I’m having a proud BC boy moment watching this video! Great work! I just finished reading Roderick Haig-Brown’s Fisherman’s Summer. He’d be proud of you all!👌🏻

This is laughably crazy. You guys have the production of big name companies and the personalities of veteran presenters. Certainly way higher quality than any of the big fishing company promotional videos. Great work!

Excellent video, really well produced! Beautiful cinematography. Haven't explored much of the Island, however coming back this year a couple times to hunt some fish. It's amazing getting to look at new areas and new possibilities. Incredible, special place. Thanks for that.

Awesome !!! I'd rather wait between shoots, and watch quality videos like this one as opposed to the " fishing video factory" so often on KZread. Keep up the great work guys :-)

Great film! Fishing in my backyard...if you ever want to try some serious salt water fly fishing for Salmon, come on a trip with me this season with Island Outfitters! I am a professional salt water guide for them, and a passionate fly fisherman as well. Would love to take you guys out on a charter and target some wild coho fresh in the ocean. I think you would have a blast!

HuyFishin it depends on what you’re fishing for. For Coho 8wt work great. For throwing streamers for browns and cutties 6wt is great. For nymphing you can use 3-4wt

Man-O-Man I seriously hope someone can answer this for me. Today is Sept 15/22 and I've been living in Tofino for the last 11 months ( I hail from Kelowna ) and ever since I got here, I haven't been able to find any places to fresh water fish in my belly boat using fly rod. Everything on the Islands seems to be more suited for ocean fishing. Could someone tell me where this vid is shot and what body of water it's on I'd really appreciate a heads up.. Thanks in advance and AWESOME video. I catch and release only.

Hi! Sorry, I won't share locations on the internet. However you should check out your local fly shops- they will be able to let you know where you should head to for your next adventure.

@@PavelFrancev I guided for many years and I can say that every now and then we landed some beautiful chrome Sean run browns of around 9-12lbs. Several of our southern east coast rivers saw them in the mid 1990’s. Totally different to the large golden hued Loch Levin or German browns we see in the Cowichan. I haven’t seen one for a long time but I always look forward to crossing paths with one . They are always totally incidental as we are targeting steelhead at those times . Cheers 🍻🙂
