Bro, it’s a fire truck, it’s an emergency vehicle. They have to run a red light get to their emergency on time. That goes same thing for the ambulance and the police too. They can’t stop and wait. That’s the rules for the entire world, not just the country.

there is a thing called a (Opticom) it makes the fire engines traffic light green and the other 3 red so he can get to the 911 call faster. PS, I'm a volunteer. so yes he cant run a red light but, the Opticom makes it legal.

Some systems run off of certain siren tones to change the light green. But, lights and sirens are ONLY requesting right of way. They don’t automatically give you the right. Apparatus operators still have to use due regard for others safety. Today’s society and tech advances cause drivers to be oblivious to what’s going on around them.

@@hydont8854 Several idiots got big awards. They got hit by an emergency vehicle. EVs now stop for red lights and stop signs. They slow down for a green. A Broward County Deputy Sheriff was squaking, had a green light and the roof lights flashing. A woman ran the light. A jury gave her US $9.4?? million. Like all other cases like this, appealing is useless.

Alot of Fire Trucks and traffic lights have sensors that turn the traffic light red in all directions. Was probably red the other way too.

In Florida,US they stop for red light and stop signs. If some idiot drives out in front of any emergency vehicle and are hit, they become Instant Winners on the Florida Lottery. One woman got US $9.4+ million from a sheriff's department. All appealed awards are upheld.
