I would probably bend it on the first cut. Thanks for all you have taught me about climbing. I wish I could have learned it long ago but happy I know it now. I 'll try to pass it on to someone else.

Thank you for the motivation. I’m just getting back into tree work. I live in Tennessee now but I grew up in your neck of the woods. I went to IVHS in Cave Junction, OR. And I was a spc. at the National Guard armory in Merlin. I miss that area.

August, what a great tip on the rigging line attached to the bridge idea. All these years of technical rigging (I have serial number 4 on my first GRCS) and I’ve never thought of that. If anything it’s just out of the way and totally within reach all at the same time. Thank you!

@Tree Man I don't climb. I'm a commercial roofer. Highest building 200 Feet, but there is really no comparison danger wise to tree work.
