BIG COMMENT MENT FOR ALL THOSE WHO THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THESE 2 NEED TO DO. I can’t believe several of the comments I just read!!! Since when is it up to the viewers to decide what or which project Doug & Evee decide to work on today. STOP ASKING ARE YOU EVER GONNA FINISH YOUR HOUSE. It is so nice & completely livable.. STOP BUYING CARS & BUSES.. last time I checked it is their Hobby & Money NOT YOURS.. REALLY PEOPLE GET A FREAKING LIFE!!! It isn’t up to any of Us what these 2 adults do & when. Or what they spend their money on that is completely between the 2 of them. THEY HAVE NEVER & DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY. So why all the negative Nellie’s out there. FYI: I have been married 44 years & my husband NEVER FINISHES ANYTHING ON MY TIMELINE. IT TAKES SOME PROJECTS MONTHS OR YEARS IF IT EVER GETS COMPLETED. He is 65 & works A FULL TIME JOB 60-100 hours weekly STILL. He is a wonderful husband & provider so I just live & let live. If you have watched these 2 for anytime they do & complete so many projects together. How many of us can say the same. So my advice to all those who think they know what is best for Doug & Evee. Let us come inspect your home & finances & I can guarantee that you are a HOT MESS & probably live your life through others on the internet. GET OUTSIDE . GOD BLESS FROM WEST CENTRAL INDIANA FARMLAND

Obviously, it's content for the channel, but the fact they keep on truckin' on no matter the unexpected problems that come up, it's a testimony to their stick-tuit-ness on these things. It can be so hard to feel motivated when you're in deeper than you anticipated or wanted to be on a project. Hopefully their motivation can be contagious for us to catch. >>;=)

So glad you have that tractor! I was having flashbacks to you removing the lift in your other bus 😖 I’m sure it crossed your mind, too! It’s all an opportunity to put your skills to work. Nothing insurmountable. Just not the story you hoped for, but I’m here to see how the plot develops! Nice job.

Eevee and Doug never cease to amaze me! In spite of disappointment in the newest bus they accept and tackle the challenge without hesitation. It's like removing the wheelchair lift - although years apart they remembered details and made quick work of this removal. I must have missed a video. I was surprised by the tractor. Perfect for removing the lift from the bus. A perfect example of 'work smarter - not harder!'. The forks will be great for stacking and moving lumber. Such a practical investment.

Sideways comment: it is interesting that they are semi-junker car enthusiasts but contrary to many of these channels they only get top notch tools and new equipment such as the excavator and the small MF tractor with lift and belly mower. Other DIY channels show buying and rehabbing junker heavy machinery and heavy trucks.

If you don't sell the bus wheelchair lift, you could consider donating it to a worthy nonprofit such as The Arc, a senior citizen organization or a veterans organization. Most of them could really use a decent wheelchair lift and would probably come to pick it up. I worked for The Arc of St. Lucie Co in Florida for years and we appreciated donations such as that so we could transport our clients into the community. Just a thought. Love you guys Thank you for sharing your lives with us 😊

Our lives can be so exciting with each new adventure or different projects. I really hope this Summer you 2 have or will take the kids on a picnic even in your own back yard or to the beach & spent some special time camping, biking, hiking & just relaxing as a family. We do go out and have fun, but it's getting too hot now so we'll wait till fall to start having outings again. We don't like getting stuck in the hot sun all day. We went to the Jacksonville zoo and Busch gardens a little earlier this year too! Those were super fun and Maverick was big enough to get on a roller coaster! We plan on going to a theme park again this fall. Thank you so much!

You two should build a covered structure for your vehicles. Another channel that I watch started with two shipping containers with a space between them and built a roof over it all. That gave them storage inside the containers and covered space for vehicle storage as well as covered outdoor space to work.

🤔 Just an idea...the engine ran good, pull it and sale it. Seal all the leaks and make extra storage for future projects, furniture and roadside treasures!! Orrrrrrrr...a clubhouse for the kids!!!!

It's a lot of work but at least when you are finished with the bus, you'll have the comfort of knowing that you can trust the quality of the finished product. I'm sure that it will be better than it ever was by the time you're finished with it. See you in the next video. Have a good day! Bye kids 👋 Have fun!

Will you replace the lift or leave it out? I enjoy seeing y’all problem solve, and y’all’s stick-to-it-ness! ❤

We don't want the lift so we'll leave it out. It's just too heavy and makes too much noise when it rattles around. We'd rather just have the usable space.
