on wizard you dont care about item rarity you care about the stats on the gear. hes running disgustingly good gear. almost all of his kit has +3 all attributes and +additonal magic damage he is insanely kitted.@@TheWentzMachine

@@xophidious248 yeah agree, hes actually running what COULD be considered illegal gear, since +3 to ALL has been removed from the game and the only way to get it was pieces of armor/weapons that had it prior to the nerf.

@@xophidious248 bruh i watched most of the vod most of this came from, he had one piece of +3 no dono gear. Dude topping the board with gear that was not even insane. Wiz is overtuned on scaling and Jay is OP.

The fact that a majority of melee classes can't do anything about wiz is pretty bad, but at least the devs have said they're focused on balancing it. Based on the underlying Buff% system I'm not sure how they can do your suggestion without creating a subclass of buff to put those spells in, but right now the game 100% needs to get slowed down. There's a reason accelerando, haste, and invis (why does this give movespeed??) are what is warping the balance.

Glad you can point out that a melee class needs to use a ranged option to deal with a wiz, thanks for solidifying my point. @qq-cf6lc Does choral need a change too? Sure. But to say accelerando isn't a problem is silly. Stacked repeatable move speed buffs is why these wizards (and barb buffballs) are able to invis completely past teams and blast from behind. They're just going to chug more clarity pots once choral is changed.

@@hsqqqaccelerando, and bard in general, is absolutely the problem. the raw numbers of the game need to be reduced by about 50%. after green green the game becomes a oneshot fest, and the fights become lame. no class should interact with other classes at all, let alone just exist to basically double the stats of your party members. having a guitar hero player on your team has become mandatory for any success

As a wiz player in hotfix 19, Cutting wiz buff duration makes sense. Except for invis which is already a low duration anyway or you could nerf invis on other people needing a player to stand still for it to continue invis.

High roller is in a really bad spot right now with spawn rushing and resetting. Largely to blame for by bard. Haste buff, clerity and tranquility are causing huge imbalance to the game. Ironmace says they want high intensity followed by down time of rest. But these three spells are just pure continuous intensity. It is leading to players spawn rushing others for leader board farming. You play within the rules of the game and grind the fun out of it for you and the people you kill. But this game lets us make wacky plays and decisions.

If you are looting in your spawn in HR, which some of these people are, you have asked for trouble, and sometimes it's going to answer. Especially on leaderboard drop. Secure your space before you loot. Playing poverty mode is death in HR.

You need 30 spell cap to run this build (36 knowledge) but he probably has double that, cause he's running in absolutely stacked gear.

If u play sneaky rogue u know were the sneaky rogue will be hiding makes playing wizard alot easier because rogue is the wizard counter along with ranger

I think the game automatically counts it as minus reputation if you kill your teammates, even accidentally. Jay plays so much that it's pretty much inevitable that his teammates will occasionally die to stray fireballs or zaps during frantic fights

This video showed a lot more personality than usual, with sneaky collabs and multiple 3rd player guests. Insane chain lightning. I don't mind the functionality in the game, but lightning would not usually behave like that? Maybe a different name would have struck me as more appropriate, balefire or something mythical. Cheers and thanks for the 20hr sprints

It is hitscan, but it comes out with a short delay after you release the spell I think, so you sort of have to make sure your aim is on them at the right time

Well watching the timestamp I said it does not appear that he was aiming on his model when he finished the spell either, it ends to the right of the model. To me it looks like a very fast projectile.

This is not the Jay content I enjoy...three man just rolling everyone isn't really that interesting to watch for me, but I guess that's what people like to see(?)

A lot of the fights are super intense when watching them live, I guess the KZread video isn’t as exciting but grinding leaderboards while making other content just wouldn’t be reasonable

Wiz, Bard and Barb need a serious nerf

Suggesting something that gets massively downvoted and then a year later is implemented and great for the game is a big mood lmao Teeechnically some classes to get lower buff durations because they have lower Will but it's barely noticeable. Could do with making the buff duration penalty a bit steeper at low Will and increase how much extra you get per point. Sort of like they nerfed naked by giving you negative damage reduction. That or they could reduce the base durations and increase the effect of will at higher amounts but it seems like they want to reduce the gear gap so the first option is more likely to happen.
