I so agree about The Sims being prescribed to people who are ill. I played it while I was depressed and making sure my sims were well taken care of with diet, exercise, cleaning the house and scheduled fun time inspired me to just literarily do the same for myself.

Tummy time IS a thing, and it’s very important! It helps the baby train and get more control over the muscles in their neck and arms, so they can eventually roll themselves over and start to crawl :)

When you add commas try to read the sentence in your head, pausing where the commas are. If it feels/sounds unnatural then you're probably (over)using commas incorrectly! Just a fun fact :)

@@snr0n perhaps it's been fixed now but it was more an issue of glitchy gameplay that some folks were unhappy with. I am mostly a builder when I play, so I've always liked the pack- but I've definitely heard plenty of complaints about it being finicky to actually play with.

I remember playing the original Sims as a kid and being the strictest parent ever. When the kids got back from school they would be made to study for 2 hours, then dinner (no snacks/junk food), a further 3 hours of studying and homework and then maybe half an hour of playtime before bed. Meanwhile I'm actively avoiding homework playing the Sims and eating doritos.

As a Mom I can confirm being hungry and having to pee are big parts of parenting 😂

I enjoy listening to Trixie add an extra vowel into the word “toddlers” “I have two todd-a-lers”

tummy time is a real thing! it’s to help babies practice the strength of supporting their necks by themselves and to help them sit up! some people do it with a blanket or bed or on a special mat designed for it(usually filled with water) it’s really cool 😊
