Garrett, you’re 100% right about golf. It always is there and it always makes you feel better. My dad passed away from cancer a month ago, and the only thing that’s made me feel good is playing golf. Alone out on the course in nature just enjoying life focusing on the game and forgetting about the issues that go on in life.

I can relate to golf being an escape from reality. When my mom had terminal cancer and was in hospice I played almost everyday. I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. Being able to play either by yourself or with your buddies it’s always my sanctuary.❤

Garrett absolutely love you, the energy and honesty you bring to your content. A couple of things to consider if you'd like to break 65 sooner rather than later. The number one thing that's holding you back and you mentioned it yourself, course management. The holes you're struggling on often involve either a poorly positioned tee shot or an in-between yardage into the green (usually caused by hitting driver or hybrid instead of a 3 or 4 iron off the tee). Hitting driver and being aggressive is fine when you're playing a team challenge with the boys but when your goal is to shoot a low number, your mindset has to change. Lastly, I'd recommend keeping the 3 wood out of the bag and going to a 18% hybrid. Keep up the great work with the guys, looking forward to seeing some great videos in 2023. Happy New Year! P.S., from the father in me, a side note to the boys and your CEO. PLEASE START TAKING CARE OF YOUR BACKS (and health in general. Make sure you all have the best health insurance possible)! If your backs are bad, you can't golf (or even get out of bed eventually). I know you guys are young but a bad back doesn't age discriminate. Stop jumping on each others backs, get an inversion table and ice tub at the house. You'll all feel better, play better and have longevity as a result...PEACE!

20:30 I couldn't agree more with this. Whether it's my own thoughts, or my environment at home, I'm not always at peace when I'm here, and golf really does give me a sense of relief/freedom. It's a chance to just get away from everything going on, and just frees my mind. It makes me forget everything else just for a few hours, but it's a feeling that I will always be thankful for, and that's one reason why I love this sport. Thanks for touching up on that subject and reminding me of why I love this game. Keep everything up, Garrett! Love the realness and vibes these videos bring!

Hi Garrett, watched your 3x Break 65 episodes yesterday. You inspired me to challenge myself on the course, to stay in the moment, be clear what I want to do. I've been playing of a 2 handicap for the past 2-3 years, had multiple level Par rounds, but couldn't Break Par. Well today, I went one better, I shot 67 (-5, 32 & 35) ,15/18 GIR, 7 birdies, 2 bogeys. Took an extra club on 90% of the approach shots and just swing easy. Thanks for the great content.

I LOVE it there at Pelican Hills. Such a gorgeous course! I forgot which course I played, but the 18th was a series of cliffs you had to hit with nice shots.

Really enjoy this series. I think having a solid caddie like you had in episode 1, would not only be helpful for you to you in your decision making on the course, but helps demonstrate the importance of the mental part of the game.

this area was my stomping grounds growing up in the 70-80s we certainly didn't have all the golf courses there are now or were there any houses all over the hills ,, almost directly across PCH were some horse stables you could rent horses ,, Crystal Cove was the place to hang out at the time only had maybe about 15-20 beach shanties u could rent a bit sad really to see what's happened but progress happens ,, you guys need to start thinking about Hawaii we got some amazing courses here on the west side of the Big Island especially if you like ocean views ,,

Garret im telling you its that peace you are feeling in Cali. I lived there for 17 years all my life until my family recently moved to sw Florida. I miss cali a lot and although golf may be way way better in Florida, i truly miss being in California and golfing and living there.

Hey Garret... LOVE this video series and this one in particular! Several points which are stand out: 1) Shot tracers on more than just Driver... big thumbs up for sure; 2) Your heart showing through when talking about the past month or so with the GG crew and shake up; 3) Your post game wrap up with ratings... stellar; 4) And finally, your infectious positivity and desire to honor those around you... especially giving props to the fan who gave you the range finder you almost left behind! LOL Well done man!
