Fabulous fireworks. As you went towards the Queen's Room at 3.00 on the video, on the right I see the portrait of Queen Anne (the person). I do hope you show this in a later episode as it was painted by my cousin who was commissioned by Cunard to do this portrait.😃

This is the video I was waiting for! I love how you've filmed this from your POV, so it lets us feel like we're discovering the ship with you - love it! Although the ship does look lovely, I'm still not convinced by the Queens Room - that still needs to grow on me...!

It is a stunning ship!

The food in the speciality restaurant looked amazing, the crunch wheel Paul was a lotus flower I think. I could taste the wagyu steak, it looked delicious. Can't wait for the next episode.

It was fabulous food! Next episode out on Friday!

We went to Tramonto on Embarkation Night, which was also excellent (and it transpired a very wise choice vs Britannia Restaurant as anyone who was also on board will attest) then watched the spectacular fireworks from the comfort of our cabin. I had a .week pass to the Spa, and used it every day bar one. I think they need additional loungers in the thermal spa area, the heated beds fill quickly and no one wants to get off them, then there is no where to rest and read if you are not one of the lucky few.

Yes glad we had speciality booked to with all the MDR issues! The heated beds did fill easily then we enjoyed the lovely soft beds in the relaxation area, they were so comfy!

Such a down to earth and informative vlog. Love the maiden voyage fireworks. They were so much better than the Inaugural voyage of the Icon of the seas, which you would have thought would have been better as it was the "largest ship in the world ". Also, loved your cabin location as it was or looked as though it was very close to the water.

I’m going on Queen Anne’s Transatlantic Maiden Voyage in January 2025! My very first ever Transatlantic Maiden Voyage!! Really excited and know that I will thoroughly enjoy the experience!! BUT •••• I’ve already decided that it will be ONLY TIME on QA !I absolutely hate the interior design and decor of this ship!!! The place looks like a medium level hotel on shore. Can we say Howard Johnson boys and girls ??? No Cunard aura. Cold , Stark, Uninviting and boring!!! The “ younger generation “can have it !! Give me the beautiful and elegant Art-Deco designs !! Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth and the one of a kind fabulous Queen Mary 2 HERE I COME !!! 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍. MikeW.

That's what a lot of people said on the first couple of days on our cruise....spoke to them near the end of the cruise and they were already thinking of booking Queen Anne again LOL! It is great there is a choice now but like you we really love the older Queens too!

Lovely vlog guys. We'd love to try a maiden voyage- we know there will be teething problems, but to be the first to try things - so cool. We've never cruised Cunard. Queen Anne looks lush. Lovely thalaso pool. Lovely cabin. Wow michael roux was always the chef when I worked on celebrity. Those bloody Mary's worked well! That band are amazing. Those bowls and plates in the restaurant are mental! Brilliant sail out and the fireworks are amazing. Great shots. Mike Doyle is fab - great Welsh guy. Love that you had so many channels on board. Great vlog guys 🍻

If you speak to your travel agent, they can pretty much get you any cabin you want. Our travel agent Dan is excellent if you haven’t got one.

I know they are already divided they've got the option for traditional and modern both are beautiful ❤

No unfortunately not, you have to share, but they do cap it so it’s not to crowded

Great video! I'm looking forward to watching the rest in the series. I'm really looking forward to boarding Queen Anne in August but based on what I've seen so far I don't think she'd going to knock Queen Victoria off her top spot for me. Personally I think $65 supplement is high even for amazing food. Very disappointed to see supplements in the Golden Lion. I'm sure they'll be lots that I love but I'm managing my expectations. Thank you!

She is definitely different! Ali Wa certainly wasn't cheap for the set menu and if you wanted to you could just go there and spend $10 on the other menu and just pay for each dish. Yes that was disappointing in the Lion! Go with an open mind and we are sure you will have a great time!

Right Then you have the right of it, sadly This Queen is to appeal to the younger crowd which is okay cause as long as they don’t mess with QM2 it isn’t a deal breaker Will QA have a particular territory? It seems like the queens get around in no particular fashion 😂 Really appreciate the food shots and Royal Theatre seating Looking forward to the next episode

Hi Ian! Spends on how many dresses she is taking....I had about 10 and there was probably room enough for 10 more if you move the rails around!

So many concerns I don't know where to begin .the more blogs I see the more worried I get. Because I've paid for two week in August, I really don't know what to do , give it a go or try reschedule to other cunard ship. Not happy

All the issues we encountered are solveable as all to do with service. This should improve in time and by August we would like to think things would be much improved!

My favourite cruising couple! I really don't like this ship. 😂 It's nothing grand anymore. Contemporary avarage. Very disappointed. I stick with the old three. 🙋‍♂️

And the old fashioned band looks totally out of place in this style, while it never does in the classic interior. And don't let me start with that ZARA-Store "Grand" Lobby... 😅😅 Sorry guys!
