If you think someone copying a key is bad then you should try checking out videos by the lockpicking lawyer and never feel safe with any locks ever again , have a great day ray

I would think that anyone with the skills to copy the key from a video will get in if they want in, with or without a key.

The best part of video series like this is in a year or two we’ll all look back and think wow, your shop has come such a long way!

Keys, schmees… Christmas Eve, someone backed a 5 ton truck up to the overhead doors of my dad’s shop, cut them out, and loaded the whole shop of tools and gear. Full mechanics shop, and 30 years worth of of Snap-On et all, all conveniently in a new set of rolling cabinets. That was a whole lot of no fun.

Copying a key is more difficult than just showing up and picking the lock, but even that is more difficult than forced entry.

Ray, I don't know you and you are probably tired of advice about your new business. But, I would like to point out some things. I'm guessing you are setting up your business as a Sole Proprietorship and I would suggest you look into setting up as an LLC or Corporation. An LLC and Corporation will cost more to setup but in the long term will provide liability protection, your personal assets will be protected (i.e., lawsuits from customers or vendors), they can only go after your businesses assets. I would also suggest you use an accounting firm for all of your tax preparation. Accountants will be up to date on any changes in taxes and tax law, this will be very important if you run a Sole Proprietorship since you will have to use Schedule C form on your personal income tax return. Accountants can help with any equipment that can be depreciated and the depreciation schedule to use or any tools or clothing, for example, you can claim as a business expense.

Sorry ! I have the same air compressor in my house garage . I play @ home, I originally installed “ Harbour Freight” floor insulators to keep vibrations to a minimum , I could never remove 32 wheel nuts from my 3500 HD without it starting half way through , it runs forever , very noisey , & gets so hot , it melted my insulators in 1 year ! Put Hockey pucks in their place ! So noisy & heats my garage ! Creates so much water, you can make a coffee after a week ! I do little @ home ! I have the same tire machine as you at my shop,,, it will not hold enough volume to keep a rim secure ! An angle grinder ( same as yours ) puts the compressor on in 3 minutes , you stop , wait 15 minutes till it airs up ! Can’t tighten 4 tires on my wife’s new Blazer without the thing running constant , not enough storage & can’t trust tightening close enough to torque nuts ! Sorry pal, fact is fact ! Good luck my friend .

Ray, Some suggestions. Locate lights along the wall in front of the vehicles and between the vehicles. Not above the vehicles as that blockers the light. The area from floor to 18” is Classified as Explosion Proof Area. No circuits or receptacles down low. No Non metallic cables.

Ray like one of your viewers said a few days ago, it would’ve been nice to spray white paint on the walls & ceiling to make it brighter

the only thing about the compressor placement is it might get in the way trying to crab in with a big rig like yours, when you pulled it in the other day you were saying the stuff was already in the way
