I got to experience 80s condos in the early 90s we went on a vacation and it wasn't remodeled yet. memories good times with family.

It's 1985 and I don't exist yet. Feels good.

Starting right off the bat with Waterfront Dining, and including the greats such as Tupperwave, Bodyline and vcr-classique-you immediately captured the mood! Spot on as always. I've been a fan since "It's sunset in 1991 and you're on AOL" and now I'm hooked.

It's 1985 and I'm sitting in front of my Atari ST computer listening to this awesome mix tape.

This is the kind of soothing music I’d expect to hear in Miami circa 1989. Has a lot of Miami Vice feel to it. Literally the most calming thing!

This makes me picture myself on a long drive to somewhere warm and beautiful, cruising through a cityscape, just me enjoying life with the sun overhead and dreams in my heart. Now that I’m an adult and stepping into the “real world”, everything just seems to be getting more and more dark. We need more music like this that can make us feel carefree again 💕

"Time was better before" Hell yes it was! Thats why nostalgia exist.

The year is 1987, August 14th, the place is a beach condo on the south side of Florida, facing the Keys, time... about 8:19am. It's a double-booking, but I am alone. Music was still unplayed on my radio's cassette player, some of the songs still too close to the heart. I thought after two years time, I'd have moved on, but I guess I was wrong. The small round stone you gave me on the beach that day sits on one side of that king-size I hadn't touched yet, having slept in the next room on the couch. The sun makes a white heaven of the skies outside above a sapphire field of sparkling water, like those jewels that were your eyes. Two years time. I light up a Mazzerucci Royale from my pack, the one I'd left hidden here last year. My hands shake a little as I inhale that smoke, the cigarettes had been in your purse that nite, when we'd driven back to get them and wound up staying over in the hospital, only one of us left the next morning. It might not ever stop hurting... but I'll know that there was love there, however brief and silly it might've seemed. It was, and it still is, and I'll never forget that time we had. I love you, Sabrina, and I always will. Five more months, and it'll be 3 years. Maybe I'll press play on that tape this year, and quit embarrassing the both of us with that dumb shyness you brought out of me.

This is really a masterpiece of nostalgia although I wasn't born at 1985 this reminds me to old days when we weren't so collapsed of information and technology about the cruelty of the world around...

Cruelty has always existed but back then people didn't have cellphones and social media. KZread didn't even exist until much later. I've been using it since 2006 but didn't have an account until later on.

It's 1985 and two people on full time minimum wage salaries can have a small suburban house paid within 10~15 years, while having two kids, and it's not a big deal

This is the perfect music for when you are eating breakfast ready to go to the beach, but meanwhile you are sitting at the sofa watching some tv or reading a magazine/book.

It's 1985 and i'm at beach condo sitting in front of my 68000, C++ has just appeared and i'm learning it while listening to this great mix in the background ... There's something called (TASTE), and you got it

All I want is a beach condo.... and those who claim to "own" the world, only want to exploit my life in exchange......

Wow so pretty, it's like going to a magical place. Never too hot or too cold, just nice and breezy. You know you're in a town so it doesn't have that creepy isolation vibe but no one is bothering you so no social anxiety. It's like a place in the movies. It's like being alone together
