Wish all the people in this comment section could just have a big 2014 throw back party together. I believe with every fiber in my body that not only was this time better for all of us but the world was just a happier place… there was more color, it smelled different, the music was so happy, summer days were longer, winters had more snow, people were friendlier…. I physically felt different…. I’m 27 now and I’m just sitting here wishing I could tell myself 10 years ago that this is it… this is the best things will ever be for you before the absolute bull shit of everyday adult life starts chipping away at you every day until you die. What I would give to be back between 2012 and 2015. What I would give. I know no one is this comment section but love you all❤️

I was 26 in 2014 and I agree completely. The first half of the 2010s were incredible. I liked them more than the 00s and now. There was this optimism that things were on the right track and self-improvement was the trend. Even as an independent adult already at that time, the responsibilities didn't feel as heavy. But with how cyclical things are, I have hope that there will be brighter times again in the future.

Everyone that sees this, always remeber, we can bring this era back, everyone needs to work together to bring this music back to the social platforms, lets move away from the gang stuff and live life like it was back in 2014, we as humans have that ability to change, even if it means just sitting on your back porch sparking a joint staring into the sky blasting this music and just wishing we were still in that age we all know and loved❤❤

2014/2015 were the pinnacle years of my life. back then everything was a lot more simple and enjoyable, i had some of the best people i ever met as my closest friends, i graduated high school, started seeing a girl i was crushing on at the time, aced all my grades and had a part-time job i loved doing. i had everything i ever dreamed of during those days, and if i could, i'd do anything to go back and relive those years at least one more time.

Words can’t describe how nostalgic this makes me feel. Every single song takes me back to those times. I am forever grateful for having lived my teen years during that period. If I could, I’d do it all over again. Sometimes I just close my eyes and pretend I’m reliving a memory from 2014

I was 6-7 back then and now im 16 and still remember these and enjoy listening to them

Same. But for me I mostly miss my youth. I was young and cooler back then, I was only a teen, yet I had long silky black hair. I was shorter than I am now too but damn was I still swagging around in school. Now that I’m getting older, I feel lame, old and just gross… i still look young, but deep inside I feel old

2019 was the best year ever!! And I agree completely with that you said. Before 2020 (and I can say even before 2021), I was happy every day. Maybe I’d be sad on a certain day but that would only last like a couple minutes. Now I just have so much stress and worries and I’m sad all the time. I’d do anything to go back to those moments

I am now a mother to as I cannot even begin to imagine the immense pain that you have less gone through and dealing with right now a year I was 19 going on 20 and I did not have kids yet, but I remember I was dating someone that was born that year your son would have been 26 at this point, like I said, I may not understand but my heart is with you again I’m so sorry❤

Music used to hit different life used to be more alive and feelingful “ word i just made up “

2015: My six best friends and I where all dancing full of joy and bright eyes happy we all graduated singing these songs together. 2021: I'm once again reminded why I struggle to finish these song as much as I love it. Because one of those dear six friends is no longer with us. Last year, a bullet took his life. His birthday is coming up soon and my friends and I are going to pay our respects. I'm trying my hardest to get through this song. But I'll stay strong and smile for him, it's what he would want. Until my time comes I'll wait for him to carry me home, but tonight, WE ARE YOUNG. 💗 Cherish your friends everyday, because you'll never know when it'll finally be time to say goodbye. But remember, death is not the end, but a start. To a bright and better everlasting future.
