hard boiled eggs - the staple of a carnivore diet - perfect every time in the instant pot - 5 minutes on high pressure; 5 minutes slow release - beautiful. Some say to put into an ice bath - I skip that but they always peel easily. I also love my instant pot for bone broth and making chuck roasts. Good luck!

Mitch ... I rent a room. Need to watch the amount watts I draw in electricity. The three qt instant pot will work because of its lower wattage. On the saute mode I cook sausage and hamburger . It is doable, but I can see by watching your video that the air fryer is mutch better. One thing that works for me is bone stock. A lb of ox tail and three chicken legs and a little salt cover in water , and 50 min of pressure. It is outstanding. I pull the meat off of the oxtail and add it back into the soup. Remember that if you pressure cook meat that it is a third water and it will steam it. Shredded beef sounds good as a pork skin dip. I love the juice in the bottom of a roast... want to see if beef gelatin will thicken it up as a gravy

Looks like a nice area Mitch, w/plenty to keep you active if you so choose. We also live in a very pleasant little community, although much smaller~ only about 80 year 'round residents, & the rest of the 200 or so only come in the winter months. We're in a very small town of about 5k all total, including the outlying areas. Our little community has a great swimming pool, a jacuzzi spa, pickleball courts, a library, banquet hall, gym, & an observatory~ which is an awesome feature that draws in folks from near & far. It's actually considered an RV Resort, though the back few streets are all permanent "park models", tiny houses of various configurations. We are blessed with wonderful people around us, though not many carnivores...yet. =) Fortunately, the get togethers & events here are always potluck & meat heavy, plus we bring our own meat & can even cook on the very large grills out by the cabanas. We're very comfortable here, & only spent a small amount on our little park model so it's allowed us to spend the bulk of our money on really good steak. =) Yes, small town life in AZ is quite pleasant. Thanks for sharing a bit of yours with us. The Whitson's

I don't think there's enough support to make it profitable. I can't imagine most people would go to a restaurant where they couldn't get side dishes and desserts. Most carnivores have to go out and eat with their friends who would not want to go to that kind of a restaurant. But basically most restaurants can be considered carnivore it's up to us to just avoid the stuff we don't want to eat

4 pool tables seems like overkill. They need foosball and pinball, at least. I'd buy a dryer, myself, but it's good to see you get out to the common area. I'm thinking of buying a meat slicer and dehydrator after just spending over a hundred bucks again on carnivore crisps. I eat them as a meal or with a meal, hardly ever as a snack. Do you have a dehydrator?

You don’t need gadgets. In fact you can consider just eating the meat raw or barely cooked on the outside if you worry about bacteria (although probably should not worry because if you read any of these virus books like Turtles All The Way Down you probably will wake up to the lies there showing that we were getting sick because we were being poisoned). Plus, if you eat raw, you can tear the meat with your hands and teeth and you may like it. I do… if not, you can go back to the gadgets I suppose and hope they don’t break down on you. Take care.

Oh and if you do the laundry less, we will have fewer microplastics from the fibers in the clothes and everything will be better for everyone if we can reduce that kind of silly pollution issue because I bet none of those machines in your clubhouse are actually filtered and collecting the particles generated but rather sending them out to the water treatment plant which also probably doesn’t handle them properly either.

@@OldGuyCarnivore It will probably become more normal after you've done meat for a few years. I'm at year 4. The steaks are always raw on the center and cold. Same as I was doing eggs before leaving the centers cold and liquid and just getting the outside cooked enough that I can remove them with a spoon and not lose any of the whites. Some folks do raw, but that leaves some of the eggwhite on the surface of the shell. Perhaps I'm trying to optimize for a different aspect of carnivore than you are, but I think it's always good to waste not, want not. And that applies to energy, cleaning, time and carnivore. Save your money or donate it to folks on your channel that do not have what you have.

If you read Turtles All the Way Down or Invisible Rainbow or any other terrain theory books (there are several if you follow Kaufman or Cowan) you will see that there is no way to get sick from what we eat. They have to poison us. So cooking is optional in my opinion and it would be great to see others confirm or offer examples of where that is not the case.
