    Perk isn't racist, he is definitely biased and horrible at understanding analytics. But him pointing out that nearly 70% of the people who make the decisions on basketball accolades are white and never played the game at the highest level is prominent. Bc is he wrong to assume they would have no racial bias as well? No, because everybody does whether they want to admit it or not. If they had only stat sheets to chose from without mentioning the players name or team, it would eliminate racial biases and force people to pick the best players and not the ones they favor. Until the decision-makers change and the process for choosing mvps changes, racial biases will always be a factor. Was he wrong for bringing it up? No, but he was wrong in how he presented his incomplete thoughts, bc he is as Draymond says lazy at his job.

    @quotidiansovereign8724

    @@jacksonmuralt9086 Making the media change is a stretch. They were going to do what they were going to do, regardless of what Perk said. They put themselves into this position of a pity MVP bc they gave Jokic two MVPs in row that easily either one could have been justified to Embiid. His team's were higher ranked both those years and he's had similar numbers 3 years in a row. They chose Jokic for his 1st MVP, when his team was in 6th place. That's when they put themselves in this predicament. Had they given Embiid the MVP that year, they most likely would have given Jokic the MVP this year bc his team was the number one seed the majority of the year. But they didn't and they had to make the decision whether Jokic was worthy to receive 3 in a row like all-time great Larry Bird. They decided not to and gave a pity MVP to Embiid. And yes people are biased, I've said that multiple times. But political systems and their biases are structured on racism and discrimination. Which is an entirely different conversation. When the MVP is decided on who has great numbers and what place their team's in at the end of the regular season.

However, he decided to take the "silly" route on ESPN. I believe it started when he was part of a panel and asked if the warriors will win the finals. All, on the panel that didn't believe the warriors would win, turned into clowns by placing a zero handsign in front of their face. He joined in on the theatrics. He officially became part of the clown show.
