The only thing more entertain than the pain in his voice in this clip would b him talking about how happy he is to see sam doing so well with the panthers, thats gold
The Jets didn't get the high round picks because they were a great team. They got it because they sucked. Unless your rookie is Football Jesus, they aren't ready for a Belichik defense.

You telling me Zach Wilson would be better off sitting behind Mike White to learn how NFL quarterbacks operate? How else do they develop him and develop the rapport between these young QB/HC's other than fucking PLAYING? If you have an Alex Smith and a contending roster with a raw young QB, sure sit him for 1 year MAX and bring him along slowly. I remember a coach (I actually think it was Rex Ryan regarding Mark Sanchez) saying something like, "Hey. It's OK if we have to punt. That's what we have a punter for" I think that's something rookie quarterbacks really have to learn. For QBs like Wilson, who didn't come from a great league in college and are used to more open, high scoring games, it's maybe even more important. Not every drive needs to end in a TD for a game to be a success.

Rewatched the tape. The one positive to gleam is that between Sam's ghost game and Zach's mishap, Sam looked a lot more confused. Very jittery in the pocket and made throws off his back foot. Zach was a lot calmer and 1/2 of the INT came from balls that were floated into tight coverage. Rookie mistakes vs. Bad supporting cast + Bad coaching. I trust Zach will bounce back after week 3. Travelling to Denver to face a great defense after getting embarrassed is a tall order. What matters is learning.
