My daughter (4) absolutely loves the hunter content on this video and has watched/requested to watch this one many times. She knows all of you in the show but always asks about Hunter. We love all the videos and like to watch them together.
Something comforting watching wood sheds and pig pens being demolished. Nice to have a trackhoe and Paul knows how to use it . Thanks for my morning entertainment.
I have to say that no matter how my day is going good or bad when I see Fab Rats upload, it makes my day better! Puts a smile on my face, and I can't wait to watch it! Yall are awesome! Hopefully, someday, I can make it out there from Ohio and visit the Rat shack and say hello.

Supersport, I’m in Ohio also! My goal is to someday go on a road trip and buy some merch from all these shops! Let me know when you’re ready to go too! I’m not creepy or anything, but I do have a van that says “Free Candy” on the side. 😂
Paul and Hunter are living "safety third" to the fullest... 😁😇😜🤟

Don't forget to build drains in front of both shops, so rainy days don't flood your shop floor! :D

Just build the floor high enough and there is no need for a drain in front. The ground should slope away from the building to shed water
@chrismartin223

@@jamesg7389 It slopes in the old shop today, but the driveway outside slopes more. And how should Paul raise the floor in the old shop? Wouldn't it be a mess, pushing cars into the shop bays, if the floor slopes to much?
When Paul said "jag of scrap metal", I was instantly taken back 30+ years. My grandfather would always say he needs to go get a jag of wood when it was time for more firewood. Wow.
Radiant heat in the new shop floor would be awesome for those cold winter days. Hope it dries up during your build.
Fun show again. We put up a 64x50 shop just for dry storage across from our main shop. No concrete floor. Actually crushed concrete. The dirt pad cost 9 grand but we had to haul in a lot of dirt. Advise, no water in the shop. They had some kind of packer that would rattle the wrenches hanging on the wall across the street at our main shop. It was crazy. Its fun watching you grow your small business.
Take away message - Always important to weaken the structure as much as possible before working on the roof.

I actually had a "boss" ( got the job because of _WHO_ he new rather than *what* he knew ) once , who decided it was time for his li'l 8'x8' home-center shed to GO. This was before KZread vids, so I guess he got his edjumacations of mechanical deconstructionisms by watching (Looney Toons ?) cartoons. He actually got up on the roof with his drill driver to remove *ALL* the screws. Wiley Coyote would've been proud of him as he removed the last screw 😂 🤦🤷♂️ . Being only 5'3" , he was hanging upside down by his snagged pants leg for nearly an hour 'til his wife got home , curious enough , & found him way-out in back. We were kinda shocked ( due to his *ego* ) that he even admitted to this , but i guess it made him feel like "one of the guys" to have a "WarStory" to tell . ⚠️ _Be_ _CAREFUL_ , Hunter ! ⚠️
I appreciate you guys converting the the temperature into Celsius! There's only 3 countries out of the 195 countries on earth that still use the imperial system so I imagine that it appreciated by many.
Don’t forget, this shed was built with phone company nails, screws, and line hardware, so its not gonna go down easy. Take it from a retired MA Bell lineman, Paul “redeployed” ( borrowed) only the best!
Paul is the man I think of when demolition is required!
1:29 It's called a claw hammer, Hunter. Anyone who watches MORR knows that the claw hammer is the ultimate tool.

HEY! Good morning Fab Rats and of course thumbs UP! 👍. Have a good day everybody!!
Nice to live in a small town where you know everyone and everyone knows you. Trip to the dump and I was waiting for 20 minutes of unloading the trailer, but the dump trailer took care of that.
benefits of a small community. "we know people" Miss that small community vibe from my home town... Great channel. Family fun every day.
Mastery with the CAT Back-hoe! Demo leveraged with the right tool for the job is always a great accomplishment. Nice go Hunter, you are getting an education with Paul's mentoring.
The back gates on those trailers needs to be redesigned, Paul. We run those trailers at my place if employment, but they are newer where they have remedied the issue. I noticed when you ran your hydraulic dump to get rid of that scrap, your back door on the passenger side was dragging on the ground. They need to be able to swing back further to tuck up towards the trailer more so you don’t accidentally rip them off.
Hi all, looks like you had fun in your yard. Tell you a strange fact, while you were filming pushing that wall off, up in the sky, there was the moon still there as it's always been this time of year, but the amazing part is somehow later (or is it before?) It's also the moon in my sky also. We all think the world Is ours, but like KZread it's shared like the moon and the sun.. LOL - Have a fab time all... Ian - UK.
Good morning fab rats 🤘💯
Good to see the shop is happening. If I wasn't so far away I would come help. I am a Licensed Builder in Michigan but that means nothing in Utah. Great video guy's.
Sweat equity aka nail equity. Way to go! PS - At least you got all the preliminary steps completed.
Hunter is learning a lot about how to do everything. From mechanical stuff, filming, etc. He will be able to do anything soon. I am so proud of him for giving everything a try. Can do attitude. Go Hunter. 👍. This video is awesome. I like it when the kids are in it. Landon is just awesome. He has grown up so much since I started watching FabRats. God bless everyone. ❤️🙏🙏👍👍❤️
Well that will be a nice addition, have a good week and God bless amen. 🙂👍
My daughter was one of the people who came up with the concept of HelloFresh in Wageningen Netherlands. It's a good product.
Hey kid, what you need is a de-nailer. Air powered like a nailer, only it's a de-nailer. Anytime you've got more than 5 nails to pull, it's worth setting up. You think papa's got some neat tools, wait until he sees this! Oh, and you'll be spoiled for life, but that's okay. Growing up is all about havin' the coolest big-boy toys anyway! You're welcome.
FYI, I know it is too late now but if you run a sawzall between the boards and cut the nails, you could have easily taken the shed down without breaking or cutting the frame. It is how pallets are taken apart if you build pallet furniture. I'm glad Hunter wanted to reclaim the shed. Builds character.

Winning truck. Paul let you use his truck Hunter. That is so nice of him.
Good job guys! Thanks for taking us along! J.R.
I remember as a very small kid when my grandparents burned down the old barn by their house in good old Downey Idaho, back in the day that was how you got rid of old structure!
Love this. Just knocking stuff out and getting rid of Junk. That Mini- Ex is a God send.
Oh wow cleaning that up. Looks like a whole different properties. Good job looking good.🤷🏽♂️👍🏽✋🏽👏🏽✋🏽🙋🏽♂️😊😎.
Wow!!! Paul and the kids can really get after it when they want to!
Good morning fab rats!
Good comment about the drainage. I remember the other video where water was coming in. He had to make sure the door was shut. It’s always better if the shops elevated just a little bit higher than the ground 17:06 around it. I’ve built two really nice shops. I’d rather build a shop than a water house. It’s my favorite place to be.
Watching someone else do demolition is so much easier than doing it myself. Almost as much satisfaction when it's done, too. 😉👍
Excited for the new shop addition. Remember to install a floor drain!
That roof is not tin but looks like galvanized steel. Tin is a sealant used on steel cans to prevent leaking.😊
The nails where on sale when he built that shed lol
@richarda996
Жыл бұрын
That was when nails were made of steel. Personally I save them.
Lot's of work made easy with good tools...new shop expansion will be really kool.
Morning crew thanks for sharing your time
I think Hunter needs a tool box in his pickup for basics and for tow ropes and such.
Getting After It as usual. It’s funny to see a young man wrestling with a 20 penny hand driven nail. I liked that old wood shed I was warmer just looking at it
denailing all of those boards is going to be fun!
Best part was seein' Michele fixin' grub for the fam in her bare feet ! Reminded me of growin' up days at home .
New shop time! How exciting for yall!
I found myself talking to my phone, dude it's a claw hammer !😂
😂 Paul , I can definitely tell you were in the HDD world. Pig pen made out of drill rod, I love it! I must say tho, pvc instead of HDPE? And no tracer wire? Lol
Hunter anyone who's put a building up done roofing knows what claw hammers are for and what wrecking irons are and I'm sure Paul didn't want the shed to fall down. But good job getting the building torn down
When my wife says I think you should do that tomorrow and I keep going I usually regret it the next day. I think I’m gonna build what you guys tore down. I didn’t see any lags in that from the utility company 😊
I was cringing through the entire Hunter clip trying to disassemble that wood shed. 😅 Boy got some learning to do! Hehe
Paul Put some anchor's in the slab floor you can use for pulling. And if you take a railroad track and put it in the slab sticking up an 1/8 above FF, and ground it to your welder you all ways have a great ground. Just tac what your working on to the track .Hope you read this
That lil excavator sure comes in handy i bet.
Paul's extreme spring cleaning.....Good job all!
CONGRATS ON NEW SHOP!
Fortunately everyone involved is light on their feet. 😂
Tearing down a shed is easy... Doing it without making tons more work for yourself is an art 😂😂
Sure would be sweet if you put a pit in that new shop. Let’s you work under a vehicle as it sits on the ground
This just made me smile the entire video!
"Couldn't do much by myself" is more of a mindset than a limitation. There are few tasks that I can't figure out how to do by myself, and yes I have a tractor. I ain't got anyone else to help me, so I always have to figure it out myself. It might take longer (sometimes a lot longer) or maybe you just approach the problem differently.
Extreme makeover Fab rat style😂❤🎉. Good to see you have the opportunity to improve on land. Best wishes for the future
It'll be nice to have a paved yard - especially when it's wet, muddy & icy
I appreciate the work ethic and family business. Nice work!
If you only knew how many hours it took me 30 years ago to get all the nails out of those pig pen floor boards. Grandpa Dellas brought a huge stack of boards all nailed together and he said he would build me a pig pen if I got all the nails out. It took my 10 year old self almost 2 months a couple hours a day. But that has been a great pig pen.
Demolition is the best part of any remodel. Especially when you have an excavator. Boom!
Hunter, mate, before tackling something like that on your own, you gotta give your mates a call and get them to come down and help you. Also, your truck is so gonna win ;-)
To be honest I never thought I'd enjoy Hunter segments - but he's officially won me over 🎉
Gotta love that Paul's videos ALWAYS include a fire. 🔥
Yay, more storage for your projects that aren't finished yet grid
The joys of homeownership. There is always something to do.
It’s always nice when you have friends at the dump
Woohoo new shop. Enjoy watching it yall
I thought Paul was a little rammy until I saw him on the excavator 😁 Now I know he's A LOT rammy 🤣🤣 I sure hope the grade goes Away from the shop doors this time 😉😂 And a floor drain !!! EXCITING !!!
Awesome. Coming along nicely rat's
Paul built that shed to last. It kept the firewood dry so there was heat in the house during winter.
Nice video. And Hunter your backing up skills yep i think Paul is safe at #1 😇
When editor Boss Lady is correcting you on the name of a tool... Ouch, Hunter. Pst, nice catch Michelle
Coming Soon: FabRats Taj-Garage/Shop Fire Pit - I once built a decent pit using one of the wheels off of an old skidder. Some plasma torch work but it turned pretty well. just a thought.
I hope the new shop allows Grandma Lolly to move out of that tough-shed thingy. Having that jammed up against the metal shop between the doors sets off my clutter meter.
" JD is opening the dump for us. " Helps to have friends in high places. 😂
you got every cent out of those tracks
I was waiting to see how long it took Hunter to go ahead and cut that shed into pieces
So happy you are getting a new shop!
Maybe back the trailer into the shed and Jack it up from the bed of the trailer, we’ve moved several of the farm buildings that way. Looks like a shed driving down the road 😅😂🤣
Safety Tip of the day! if Paul's running heavy equipment you should be running too. Running Away!!
Oh man, that shed wood would go for a fortune to the right builder/architect.
Whoop Whoop, Been looking forward to this new shop build! Also, the new Merch I ordered is Great. Thanks, FabRats.
When I watch your your channel your learning me stuff but I think I could learn you stuff with your ' dirt work' 😁
So exciting! Glad to see some progress being made. If you can't name a tool Hunter, you can't use it!
Looking forward to new adventures in the new shop!
Spring clean up and shop expansion is all comming together, good job FABRATS 👏 👍 👌
Paul I wonder where the phone poles and all the lineman bolts came from my fellow lineman. 🤔🤔😂😂😂
Good work the new shop is going to be fine for you guys
Matt and Paul are not the same when it comes to hammers 🔨 !!!🤣 Clearing for a new shop is always exciting!!!💪
My wife would have loved this episode. She likes seeing crap being hauled to the dump. Speaking of crap, it appears that Paul has accumulated a bunch of it through out the years.
Hunter, why you looking over your shoulder talking about the square body?!?! HAHAHA, y'all are funny LOLOL
Tucker, you could of had an Amish Barn Move for that shed…..moving the entire shed intact to its new location
Demolition is so much fun. I love it too Paul
Its about time you guys made a bigger shop - This is so AWESOME to watch!
