i hit legend with it pretty comfortably last season, but in this season it blew up in my face

Man, some of these guys need to learn when to top left. Talonflame locked vs bastiodon and azu locked vs trevenant - zyonik’s app could have crashed 3 times and he’s still winning

I like using Bastiodon because it has relatively few neutral matchups. Makes it super easy to plan alignment.

During the Fosil event last year, I picked up a Hundo Bastiodon and my God it's an amazing Pokemon.

Been having a load of fun seeing this team lately. I've gained around 400points in a few days with Skarmory, Umbreon and Obstructagoon in the back with 2 shields. It's stupidly fun

I have been seeing so many Basti's on teams right now its disgusting. Made me switch to Hydro Pump on my Azu for that surprise factor

I always appreciate the videos, but this would be SO much better if it showed how to handle Gfisk, Azumarill, Trev mirror, Goon/Scrafty, and Nidoqueen/Drapion leads.

It's soooo hard to built XL Bastiodon but if you're able, trust that it's worth it. I've actually beaten Swamperts with 1HP and a dream before!

How much of a difference does a lvl 50 xl basti and lvl 40 non xl basti make though ? I need a basti but I do not have enough XL candies what should I go for?

I have 1 but not enough candies to double charge move it n level up

Thoughts on using shadow Drapion

I haven't played pvp for ages. Dropped it back when massive lag and cheater shields and stuff like that were a thing. I started up again two days ago. Just made a really generic meta team with Galarian stunfisk, Azumarill and Trevenant. So far i have played 65 games and won 61.

The pits are wild

You talked about basti not being xl. Does size really matter? Because for some weird reasons, all my pokemons are xs

@@RaahulSawant the max level you can bring up any mon without XL candies is level 40. To reach level 50 you need to invest XL candies and stardust (lots of it).

@@moickjs2975 well if you max basti to level 50, it's gonna go above 1500. That's what I meant when I was talking about level 38. 😌 I don't think it's possible to use XL candies on bastidion. Unless I really don't understand this xl candy concept and level concept. Please do reply if I'm wrong, i need to learn.

@@RaahulSawant Depending on the IV's of a pokemon, its very much possible to power up a pokemon to level 50 with xl candies. For example a far more defensive stat weighted Bastiodon, with IVs of 0/13/15, would be able to be powered up to a higher level. Zyonik's current Bastiodon couldn't be powered up further than it is without going past 1500 cp. However, a different Bastiodon, one without high attack IVS doesn't get to around 1500 cp until its near level 50.

Also if Azumarill switches out of the bastiodon match up 9/10 it means the azumarill is using ice beam play rough and in that case bastiodon wins

I dont really understand what you mean by bastiodon is not an XL, he is as close to 1500 cp as possible, what is the difference?

If you power up a Bastiodon with Low Attack IV and High Defense/HP IVs, it will be able to power up beyond level 40 (using XL Candy). this makes it bulkier and harder to take down.

Yesterday I was using Medi, grimer, aurorus, but pawniard is also fun in the back. Probably not a team for climbing as HSH would say

I've beat two gstuns with this team. 5-0 since trying

"The meta hasn't respected Bastiodon" I'm happy to not keep up with the top end meta if it means having strong bastiodon coverage all round. Losing to cookie cutter meta team=sad. Losing to bastiodon=shame upon my family and ancestors.

Run foul play trev it gives some play against the normal types in end game and wins trev mirrors

I tried this team and went 5-20 Yes I lost 20 battles 😮‍💨
