I feel the same way and yes I cry also...every time

I know this is after the section, and that you’ve already had the baby… but don’t worry!! As far as breastfeeding, for anyone else that is worried, your body is an amazing thing. I tell my patients ALL the time, your body will produce exactly what your baby needs, and if YOU just aren’t feeling it, do NOT worry or feel bad/ashamed. You need to make sure that you are feeling good or else you’re no good to anyone. If that means placing baby to breast, great. If it means pumping and having someone else feed the baby a bottle? Awesome. If you are nauseous and feel like crap and the thought of something, anything near the breast makes you sicker? Get a formula bottle… because the first 24 hours are HARD, and as long as the baby is fed, that’s all that matters!

My god i wish i had someone like you at the hospital that i gave birth to my twins . They stressed so much that we were together in the room . The girl was having so many problems she was breastfeeding the baby every 5 minutes. She couldn't sleep at all and all the nurses was telling her not to stop although the baby was dehydrated. The babies just want a healthy mom. Not just her tits. i fed my twins onky for a month and i gece them brest and formula . Then i had 3 painful stomach crisis caused by cholecystitis. I was thinking that it was very bad for my babies that i din't had breast milk any more ..But it just stopped..

This is such a beautiful piece of advice! Fed is best, happy mom happy baby! Nobody should ever be shamed for choosing breast or formula or combi. Thankyou for giving such amazing advice to your px

@@joannakobrin8386 I hate when I hear the other RN’s getting on mom to BF when they’re in recovery! Like, she’s shaking like a leaf, trying not to vomit, and let’s be real… that babe was JUST cut loose- we have a good 4 hour reserve built up, so let’s recover mom and move her to her PP bed, then get baby on the breast. My own daughter was bottle fed for the first 3-4 days, and only went to the breast once I got home and was so exhausted at 0330 that I couldn’t stand to make her a bottle, and remembered that I had 2 built in bottles ready to go! From that feed on she was EBF for 15 months! My 4th and final kid, and the only one that ever went to the boob. And they all turned out just fine! (In case I hadn’t mentioned… I’m also an LND rn)

I was like you, my first I couldn’t deliver and had a c-section after 21 hours of labor. Second planned section was so much easier on me. Not exhausted, recovery was better. I cried leaving my first just like you. You are going to be great, my surgery lasted 45 minutes! So many blessings to you and Andre!

Congratulations!!! I still remember being so very anxious for with your last delivery so what a relief that this one seems to be going to plan. I had 3 C sections, first after 2 days of labor, 2nd scheduled turned emergency 2 weeks early, and 3rd smooth. Everyone has their stories.

First of all, congratulations! The two of you were SO precious during this video. I was a childbirth instructor and needed to have a c-section with my first. But my second c-section was great especially compared to my first, much like you. One thing I relived with you is saying goodbye to your first baby. My son seemed so small when we left for the hospital and then such a big boy after is sister was born. So happy for your whole family (even though you’re making us wait. It will be worth it!). So happy for y’all In 1982 I went into labor on a Saturday, admitted on Sunday, starting pushing on Monday morning & my son was finally born Wednesday afternoon. Thank the Lord they don’t let you go that long anymore 💕🙏

I have a similar first birth experience to yours and my second birth was a scheduled C-section but I developed preeclampsia at 37 week checkup and had to do emergency csection again (twin birth). Prayers for speedy recovery. You got this!

Congratulations on baby #2! Hope everyone is doing well! Seeing this after your first delivery was like night and day! So glad you had such a better overall experience leading up to the birth. I only have 1 right now, but ended with a Csection after being induced at almost 42 weeks. It was hard and would not want to go that route again. If I do have another, I want to try for a VBAC, or just schedule another Csection. Can't wait to see how your life is as a family of 4!

I had 3 scheduled c sections as well, many years ago. My youngest is 36. I think it's easier than waiting for labor to begin and going thru all that. It's the afterwards that hurts. She's been thru this before

I had 3 as well. First was an emergency one, and I chose the next two to avoid any of the complications I had with my first. It is scary, but I ended up with 3 healthy baby boys 🙂

Those last few moments with your first baby before you have your second.... I was so emotional. I had a scheduled c with my second as well. It was such a different experience & you have no idea what to expect but it was so much less terrifying than after my first emergency C-section. Take the time you need to heal though mama!
