Not sure why all of the negative comments but as a mom of driving age kids, I honestly never considered having to teach the difference until now. I have always been with them when teaching how to put gas in the car, and never thought to mention what not to use, but please believe now I will. So thanks for sharing. This was a teachable moment for me too.

When you are young you don’t think too much about how hard is grind and make money so when he get his car or whatever he buys by working he is going to see how important is to take care of things i say it with all respect because i made mistakes too ❤

I accidentally put a gallon and a half of gas in my first Audi Q7 TDI diesel and I was 60 years old so don’t let them beat you up to bad. If you didn’t run it you should be fine. Little smoke, plenty of lubrication. Run a couple tanks of non ethanol non oxygenated through it. Sounds like he’s destined for a couple years on a bicycle. Safer

When I started driving, I almost put diesel in my new car because it was cheaper and those pumps were always available at the gas station. I'm a researcher and wondered why there weren't as many diesel pumps available as the regular pumps and why no one else was using the diesel pumps so I didn't either. I asked my mother and she said something like don't use diesel its for tractor trailer trucks and it will damage the car for good. I told my daughter the same when she started driving.

Did he blame gas being in "ghetto neighborhoods" as a young black man he should not feel so uppity! He might need that ghetto neighborhood to advocate for him. That comment really irked me. The way he said it! Wake up call is coming. Especially the daughter so mad that a man talked to them. Literally not threatening but she assumed he had a gun? And then the comment that "they should have stayed in the suburbs". Yet your suburban self didn't know how to put gas in the car. The parents laughing and not correcting their negative uppity attitude is sad! Smh! They'll get their wake up call!! They all do!!
