think with those dangerous things that we fear, it's not that they aren't existent. It's that, once we're in their midst, we realize that we're more capable of dealing with them than we assumed. The only way past is through, for a lot of things.
you deserved this Surface more than anybody...what an experience

That YO at 5:45 cracked me up. Those cows wanted nothing to do with that YO.
Have you considered a chill day or even two chill days to recuperate? I look forward to your posts and care about your well being. I know u got this!
Yo! Stay strong Chad. We're with you man. Keep on keeping on ✌
Dogs just want to play. They respond to fear hence when people fear them they respond. If we act like we want to play 100% of the time a loose dog will either be nice or run off from its own fear. Never pet a dog while eating. Always let them smell you first with fist closed. They will respond and let you know immediately if they are afraid but stand your ground and never show fear
3:42 This is the definition of (wu wei) . It is a Taoist principle that is the act of not acting. You cant force nature, you can only experience it. Good shit! Thank you, Chad! ☯🛹✌

I've toured the U.S. as a musician for 25 years. My experience is similar to yours. There isn't much trouble, and the trouble that exists is mostly avoidable. It's given me a perspective about Americans...they are helpful and good. It's given me a love of this country. Not in a nationalistic way but I love the land and it's people.

Man, that wheel is almost done! I'm enjoying your reflection on traffic and fears.
You are getting so close!!! I am so psyched for you!!! Keep pushing, Chad! This is just so amazing!
Hey Chad - just wanted to say, your videos inspired me to do my longest skate to date. It was only a bit over 11 miles, to lunch and back (in the rain) but instead of driving like I normally would have (or even biking if I was ambitious,) I decided to skate. It was awesome and forced me to practice my SWITCH skating like you mention in the videos. 50+ miles a day is insane. BUT I see how its doable if the road isnt too bad and it isnt just straight uphill. It was so much fun. Thanks chad! DO YOU HAVE A STRAVA?
Love the inspiring little lessons learned in between that translate to life. Was a fan when you started skating in every state and tuning in to each of these has been amazing keep doing you
Man, those cows were the least chill on the trip, running away like that. Yooooooooo!
'Worrying about something won't change the outcome' 🤙
every time i see your video you stop by some cows and go 'yo how you guys doing, ok bye' hahaha it makes me crease
That cow almost stand up and say hi back to you, take care man
Dang dude, I got tired just looking at some of that uphill pushing. You're killing it!
what helps me is tiger balm. You can get them in small tins usually at Walmart. It might help if you put it on your feet. Good luck
You are a buddha, bro! We are so blessed to have your soul in our consciousness. 🙋Peace and love
Yo if the wheels make it that board belongs in a museum.
😂LOL YOOOOO!! 🐄 🐮 WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!🤣🤣
lol the cows just chillin in the river
Some of these hills look brutal, fantastic scenery where you are now just awesome
Glad no one has really messed with you - that non-shoulder was hectic! 😮
Arnica cream or tablets, Traumeel cream (found out about it in Spain, best cream I have ever used for muscles, bruising, pain, etc. Can be ordered through amazon)magnesium oil spray, and or a handheld muscle roller could be really helpful for the next few days, Appalachians are an unforgiving bunch, love em tho. Rolling your feet around on a golf type ball will also help.
Keeping pushing on Chad bro. Such a inspiration to all. MY MAN!!
I had that same epiphany when I started doing delivery driving. Made me laugh one day when I was in traffic for work most of the day then when I go to drive home and there was traffic I started to get pissed then just started laughing at myself
Love your work!
A skate to the store will feel effortless after this trip 😅
Hahahaha those cows! “Yo” and they run off!
His skateboard is a Time Machine.
best lunch break watch. truly motivating.
keep it rollin Chad!!!!! so awesome
Well done!
Some tough roads today 😮 Thx for sharing!! Keep pushing dude!! Safe travels 🤘🤘🔥🔥❤️
LOVE the content and Love the enthusiasm everyday! Good Luck on the rest of your journey/experience! Question: have you lost weight overall throughout the trip? clothes looked a little baggier here than in earlier vids lol. Thanks again for the belief in yourself and all the positive messages!
faVVV episode, gorgeous shmoooth back road views and the traffic lesson made it fer me, Keep ON keepIN ONNN!!
Keep on ,brother! Well done. 👏
Tino pai tō mahi e hoa (great work my friend). Hope the shins settled down overnight. I here you on that being driven by 'common fears' thing. I remember seeing this experimental short film once (it was part of a programme of shorts one night) where the filmmaker was interrogating the 'culture of security' and contrasting danger as represented in the news media, where you get the most dramatic highlights stuffed into a short span of time. They gathered footage from an inner city security camera and randomly cut several minutes at a time from overnight into an 18min film in which nothing happened. The peak drama was a plastic bag blowing through frame and a stray cat wandering by. Like your experience, contrasts that idea that bad things are always happening, but most of the time they totally aren't. Love the thoughts you share in the vids man, keep it up 👍🏾😃
Thanks Chad, keep going!
Big ups! Super inspirational .. yew!
Tough day man but beautiful scenery
Love watching your videos everyday. Keep up the cow yo-deling! Love it
Keep pushing my dude
Nice one today Chad. Love the trip. The best part about these trips is the getting to know yourself and understanding all the fears and the stuff we carry emotionally and materially means nothing. Nada!! You’ll be fine, just get out there. Great stuff Chad. Hope my comments help the algorithm.
What a beast bro! Stay safe and keep on Pushin'. I'm headin out for a session in a few .
It’s the intervals bro. A bunch of small hills is worse than one big hill. Hang in there. KEEP PUSHIN’

Great vid for hills and cows today
Chaaaaddd! Have Great Day!!! Keeep Puuushhhhinnnnn'!!!!!
5:42 "yo" RUN! HE'S NUTS!
You are the best!!!
It’s always helped me a lot to not get shin splints to do slow circles with my ankles in both directions until my shins start to burn. Really gets them lit up and warm before running or anything. 🤙
Congrats making it to Bristol from all the skaters in the original Bristol in the UK. 💪🏼
Keep pushing bro
A couple of takeaways from this vid; 1. That dog at 4:10 hasn’t seen too many skaters before 2. Eastern TN has some skittish cows man 3. You da man Chad!
My biggest fear would be "that ONE little rock" lol
You should try Lidocaine cream. Best cream I've ever used for pain/ cramps. I can ride all day using it on my legs. Stay safe, God bless
Stay safe and may your bruising and chens feel better
