    @@Maliique Yin Yang. That’s why it works and will grow. Either alone would possibly grow a lot. It would most likely be short lived though. L They may grow a little slower but will be here longer. Most people that comment much feel the same. There are those,...’people, that she may be a little much for. Lol those people don’t comment too much. Personally, I need both. She hears the music. Like actually HEARS it. He does the lyrics. She couldn’t be that hype and hear both completely. They compliment each other. Etc etc etc drunken ramble etc. lmao

    The never-ending variations of the smile on her face is so infectious. It's just great to see someone surrender to wherever the music is going to take them. Very very liberating to watch.

    It really is, she just loves music. It always makes me smile to see her enjoying it so much. I bet she'd pick up guitar quick. I don't know what it is that makes me feel that way, but as a musician of over 20 years, I have a hunch.

    @@badnewsbruner Also, in my opinion, the fact that she's a BLACK woman "getting into rock/metal music" which is, in my opinion, STILL dominated by WHITE people, is GREAT. In my opinion, TO THIS DAY, NOT TOO MANY or NOT THAT MANY black woman, or black people, in general, "like or can get into rock/metal." Too bad when fans, TODAY, go to a rock/metal concert, they "CAN'T get into the music like LEX can!"

    Lex is such a Metal head, love it when she gets into the music. I gotta admit Megadeth is an acquired taste so Brad it's ok, they are not for everyone but at least you remembered the #1 rule. Never pause during a guitar solo. Great reaction guys.

    @@philobeddoe8342 If you were paying attention rather than stroking your Megadeth boner, you'd notice that Raistlin wasn't saying at all that it was an acquired taste for the guitar. He was almost definitely talking about Dave's voice. He's certainly.. unique. Nasally, pitchy, a low range overall, but he makes it work in his own style and that's what makes Megadeth so memorable. I sure hope missing the point isn't a theme with Megadeth fans like you, cause if that's the case I have to look forward to a shitload of people who only have two braincells to rub together.

    @@jimmyokane5605 It is surprising how much he was advocating for the people (even doing the "Rock the Vote" stuff on MTV) while he was getting blasted on every drug known to mankind! His lyrics were/are a great social commentary of the governments' abuse of power and the social issues we face. I'm not sure if the drugs helped or hindered his observations on the world we live in but he knew/knows his stuff!

    Writing lyrics that are relevant no matter what decade it is isn't genius. It's observant. Humanity's always going to wage war for stupid reasons, even when it has nothing to do with them. It doesn't take a genius to notice that, it takes somebody who's perceptive and ahead of the curve.

    My favorite part about you guys is that you’re not afraid to admit when you don’t like something or that it isn’t for you. We all got different tastes and that’s what’s awesome. Thanks for the honesty. Megadeth is my all time favorite but I get it when someone doesn’t get it into it the same as me. On that note I think you’d both love “ The Conjuring” by Megadeth.

    Gotta say, also been watching many of theirs, mainly for her transparent reaction way.... .I'd encourage suggest to her to let herself interject comments telling us what she's being blown away by...as she's hearing it!!     Love that you are discovering Megadeth!! There has actually been research done showing classical music has the most in common with metal music in terms of compositional complexity and virtuosic musicianship, so you were right on with that one Lex!

    One key characteristic that drove hard rock to become heavy metal was the shift from "jam" or improvised composition (think 60s and 70s rock) to the more pre-planned played-to-the-note composition. Metal shares that with classical music.

    This is Megadeth's "Because we can!" song. But seriously you have to watch the live version of a song by them called She-Wolf from their Rude Awakenings show. Hearing crazy solos and solos being traded back and forth by Megadeth is one thing. SEEING them do it is another.

    I am 100% convinced yet again Lex feels every single riff and note, her eye movements, body ticks, head twists, I'm not trying to take anything away from Brad he has he own feels, not down playing them at all but i'm a metal head and watching this journey Lex takes is just astounding to me I wish more people would get over the stereotype of metal and just feel it!

    It's definitely one of the best. Fade to Black has one of the greatest guitar solos as well. Most of my favorite solos come from Megadeth and Metallica. They are light years ahead of other metal bands, IMO, though the Slayer that I like, I enjoy quite a bit. I just don't like enough of their songs to put them up with those 2.

    @@TheEliminator1992 Both have great solos. What makes a great solo is more than just what guitar players think is cool. It's all about how it fits into a song, and that's where many of Kirk's solos are outstanding. Because of that, they are on equal ground. Some of Megadeth's solos are amazing, as are some of Metallica's.

    @@ktgo4424 Definitely not on equal ground. Especially with Megadeth's Dystopia. There's more feeling to Kiko's solos that I have ever felt with Kirk. But thrash is all relative when it comes to frenzy, fast, angry and frantic songwriting.

    If you want a Megadeth song Brad can groove to try Symphony of Destruction. Pairs well with Countdown to Extinction and Sweating Bullets if you wanted to do a stream Brad would actually survive.

    I love how you both give so many songs an honest listen. You give the lyrics real literal and metaphoric comprehensive consideration, trying to get to the bottom of what's being said. But you both also just chill and feel the music and the energy.

    Is it though? I'm not a metalhead, I mostly enjoy the monsters of rock metal bands but I find it super accessible because it's so damn good. Strong album by any measure.

    The song that got me into Megadeth. This whole album is a masterpiece, and constantly tops best Metal/Thrash album rankings across the internet. You should check out either the 'Sweating Bullets' official video or 'Peace Sells' live from Hammersmith 1992 next. I'm sure Lex would set sail for Pluto at that point.

    This album is one of the greatest masterpieces of our time. If you read the lyrics youll see just how deep it is. From aliens to holy wars and government corruption. One of the best works of art ever created

    Next to Master of Puppets, lol. I mean. This is a great album, but it's held up by 4 awesome songs, and then....eh. MOP holds throughout. Their weakest track, the thing that should not be, is actually incredible live (back in the day when James still had his voice).

    @@ktgo4424 I wouldn't have been able to pick a favorite back in the day. I'd add Ride the Lightning and So Far So Good So What into contention as well. Personally I prefer Ride the Lightning over Puppets.

    @@suicyconaut I understand the thought. At one point, I was undecided. I just came to realize, that as great as the first 4 of Lightning are, probably as a whole better than the first 4 of Puppets, the back 4 of Puppets are just epic, IMO. I love Disposable, Leper Messiah, Orion and Damage. To me, it's what separates MOP. Most albums hit you right off the bat with their best, and then fill in with mediocre songs or worse.

    I have watched a couple of your videos now, and lex' adorable smile and energy has earned you a new sub. Brad, you headbang to the beat of the song and go from there. Let the music and the beat take you where it wants to go. Some people feel it instantly, some don't and that's ok. Metal is about freedom of expression and all that. Take your time. It will come.

    I've heard this song so many times that I can actually play this on the guitar and yet watching Lex reacting to it makes me feel like I did the first time I heard the song. Makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again discovering metal music myself. I love it!!!

    Ok, so over my browsing I found that Lex loves guitar solos. I saw Hangar 18 on my front page today and thought OMG Lex is gonna LOVE this. This is a Heavy Metal masterpiece. That entire album is arguably, and certainly one of, the greatest metal albums of all time.

    This is what they played on the Arsenio Hall Show. It was great. w original members who played on the record. The lead guitarist now lives in Japan amongst his own fame there.

    I love your reactions. It's great to see skeptical Brad, and Metal Lex. It's great when you are willing to be honest and not cater to the audience. When you do like a song, then we know you're being honest. I suggest Tornado of Souls from this album, which is another awesome song from RIP, and Orion from Master of Puppets. It's the greatest metal instrumental, hands down. Takes you on a ride.

    Hey Brad and Lex Love the reactions Seemed that Lex really liked this one. Please try some Dream Theater. The songs Glass Prison or This Dying Soul I think Lex would Really get into them. They are a Progressive Metal band and have many long compositions if youre into that. But these two songs are pretty heavy and hopefully elicit the same response as this song did. Keep it up

    Hey guys, Lex had mentioned classical arrangements in this piece, I'd like to recommend a guitarist Yngwie Malmstein the track is called Far beyond the sun. Definitely pick the video where he's sitting by himself between 2 columns. I'm sure many others will agree with this choice, sorry Brad no vocals or lyrics I think you'll be impressed none the less.
