Emma Crawford Coffin Races are in Manitou Springs, CO (near Colorado Springs) typically the last Saturday of October. Been to this one - it’s a hoot! Frozen Dead Day Days was in Nederland CO 2002-2022, moved to Estes Park in 2023. The two events are not related in anyway.

I use to work for a newspaper for years so when I'm bored I have to go dig into things to entertain my brain. I am a property manager now so I have to find creative ways to get more mental exercise.

It is Mongolian curly lamb, but yes, like a cross between Mongolian and Persian lamb. This is thicker and deeper pile than the nearly flat Persian lamb you see in black, usually.
