    the factory pumping out these wooting clones for each company has cheaper options, i got the everglide ae68, 75$ , magnetic switches work perfect, keyboard sounds great, the base plate isnt aluminum but its hard thick plastic that feels very nice, latency is also very good as it supports 8k hz, all of this for 75$ is just a steal honestly

    @@yhiz4757 He said he was using the Atlantis stock settings, which even Lamzu themselves reflected in a tweet why it had such poor performance after analyzing everything. Notice that almost all companies release their mice with high debounce as default to simply avoid people RMAing because of doubleclick. You have to change it manually in the software, and there are people who just use default settings... lol As to 4khz it's a debate that so far has only optimum bringing any type of "proof" other than "I feel it's smoother". Like I personally don't feel a difference between 4k and 1k on 360hz monitor, my mate on the other hand swears he can "see" and "feel it".

    If you want the best, right now Wooting is the only option, otherwise the HE boards are still providing great performance and are better than mechs/membrane keyboards for competitive gaming. I'm pretty sure that with enough feedback EndgameGear will work on the firmware and bring it up to par with Wooting, Lamzu most likely too, but not sure about the other brands.

    The difference is firmware and software. Boardzy tested the endgamegear he board and the polar65 which both don't have great firmware. Atk68 uses the same oem pretty much and matches the wooting in bottoming RT key travel at the time the Rakka test was posted (it's 0.018mm faster, you legit can't notice although iirc wooting fixed a bug with tachyon mode which made it faster). However, there isn't enough testing yet to accurately determine the difference.

    @@TheTechne Honestly optimum did so much damage, first atlantis mouse click latency then the whole poll rate is 100% placebo now saying all chinese boards are the same half arsed HE releases (which a lot of them are but some really aren't). If people have no testing data on the specific keyboard then imo they shouldn't comment, firmware makes a huge difference with these oem boards yet people say it's all the same

    I think it is fair to compare these rapid trigger keyboard to the Wooting. Wooting is still the best on the market in terms of functionality. Every other keyboard has some issue with the rapid trigger, which really defeats the purpose of having the feature. I do think that Lamzu did an amazing job with their first keyboard. I wish it sounded a bit better, but it did surprise me how decent it sounds stock. Currently waiting to see some testing on the rapid trigger implementation before I even consider it. Some keyboard like from Razer are not as smooth.

  • @EifDan
    @EifDan4 ай бұрын

    You need to compare it to the wooting keyboard as its still the best PCB in its class. Hall effect keyboard reviews should be about performance, not aesthetics and sounds at the moment. If you want a nice sounding keyboard then you are heading in the wrong direction with this review. Please measure stats on speed/performance/accuracy of HE keyboards next time as watching this video felt like a waste of my time.
