I loved the video and Dawn, you showed complete respect throughout. I'm sure this estate sale was advertised. Maybe the woman who passed put her house up for sale years ago? Maybe one of the family purchased the house from her years ago? Maybe the woman loved her family so much that she let them go through the estate several times to pick out anything they wanted. I don't think those answers are for us to know. I think that this is not the first home to have a sale of a deceased person's items??? (Sarcastic) Also, who knows how many jewelry pieces I own came from someone deceased? (Items that I purchased from e-bay and yard sales?) I wear them proudly and always say a prayer for whoever owned the piece before me, alive or passed. Definitely, pieces we all own were one day new and now are vintage or antique. Dawn, I have watched you for many years and you always respect the jewelry you handle. I have heard you more than once talking about what story the jewelry could tell. You respect the jewelry, and you sell it with integrity. That is why I watch you. I have learned so much from you throughout the years and you make VINTAGE fun and also historical. Thank you for all you do!!!!
Wow! Her heirs wasted no time liquidating her estate. That’s unbelievable! My brother passed away back in December leaving me sole heir. It was weeks after his memorial service before I managed to even drag my crying wreck of a self down to the bank to find out what I was dealing with. Now nearly 6 months since I lost him, and I still haven’t sold a thing. Not a task I look forward to. It’s so hard to even consider dismantling all that was his life.

The family has sold multiple real estate properties over the last decade in New York and New Jersey. It does seem really sudden, but the sale of the home and her personal belongings may have already been arranged before her passing.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with her headline or thumbnail. Beautiful items there waaaayyy to expensive for me! ❤ great video. Oh my goodness, the lady trying on the sparkly suit was kind of rude. You complimented her and she was so nonchalant. That fruit chandelier was the bomb.
What a house! The estate company did a beautiful job setting things up! Thanks for sharing this with us!!!!
Going to an estate sale or yardsale can be bittersweet. 💔😢 Knowing that the person who once lived there walked the same halls and had holidays there, but is no longer with us, can make it hard. #Memories #Life #Loss
Thanks for sharing great pick beautiful home omg and gardens . Loved the fruit CHANDLIER and the gorgeous chairs
That blue dining room----so beautiful!!! Nice finds, once again. That valet is fabulous and useful.
I enjoy how you walk us through the estate sale and we get to see so much including the prices. Thank you.
Stunning house, setting, yard. Fun house to explore with a surprise in each room! Love the light fixtures. I believe you found a variety of special pieces at a very good group price! Appreciate the respect expressed for the recently deceased very accomplished lady.
Everything is so beautiful...yes, and so sad.
EVERYTHING was exquisite. ❤
Some absolutely exquisite items at this Estate Sale
Always a joy to watch your videos, thank you for sharing. This person had a beautiful life filled with beautiful things, perhaps the nay sayers could come away with the message that we come with nothing & leave the same way, enjoy your time( & belongings )while still living! Oh the fruit chandelier ! She didn't seem to have a huge jewelry collection, but abundance in clothes.Love the taxi shoes!
I have only been to 1 estate sale. It was so sad to see all the things that no longer had an owner.😢
I lovey it to see these estates sales with beautiful treasures
Okay that valet stand is so cool! Ive never seen on like that! 😍😍😍
Beautiful home and furnishings.
Fantastic estate sale! Great pickups.
What an exquisite house, with fabulous gardens and wares Who knew being a fitness trainer and vlogger was so well paying!
What spectacular art and fixture, clothing and accessories....I felt like I was in a museum.
I love the pearls. I enjoy restringing them 🕊️
Thank you for taking us on this wonderful estate sale journey. You. Ay want to go back the next day as items will be less expensive.
My favorite part, you're looking at the murano chandelier and from our point of view, we see out the windows into the background. It's blues and greens and looks like art on the wall.
The venetian mirror is fantastic.
I absolutely loved the art you purchased ❤
I immediately thought the same thing as you about the 2 paintings.
I know what you mean when you felt emotional when you passed the funeral procession. I always feel sad when someone dies. Even if I never knew them personally. I live in Kansas where we have to pull over until the funeral procession I has passed. I always feel sad while they pass by.
Great buy on the valet!
That view from upstairs 😍 omg
Beautiful home, sometimes it’s ruff when someone passes ❤️
The lady trying on the sequined suit was built for it. Fit her like a glove. Wish we could have seen her model more of the fabulous dresses.

Sometimes I get creeped out at estate sales picking through someone’s life.. I don’t know why because thrift stores, consignment stores and flea markets I love to go to. Maybe it’s being in the house. I picked up a great pair of 14k gold hoops at consignment the other day for the price of costume and they had a ton of natural stone beads. I think I will go back for more.
I suppose I could do this for a living, but the problem would be that I would want to keep everything. I love your taste an how respectful you were to everyone including the poor woman who had passed.
Lovely home & yard.
You got some beautiful pieces too
Wow! It was a great haul at a fabulous location. You had a great day if you walked out of there paying less than $250. Wowee!
Wonderful video. You’re an empathetic person and it always shows. I have been around the estate sale scene for many years. This was obviously planned well in advance and the estate sale company took great pains to honor the wishes of the family. Brava to you Dawn. 🩷 You made lovely choices.

Im so surprised you didn’t grab that hot pink silk scarf, just screamed Dawn to me. 💗🌸

Hi there, thanks for sharing. The belt you picked up at 9:11 was Christian Lacroix. Would have been a great thing to pick up.
Beautiful house and the woman trying on the suit was a beach😊
Along with what is for sale, I love seeing the homes and gardens on estate sales. And, just a friendly FYI the chaise lounge is prounced shez.

It's better to store your treasures in heaven. You won't have to worry about who to leave them to when you're dead.
Can I just say,, The glass, fruit chandelier at the end, deserves a big mention, 'Wonderful'! Love your dress Dawn, I have a Laura Ashley dress, very similar. I've had it for years and still wear it! Fun video, thanks Dawn. 🌟🥰✌️

Re cost per item: I’ve done a similar calculation. Add up the cost per item (before purchase), including valet and art piece. What percentage of the total is the valet and art piece? Assume 45% which means everything else was 55% of total. Multiply 55% times what you paid. That number, divided by number of items, equals cost per item. Hope this makes sense.

Maybe she had arranged for a quick sale prior to death? She might have wanted cash to leave herself debt free so families didn’t have to worry? There could be a lot of reasons for this. Not necessarily callous reasons but compassionate ones could be at the heart of these estate decisions.

I also think Dawn did a very cool thing. Families, I am sure would have appreciated her buying some things that weren’t that special to their memories of their loved one.
Everyone doesn’t have room for the huge pieces so wait until the end because they will be going for a song. Just get ready to move things. My biggest pieces were very reasonably priced because like the one you were looking at it was either for or altered for media. If you drill small holes everywhere and use screw hooks you can arrange all your jewelry/accessories by colors for quick dressing. Separate ensembles with carabiner clips. Way cheaper than jewelry boxes, easier to have your total wardrobe ready.
I love your dress❤
I think everyone has already seen the name of the deceased all over the internet, and she was well known as well, and her estate sale was publicly advertised with photos of her home and belongings you weren't the only channel to film. It was no secret but publicly announced. She had a very long illness and had to live away from her home in care, and I think her husband was the only heir. When a person is ill for that long, they also have a hand in the future arrangements and what they both wanted and needed to take care of in her future estate planning. She was an older woman of 68. Cynthia Ann Schleifer is a much respected fitness trainer, and also, her beloved service dog was taken out and publicly recognized, and she was also a community volunteer. Wonderful lady. Thanks for sharing this video.

Interesting choice for a video title...
My grandmother's estate sale took 3 weeks to organize.
Perhaps she had the estate sale planned a long time ago, it had to go sooner or later, better sooner since the home already sold. She apparently had made arrangements to have the home sold so it makes sense.
That murano fruit chandelier is the most gorgeous chandelier I’ve ever seen. The chairs were also fantastic. Probably the only thing in the whole house I felt was “me.” I felt weird and creepy watching the video though, I have to say.
