If anyone reading my comment is considering joining this religion, PLEASE do your research. Do not go strictly off of what those wanting you to join are recommending you read, use your critical thinking skills and take in information from all sides. I was raised in this religion and it was all I knew from birth. I’m now 40+ years old and had I known then what I had to lose my family and friends to know now, I would’ve never, ever joined this religion. Any religion that, after you’ve baptized yourself into, will actively pursue removing you from within the congregation for asking questions about the religions past that you only recently found out or a religion that actively lies to its members/publishers/adherents just to maintain an image of being “clean” when in fact it’s got some of the most shameful secrets of most religions, that is one you should do everything within your power to run from. Please! If I told you that 30k people died yesterday from following the direction from the faithful slave or leaders of this religion, would that raise your eyebrows? Sure it would, but that number didn’t die in one day, it was over many years because those innocent people believed the direction they were taught that it’s a sin to accept blood transfusions to save one’s life. It’s not btw, read the scriptures they say it is WITHIN THE CONTEXT THEY WERE WRITTEN. Ask the person who’s wanting you to study the Bible with them about the two witness rule in regards to child abuse. I’m just trying to say, please, please, please do your research about this religion. Inform yourself, I’m begging you.

Beware of mocking apostates as some may comment on this video, they are also known to publish literature that resorts to distortions, half-truths, and outright falsehood. They even picket Witness conventions, trying to trap the unwary., it would be a dangerous thing to allow our curiosity to move us to feed on such writings or to listen to their abusive speech! While we might not think it a risk for us personally, the hazard remains. Why? For one thing, some of the apostate literature presents falsehoods by means of “smooth talk” and “counterfeit words.” (Romans 16:17, 18; 2 Peter 2:3) What would you expect from the table of demons? And while the apostates may also present certain facts, these are usually taken out of context with the goal of drawing others away from the table of Jehovah. All their writings simply criticize and tear down! Nothing is up building. “Avoid them,” says God’s Word. Other translations render that phrase “turn away from them,” “keep away from them,” and “stay away from them!” There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel. Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contact with someone who is infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning. Well, apostates are “mentally diseased,” and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we determined to heed his warning in all respects? Apostates “quietly bring in” corruptive ideas. Like smugglers, they operate in a clandestine manner, subtly introducing apostate views. And just as a clever forger tries to pass phony documents, so apostates use “counterfeit words,” or false arguments, trying to pass their fabricated views as if they were true. They spread “deceptive teachings,” “twisting . . . the Scriptures” to fit their own ideas. Jesus Christ had foretold, the apostasy did not take in the entire body of Christians; the true, loyal ones were to be as “wheat” associated with “weeds.” After Christ’s second presence begins, invisible, in spirit, and during “the conclusion of the system of things” (then existing) a clear separation and demarcation was to be made evident. The “weeds,” “the sons of the wicked one,” were to be ‘collected out of the kingdom of the Son of man.’ This cleaning out of the true Christian congregation would leave a field of clean wheat; the false imitation Christians would be outside the true Christian congregation. Whereas the ‘weed-like’ ones would finally be pitched into the “fiery furnace,” the ‘wheat-like’ ones would “shine as brightly as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” (Matt. 13:24-30, 37-43) This definitely pointed to the concluding portion of the system of things under Satan’s wicked rule preceding its destruction. The prophetic illustration of Jesus also showed that time had to pass before the ‘weed-like’ ones would become fully manifest, finally to be destroyed. Since the apostles knew this, their use of “last days,” “last hour” and like expressions in connection with the apostasy did not mean that they expected Jesus’ second presence and the subsequent destruction of the ungodly right away. Let no man seduce you in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction.”-2 Thess. 2:1-3.

When a man in Corinth was unrepentantly immoral, Paul told the congregation:: “Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortion, not even eating with such a man.”-1 Corinthians 5:11. Is this Bible law harsh and demeaning? Just consider this: When a hardened criminal is sent to prison for breaking the law, is that viewed as harsh or coldhearted? No, because the public has the right to safeguard the peace and security of the community. In effect, the criminal is disfellowshipped from law-abiding society during his prison term. Similarly, the Christian congregation is justified in expelling unrepentant wrongdoers from their midst. Why? Because the congregation must be a haven from immoral predators and other willful practices of sin. Realizing that “one sinner can destroy much good,” the apostle Paul commanded fellow believers: “Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.” (Ecclesiastes 9:18; 1 Corinthians 5:13) This action prevents the sinner from spreading corruption in the congregation, and it protects the congregation’s good name.-Compare 1 Timothy 3:15. The same was to occur with apostates, such as Hymenaeus: “As for a man that promotes a sect, reject him after a first and a second admonition; knowing that such a man has been turned out of the way and is sinning.” (Titus 3:10, 11; 1 Timothy 1:19, 20) Such shunning would be appropriate, too, for anyone who rejects the congregation: “They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort.”-1 John 2:18, 19.

@alexshatner3907 I've read that silly stuff in the Watchtower literature before. What nonsense it is. Jehovah's Witnesses completely cut off people for offences that are not even mentioned in the bible. It's not true that they are all unrepentant practicers of gross sin or immorality. It's slanderous, and a LIE. to suggest otherwise, not to mention, very unloving. There's no biblical basis for the three man interrogation called a judicial committee meeting, nor for the horrendous and humiliating reinstatement process, which breaks people. Show me in the bible where these are. You can't. They're NOT THERE . The JWs practice an extreme and unwarranted form of shunning . They interpret and apply scriptures inconsistently. In one verse used for "marking", withdrawing from, or "not associating with", does NOT mean to shun, but they say the same expression used elsewhere means to hard out shun. Shunning kills people. Get it right.

Your religion has taught a twisted interpretation of many Bible scriptures they have also removed and added words in their own printed Bibles to fit their own teachings and separate Jehovah and Christ as separate beings . Such as the power of 3 men, which are elders to decide who is unsuitable to associate with and who is suitable is total unbiblical. That scripture is speaking to PEOPLE in the congregation, not the power postions of 3 men. Disfellowshipping a person out of your life is a personal choice of prayer, and the eating with people at your table was a custom as common as a greeting and hand shake in Jesus's time. You read the LIST of what makes a person unclean in behavior to distance yourself, and many, many people have been expelled for personal choices not listed in that Bible Verse as unclean at the choice of 3 men in power to tear apart others. Example taking a job that is connected to the military, smoking some for not agreeing or calling out an elder as wrong. The public knows this as Jehovah's Wittnesses are one of the most high risk religions against children as they don't expell all child molesters nor do they alert other members that a admitted child molester is in their mist to protect their children and even in cases of rape the laws are not followed and the person reported to law enforcement. Court law suits and the Australian Commission have proven that fact that Jehovah Wittnesses are. not Biblical nor loving Christians. It is based on twisted scriptures from their edited Bibles translated in the 1950s? so if a JW person no longer believes that these JW teachings are Biblical and from God through ONLY, these select men in New York, yet the person has not committed any outward sin listed in the scripture you quoted they will be Disfellowshiped??? A statement saying they are having a personal relationship and trusting in God alone and his Holy Spirit to teach and lead not a select few men who claim to be the spokesman of God on earth this person is now shunned, removed and isolated from blood family and all other members? That is so unbiblical in many scriptures, even teaching of non judging and the sermons of love by Jesus. You are in the false prophets in sheep's clothing. Jesus warned us about having a false Christ and haters of the cross.

The best is no Christian religion or background to recruit members to slave for this publicating company that is a billion dollar real estate business. They are not open to a true Bible discussion or Bible translations. They dismiss anyone because they don't seek God's truth but recruits. They love to argue as this man did, but only with those who have no Biblical knowledge or training or education who can defuse the lies of this publishing company with scripture and then they run and move on. Their truth and GOD is the Watchtower, and those leaders take the place of Christ as they follow them even through changing light constantly. They only seek and worship man made leaders, not God. Jesus warned us about these groups coming in the last days before his return, having false Christ and a false message that would deceive MANY.

@kd1 A wise individual once said while trying to expose Jehovahs Witnesses. You'll be exposing yourself as the false prophet, and they were absolutely correct." Your relationship with Jesus is fraudulent , fake, and phony. Your version of following Jesus comes from you following the world. Using mere useless words rather than showing actions. The fact that you don't know the real truth about Jehovahs Witnesses proves that. Jesus was talking about Jehovah when he said they would hate you just as they hated me. Jehovahs Witnesses are hated because their service to Jesus is shown, and you and many others can't take that because ya'll hate the truth. If Jehovahs Witnesses didn't have the truth, you wouldn't be so hurt. You can write a dictionary pretending to love Jesus. But your actions say otherwise. Everything you posted, you need to apply it to yourself. Jesus would never stalk a page only to judge and talk and preach falsely. Your issue isn't with Jehovahs Witnesses but Jesus himself. I can see you know nothing about cults, a cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God’s Word, and Jehovah’s Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They live and work in the midst of other people. How old is the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses? According to the Bible, the line of witnesses of Jehovah reaches back to faithful Abel. Hebrews 11:4-12:1 says: “By faith Abel offered God a sacrifice of greater worth than Cain . . . By faith Noah, after being given divine warning of things not yet beheld, showed godly fear . . . By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed in going out into a place he was destined to receive as an inheritance . . . By faith Moses, when grown up, refused to be called the son of the daughter of Pharaoh, choosing to be ill-treated with the people of God rather than to have the temporary enjoyment of sin . . . So, then, because we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” With reference to Jesus Christ, the Bible states: “These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God.” Of whom was he a witness? He himself said that he made his Father’s name manifest. He was the foremost witness of Jehovah.-Rev. 3:14; John 17:6. Interestingly, some of the Jews asked whether the activity of Jesus Christ represented “a new teaching.” (Mark 1:27) Later, some Greeks thought the apostle Paul was introducing a “new teaching.” (Acts 17:19, 20) It was new to the ears of those who were hearing it, but the important thing was that it was the truth, in full harmony with God’s Word. The modern-day history of Jehovah’s Witnesses began with the forming of a group for Bible study in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., in the early 1870’s. At first they were known only as Bible Students, but in 1931 they adopted the Scriptural name Jehovah’s Witnesses. (Isa. 43:10-12) Their beliefs and practices are not new but are a restoration of first-century Christianity. Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one? The Bible does not agree with the modern view that there are many acceptable ways to worship God. Ephesians 4:5 says there is “one Lord, one faith.” Jesus stated: “Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. . . . Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.”-Matt. 7:13, 14, 21; see also 1 Corinthians 1:10. Repeatedly the Scriptures refer to the body of true Christian teachings as “the truth,” and Christianity is spoken of as “the way of the truth.” (1 Tim. 3:15; 2 John 1; 2 Pet. 2:2) Because Jehovah’s Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God’s Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth. So their position is not egotistical but demonstrates their confidence that the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one’s religion. They are not self-centered but are eager to share their beliefs with others. Do not other religions also follow the Bible? Many use it to some extent. But do they really teach and practice what it contains? Consider: (1) From most of their Bible translations they have removed the name of the true God thousands of times. (2) The Trinity doctrine, their concept of God himself, is borrowed from pagan sources and was developed in its present form centuries after Bible writing was completed. (3) Their belief in immortality of the human soul as the basis for continued life is not taken from the Bible; it has roots in ancient Babylon. (4) The theme of Jesus’ preaching was the Kingdom of God, and he sent his disciples out to talk personally to others about it; but the churches today seldom mention that Kingdom and their members are not doing the work of preaching “this good news of the kingdom.” (Matt. 24:14) (5) Jesus said that his true followers could be readily identified by their self-sacrificing love for one another. Is that true of the religions of Christendom when the nations go to war? (6) The Bible says that Christ’s disciples would be no part of the world, and it warns that whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God; but the churches of Christendom and their members are deeply involved in the political affairs of the nations. (Jas. 4:4) In view of such a record, can it honestly be said that they really adhere to the Bible?

@@alexshatner3907 Jw cult does follow living human leaders, the governing body. They are the end all be all of rules for the JW. You are punished for questioning the religion, you are punished for talking to people who left the religion, you are cut off from believing family members if you leave. How is this not cult like? Jehovah isn't even God's name, it is the combination of adonai and YHWH. Adonai is lord, which JW state is the mistake made by replacing God's name. So you accept using Adonai instead of YHWH is a grave sin, but then use the name where adonai was inserted. All the false prophecies from 1914, 1925, 1975 were marketed as "old light" instead of mistakes or flat out lies. One minute the generation of 1914 were never supposed to die, now that is no longer the case and again is labeled "old light". Question it tho and you end up in a judicial committee meeting. JW added rules that were never stated like not celebrating birthdays,no beards, not tight pants, no after school activites, no close friends that are not JW, no dating outside of the religion. It is a cult. You are adding rules and breaking the bibles law of not adding or taking anything away from the bible. The 144,000 scripture, you only take the number literally. You don't think they are virgins, or of any of those tribes of Israel, so you are essentially erasing those words as non meaningful in any way.

Those who criticize things, who give false information and half-truths about Jehovah's people. They themselves are not united, they are divided from different religions and like the devil, some of them were in the truth but they did not stand firmly in the truth. Because of their ambitions and seeking greatness, they rebelled and became apostates (John 8:44). They also do not live a Christian life, they do not live according to the Bible standards, they use foul language, they are racist they support immoral acts such as homaul sexuality, they involve themselves in the politics and wars of this world (Galatians 5: 19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 Romans 12:18-21) They do not advertise about the kingdom of God nor do they help people understand that the kingdom of God is the solution to their problems (Matthew 6:9; 24:14) Daniel 2:44, Revelation 21:3,4) They are jealous of the true worshipers of Jehovah that is why They want to silence Jehovah's people. They want to eliminate pure worship but they will not succeed. They have tried for many years to persecute them and use various methods to stop pure worship but they have failed. We are sure of this: No weapon formed against you will have any success, And you will condemn any tongue that rises up against you in the judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, And their righteousness is from me,” declares Jehovah. - Isaiah 54:17 Pure worship belongs to Jehovah. He is the one who has set it in the earth as it is in heaven. All those who want to stop pure worship are fighting with God, and they will definitely not win.

The figures speak for themselves, the number of baptisms has been falling for several years. 2019: 303,866 Baptisms / 8,683,117 JW 2020: 241,994 Baptisms / 8,695,808 JW 2021: 171,393 Baptisms / 8,686,980 JW 2022: 145,552 Baptisms / 8,699,048 JW Where have the more than 800,000 new Jehovah's Witnesses gone? The total number of Jehovah's Witnesses in the world has increased by barely 16,000 in 4 years, or only 4,000 new Jehovah's Witnesses each year in the world, despite the billions of hours of preaching. This preaching has become ridiculous because totally sterile. Today, more and more of us are leaving this cult out of conviction. In five years, more than a million Jehovah's Witnesses have already left this American society, which is why today the worldwide activism of the EXJW has become the most active, the most numerous, and the most dynamic “religious” dissent in the world. A company whose growth continues to decline is inexorably doomed to bankruptcy. Billions of hours of preaching will be for naught. Today this preaching no longer produces anything. It is very rare to see a new face in a kingdom hall. To artificially compensate for the lack of candidates for baptism, the Watchtower is forced to use the last children born in this apocalyptic cult and finally throw them into the basin.

Beware of mocking apostates as some may make negative comments on this video, they are also known to publish literature that resorts to distortions, half-truths, and outright falsehood. 2:1-3

How can anyone have a calm conversation with a group that claims to have the true gospel yet they measured a PAGAN Egyptian tomb the hidden chambers of false God's to come up with the date Jesus returned INVISIBLE to the earth and revelation of this is NOT in the Bible but whispered in the leaders ear of those at the Watchtower organization? You measured a Pagan Egyptian pyramid to determine the return of Christ INVISIBLY? You edit words out of your Bible and changed words even have verses missing in your Bible made in the 1950s?
