This game always looked like it COULD be cool in spite of it's other crap. Sounds like it kind of is

I’m playing through now. I haven’t even gotten the second set of moves, and it’s so much fun.

I'm playing this game for the first time, it's not perfect.It's not that bad.People expecting the last of us God of war performance and story

The price set the expectations. 15 hours of game play set the price range too.

I played it. It’s not like amazing by any measure but it’s fine. It’s not terrible, not great, just fine.

The sequel can be great..but I don't know if the developers has the courage. New IP...full price, 15 hours of game play. The damage is done.

I already platinum and dlc 100% too this game 2 years ago. This games greatly

The gameplay was pretty decent. You can feel it had the soul of FF15 at its core. I lost interest in the story pretty fast though. It's okay if you can get it on a deep sale. Less than $20 is a good price for it. Funny considering it was Square's first $70 game.

Yeah I paid $30 and I wouldn't pay more than that. And I completely agree that you can tell the FF15 people worked on this as it has as a LOT of that game's feel around movement!

Excuse me, I have a question. Why can I only reach LV.15? Is there something I haven't done?

For ten bucks? If you like open world games I'd say go for it

Game got rekt by unjustified hate in my opinion sure its no masterpiece but isn't the monstrosity people made it to be.

If you think about it people probably hate the game because it had so much potential and needed so little to be great. Maybe don't make insufferable characters? Maybe don't hide the fun behind hours of unnecessary intro? Maybe don't follow Ubisoft's tired example for open world design? It needed to be less to be great, not more. If this game was just trash people wouldn't even bother. This is a game ruined by management politics which makes it sad.

Yeah I can see how people would be disappointed by it. It has some really neat ideas kneecapped by some absolutely baffling design decisions.

How is this not on PS Plus yet.

They made all the trash mobs way to tanky that it becomes grueling and tedious to have to constantly kill 50+ enemy mobs . Would have been more fun to have all those hundreds and hundreds of trash mobs melt under your attacks, instead your attacks just minutely chip away at their health and it becomes an ordeal to have to kill them all

3 minutes...is long enough to who know what a game should be. Amazing resume. Time is money.

That's where I don't agree with the maybe consider mentality. I got lulled into it by reddit, I personally don't think its a good game by any means but even if i were to consider your review because its mediocre, im wasting my time not playing games that are genuinely much better. There are greater games and you shouldn't lower your expectations for mediocrity. The industry should release much better games than us being okay with them being mediocre because at the end we are paying for it.

I got it 2nd hand for $18. I generally ignore reviews and make my own mind up based on watching KZread clips of the game and if it looks like something I will enjoy, I'll play it. I don't regret it one bit, 25 hours in and I'm having a blast with it. It's a 7.5/10 game for me, it's kept me interested and playing for longer than skyrim, horizon forbidden west, fallout 4 and ghost of tsushima managed so it's doing something right.
