The crochet blanket...DONT CLIP OFF LOOSE ENDS!!! Weave them back in with yarn needle.

Fun! Side-note as someone who has crocheted since they were 7 years old, don't clip the crochet thread, it will unravel. Better to "weave" it back in.

I'm thinking with all the people picking thrift stores to resell and making videos thrift stores are catching on and jacking prices up.

I feel like Kayla has increased your confidence. You seem happier when you're together in videos. I also think you've contributed a ton to her videos. I love you guys together!

The crochet blanket is great, but please sew in any loose threads if you cut them it may start to unravel

hello there! fellow crochet maker here, the hanging out yarn pieces look like the tales. i wouldn't suggest to cut them, just bc it may make the blanket come apart in time! when crocheting we connect the yarn and the ends are weaved in and those are the ends. just keep them as is! :)

I actually have a matching bathroom mirror for that wood shelf! I had no idea one even existed - the mirror came with the house we bought 20 years ago. Now I need to go search for the shelf!

Love watching you all pick. Am realizing MANY of the items you all get excited over and pick up are items I have had and used in my lifetime making me realize, I. Am. OLD. LOL.

Oh man Matt That WOOD shelf was the bomb. Should have picked it. I know it’s large but that carved piece was a beaut. Just needs a wood cleaning.

Now I'm going to be in the lookout for at least enough orange tile to put in front of my fireplace, with plywood on the rest of my living room floor. Thank you Matt for sharing your videos and teaching how to buy & sell on eBay, I've learned a lot from you & Kayla! Due to health reasons, I decided last September that I was going to be a eBay reseller to make a living. I don't want to be on disability, I have entirely to much stuff & I don't want my daughter to have to deal with all of it after I've gone to live in heaven. Anyhoo, thank you again ❤

Leisa, as someone that was a tile-setter professionally, in my younger years, I really enjoyed the primitive aspect of Mexican tile, they (particularly the vintage tiles) would be suited better for use in a backsplash, rather than a floor or countertop, due to the fact that aging causes brittleness, cracking and chipping. Hope this helps. : ) If you like the more playful ones, look for the tiles that have bird, cat, dog or other tracks on them, due to the fact they are/were dried outdoors.

I am in your shoes right now. Unfortunately I wish I would’ve seen their videos long ago before I filed for disability, because you can’t make any extra money on disability. So reselling I think is not an option for me. I wished it was because I so love it and I have so many Antiques & vintage I can sell. They have always been in my life.

It must be a big shock to the system sourcing in places like Kentucky compared to California.

I do enjoy your videos! One question- why don’t you take a bag(s) in with you so it would be easier to pick up and carry stuff.

Goodwill and thift stores will never lower their prices due to resellers. They see reseller putting items back up to retail so the thift stores think they can do the same. Watch garage sales will do the same thing. Used back up to retail.

FYI - never clip ends on a crocheted blanket - it will unravel - cause a hole. Just weave the end back into the blanket

That "W" hat is the Washington Nationals. I totally agree with you about churches having thrift stores; I have a local one and have found great things like Lladro, Patagonia, SAS shoes, etc! I wish more churches would do rummage sales too

Hi you guys… can’t wait to see who wins and where they are from! I’m 100 miles north of the Kentucky line. My Mamaw and Papaw lived in what use to be Martwick, they strip mined the town, nothing there any more. When Papaw passed my Mamaw moved to Booneville, Indiana. But I still had family in Kentucky, I just loved all my southern memories as a kid. Good, genuine people, like you Kayla… Matt was raised by good people as well, you can tell. He must be from the Southern part of the state… LOL! Love the hauls you two, my kind of stuff. Garage sales here are super and cheap…. A lot of “cool” stuff.

Hi there! First time I see a video that is new! So pleased. I have found you a month or so ago and was watching some videos from years ago. Love following you around. I would have loved to buy those tiles from you but I am far in Canada but any special tile like that I would totally buy. They are so rare and can be used by artists and designers for so many things. Also on their own single as trivets or decorations that are portable for renters. Pocket size beauty. Thanks for the video.

Our local mission has three thrift stores. Pretty much all of the Christian churches are involved. They are more expensive, but not much and you figure you are contributing to the care of the less fortunate. I donate a ton of stuff to them. And every once in a while, I go in the one by my area and look around. I have purchased some stuff. But for a reseller it’s not gonna be great. I did get a really super cute denim jacket for my granddaughter for five dollars. I was so surprised.

Not Wisconsin! We do not have standard prices on anything. Nothing is $1.99, like in Kentucky. I still enjoy thrifting!!

Make sure the Paul Revere tea kettle doesn’t rock when you heat water in it. I have one that does so can’t really sell it.

Beautiful blanket. SUGGESTION: Wash that crochet blank by hand. Put it in a beach towel after you wash by hand and roll it up like a cinnamon roll the long way then one of you take an end of the roll and twist in opposite direction of the other until it's real tight and you think most of the moisture is absorbed by the towel. You might want to do this outside. Then you need to lay it flat some where to finish drying. Put a king size flat sheet down to lay the blanket on it. Check it and flip it after a few hours. If you put it in the dryer do so on low or air dry. They shrink easily.

Goodwill sucks in our area (Orange County/LA County) - you can see the employees looking items up for pricing or to hold for their website sales in the back of the stores. It will be curious to see their future as more and more re-sellers are not even bothering to go there anymore as it's harder and harder to find anything worth the effort to flip.

I also live in OC/LA and I’ve found Salvation Army to have better prices but they are starting to raise prices. Once a month usually end of month they have a 50% off of all clothing. And twice a year they have a $2 sale. I think the next $2 sale is in July…..
