“And if you peal here and only here, you get the true essence of banana” I love Joe 😂
When I think of Taskmaster I think of pineapples, rubber ducks, coconuts, eggs… I didn’t realise the old soft curved padlock was such a staple!

Don’t forget the Leaf Blower.
We need a yoghurt compilation: Ardal getting some yoghurt to soothe his beaten skin, Mark and Nish's big splat, Charlotte building a topple, kick a yoghurt at a target etc
The old frozen banana in a bottle game - love it ❤
Jamali really didn’t like smug Alex 🤣

Jamali is probably my favorite adversarial relationship Alex has had on the show. This task in particular cracks me up.

Judy is so iconic🤣✨
How did Noel make himself look really small so that he looked like a banana in the bowl? Some sort of editing trick but how did it work?

I heard it on a podcast, they actually physically shrank him down to the size of a banana for this segment. There were some technical problems restoring him to full size and they had to delay the studio recording for a few weeks while they worked on it. He’s still 2 inches shorter than he used to be.
Katherine's rant is even better when you consider that she was already winning the series, and would've needed to get last AND Jon Richardson get 1st on that task in order for her not to win the series. But I guess the outburst makes good TV.

I worked this out a while ago and if she got disqualified, Jon would have gone up from 2 to 3 points and Katherine would be 3 down, so they would have ended up tied.
banana is a herb, not a fruit Alex 🍌

While the plant itself is a herb, the banana is a fruit. Botanically, it's classified as a berry because it develops from a flower and contains seeds.

...and yet, still a loser...stay in school princess, and give the electronic device back to your mum.
I don't see why learning to tie a tie would be a gender based issue. Either you learn to tie one as part of your school uniform or you never bother to learn - male or female, you will be in the same situation regardless. Maybe you could make an argument about military service, but women have to wear ties for full dress uniforms too so it's the same situation all over again. Yeah, fewer women join up, but 1) That's their choice. Nothing's stopping them from choosing a military career and 2) Only about 1 in 700 men undertake any form of military service in their lives so it's not exactly a common choice amongst men either

Katherine Ryan is Canadian-Irish and grew up in Ontario. Most Canadian public schools (including those in Ontario) don't have mandatory uniforms. Dress codes, yes, but not school uniforms. And the standard "fancy" or "dressed-up" outfit for a woman would not typically have a tie. The only reason for her to have needed to learn is either to wear one herself (which would be a personal style choice and nothing more) or to do it for someone else. So, yes, it makes perfect sense for her to be the only one to not know how to tie a tie, because they're is literally no reason for her to have needed that skill growing up and living in Canada. I will add, that even if she didn't know how to tie a tie (for reasons stated above), she still could have put the tie on because it was already tied. None of the competitors actually had to tie it, just tighten it around their neck. Katherine could have received a crash course on how to do this, because its just pulling it into place. Regardless, my above comment still stands.

What an idiotic response. Women don’t learn to tie ties to wear for formal events like men do, school uniform or not. Why you’re focused on school uniforms is asinine.

You appear to have forgotten about office jobs- men will almost always wear a tie, women won't. In schools, you only really wear a tie at secondary, where most the people I knew just loosened them and tightened them as they simply never learned. Also, Katherine is Canadian, they typically don't have a school uniform.
