@@SeekYourTruth888 facts are Ray Lewis is way better than Ed Reed and Ed Reed wouldn’t be known as well as he is if it wasn’t for Ed Reed. Yes Ed Reed was better than other teams safeties except Shawn Taylor until he was murdered. No one had to be murdered for Ray Lewis to be the Best Defensive player at his position or in the league or or his era. Maybe even the best of All Time. Ed Reed isn’t in that discussion or on that level. He wasn’t even the best on his own team. Patrick Bulware and then Terrel Suggs with some Bart Scott and Heloti Nata (sp) all gave the Ravens their great Defense identity more than Ed Reed. Ed Reed was a nice bonus great D back to go along with what made the Ravens Defense all time great. The linebackers especially Lewis and then the D Line. The secondary was always its weakness of the Defense. Ed Reed was simply the only Defensive Back in the secondary that was great to go along with all the great linebackers and defensive lineman that made the Ravens defense great so that Ed Reed could really excel. His skills wouldn’t have been able to be shown off on a way lesser team without the Ravens core of LBs and D Line, and especially Ray Lewis. The greatest Raven of all time, the Best Defensive player of his Era. Period. Right there with Deion Sanders. Ed Reed is No Deion Sanders. Those defenses with Ed Reed and Ray Lewis were a problem and nothing to play with. They would give the Patriots fits, and this was during Brady’s prime. The 2012 AFC championship, the Ravens defense walked into Foxboro and steam rolled the Patriots en route to a Super Bowl championship.

Issue with Manning is he would pre-determine his throws. He was so smart that it normally worked, but at times he would make terrible decisions because he knew pre-snap who he was throwing the rock to. Ty Law burnt him several times for being too predictable

Manning's biggest downfall was his pre-determined throws. Dude would think 'well X should be open this play' and he would throw it, complete disregarding his teammates' health and/or which defender was playing and where. Ed reed was my favorite player growing up.
Ray Lewis was a beast, in my opinion he is the #1 GOAT all time linebacker.
Payton’s face says it all.
“This is a MAN’S game” 🗣️ - Ray Lewis
they had madden 08 lit 💪🏿
That mlb safety combo was ridiculous history wise.
The ed reed interception on Peyton was a masterpiece even belichick said one of the greatest plays he’s ever seen
Joey Porter said the same thing. When he ran his audible Joey figured he was running base plays just behind the distraction.
Peyton look like he reliving those games lol
My favorite is when Ray did this to Romo. Lol. Romo had no idea of what to do next.
“Whatcha know about me boy, I’m 2 0 E Reed boy, I’m the best DB boy, I’ll knock you off your feet boooyyyy!” -Ed Reed (Miami Hurricanes “Ballin Boys”)
Very intellectual players. Their greatest asset. Which made them HOF'ERS! Love'em both!!!
His "believe me" made me laugh so hard 😂😂
These were THE BEST GAMES, especially in prime time.
Love hearing football talk!
Suggs gets overlooked a lot but he will be in canton as well being the Ravens all time sack leader and a crucial part of that defense.
Peyton gets a lot of flak for having had to go against Rex Grossman in the SB but no one gives him credit for going through this Ravens team and then the Patriots. I still can’t believe they beat the Ravens to this day. One of the best defenses I’ve ever seen.
U can see in Peyton's eyes how much pain Ed and Ray gave him
AND LETS ALSO NOT FORGET THAT HALOTI NGATA WAS A BIG PART OF THAT DEFENSE WHEN HE CAME IN AS WELL
Aye even when he even hear ray name he still got a look on his face like he finna play em tm 😂😂
As a New Englander, even when our team was peaking…it was always scary to go up against that savage ravens defense. That group with ed reed and Ray Lewis was just built different.
It's crazy to think 2 of the best to ever play their respective position were on the field at the same time.

IDK if anyone remembers, but the Ravens were a penalty away from beating the Patriots the year they went undefeated. If it wasn't for the Pats, I truly believe the Ravens would have about 2 more rings.
