I'll be trying Intermission on my main character. If that's deliberately hamstrung, or "discouraged" - as I suspect it will be - by making it profitless or pointless, then I'll wait for the DLC. Even then I'm not buying any DLC if the Seasonal character model is kept up for that. Ive think theyve looked at Diablo IV success and lost their minds.

Seriously, this nonsense is starting to wear out its welcome. I practically live in this game, yet we're still drowning in more bugs than a picnic in a swamp. And don't get me started on how they miraculously prioritize fixing that god roll mod hiccup! These devs must be playing Battleship with the player base because they're completely missing the mark. Shoutout to you and the content crew for calling them out - someone's gotta hold these devs' feet to the fire! If they keep steering this ship without a compass, Div3 might just be a no-show. Who's the brainiac behind these wild 'seasonal' character plans anyway? Not it, folks - and if they don't flip the script, we might have to trade in our controllers. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for Once Human to drop on console - could use a game with a bit more humanity!

I'm pretty new and have a massive issue with having to start again with new agents every season. Why am I having to throw away all the progress I've made to improve my agents? Being able to use them for just 2 weeks at the end of a 3 month season just makes them redundant.

The problem is not the seasonal characters because if that's what the game offers since release you get to decide if you buy it or not. The problem here is that they're doing this 5 years later, in a very aggressive way because the seasonal content will be avaible only for them, making the time invested in the first agent a wasted time. You know why we hate our 9-5 jobs? Because we do 8 hours of hard work just to get there the next day and start as if we didn't do anything the day before. The Division is doing the same, but with something we paid for and without a good reason.

I have about 3000 hours in The Division and about 5200 hours in Division 2 the fact ive spent that amount of time with the Story and levelling my character and making now approx 16 builds via the content and story is a testament to what i like about the overall game and it's story and setting, but now any new story and gear/weapons to make new builds with is going to be a start from 0 scenario every new season has put me off all together. Will i come back i doubt it as for the DLC i doubt i'll buy that as well, my day 1 character is where the story has been told (now it's cast aside by all accounts no thanks.)

we veterans keep your game alive for 5 years we fucking keep it alive form flooping but sure fuck us and make the game for the new players that gonna play for 2 weeks then quit

You assume they even get any meaningful numbers of new players … why would someone play this game in its fifth or sixth year of its lifespan with a downsized and underwhelming dev team that have done the bare minimum to keep the base entertained … this isn’t Fallout 76 propelled by a hit TV show and very active and responsive Dev team … Ubisoft is about to have two flops or middling hits with the upcoming Star Wars and Assassins Creed games … the Board and shareholders are about to lose their minds over low quarterly earnings reports …

Well said. Good on ya for speaking up. I'm pissed off and demotivated... First, the current dreadful story arc... cheap & lazy. Next, seasonal characters.... No thanks. I've invested 3000 hours in my character. I wanna play with my character. I don't want a 2 week window where, whoopie doo, i can play with my main character. What if im busy working long nights for those 2 weeks and cant get on to play? Tough. They said the current model of having mule characters shows that we already play this way, with extra characters supporting our main character... No, the reason we have to create extra mule characters is to get resources and materials for the RIDICULOUS EXPERTISE system they bloody created...and now that we've invested all that time, resources, money, they say they can't balance the game?! Absolute clowns. They can't fix bugs and gameplay issues, unless it benefits us players, in which case it's patched really quickly... Yet there's other (sometimes game breaking) bugs we've had for years they can't be arsed to sort out. Who were the players they were listening to who want all this new shite? Name and shame them please! As i said, im nearly 3000 hours in, shd 5216 and probably expertise 19. Ive grinded so much to get that, and that's all been for nothing now apparently. What a waste of time! They are trying to appeal to transient, low attention span, low interest players, those who will pay to progress and skip. Also trying to appeal to certain markets, like China, where they even have different / separate servers, maps, missions, apparel events etc. When i started playing 5 years ago, i wanted to progress and improve my builds, collect everything, achieve stuff. When the game beat me i did the grind to improve until i beat it. When i get whipped in DZ, as horrible as it is, it inspires me to improve. All the long time, loyal, players will leave. It might work for them financially in the short term, but it will be the death of this game. I've bought hundreds of Ubisoft games over the decades. Won't be buying any more. Im gutted, as I play most days, even if only for a short while, and it will leave a big hole in my life tbh. But im not playing a glorified version of Descent. Probably with crap directives and modifiers.... ...and if the first seasonal character turns out to be playing as Theo Parnell I will scream and delete the game immediately haha. And if i want to play with disposable seasonal characters, there's many different, better, options in other games. All we want is some new missions... They already have so many buildings and locations they could create new missions on existing maps. And increase difficulty by increasing number of enemies rather than making them boring terminator bullet sponges, who can sprint like Usain Bolt... Honestly, if you created like 1 new mission each month, we'd love you forever! Ubi / Massive: Please listen to us loyal long timers, who pay for every season pass etc. Don't kill this game, please. Right, I'm off to summon Yannick the Beard in that underground area in Constitution Hall and kick his arse, take out my frustration on him... 😂

There's no way in hell I'll return to the game because devs will graciously allow me to grind to lvl 40, and then SHD levels, again and again, repeatedly. What were they thinking? Edit: Forgot to tell you, thank you very much for your videos, iDentity.

The game has an abysmal low number of players active on pc, I imagine it's the same on consoles. I'd bet that most active players are the ones who truly love the game the way it is. These new changes will drive the loyal fanbase away, and by extension there will be no The Division 3

yes, i am one of those maniacs on PC that played the game almost every week for past 5 years...SHD 11K and Playtime 5847h 54m But this will change now, if they persist in this idiotic idea with season char....i will delete the game and go back to the old boring grinding in Warframe ...there new frames and weapons that i need to farm and try them in missions....

It’s hard to support this game it’s not really fun anymore. This has been my favourite game ever so I will still keep in my rotation but they really can’t mess up the seasonal characters. I’m enjoying Diablo 4 right now and after 4 seasons they finally got it right. The most important thing with seasonal characters is how levelling is going to work and if it’s rewarding. The devs got to really work on that to make sure that during the levelling process the players feel rewarded. I diablo 4 they made a zone call helltides where players can level up easily but also get all the loot they need for end game. They should also increase exotics drop rates so that the players can get to the build they want faster. But also rework gear and talents that don’t make sense. Like I’m sick of using strikers for everything. I love this franchise so hoping for the best.

Why the hell would any sane person even consider forking out for D3 unless you are a glutton for punishment.

You obviously didn't read my comment. I love this game, want it to be a good game. But if they are going to cut corners and just re hash old codes then it's going to be just as bad. I'm saying they need to start from scratch, the whole issue is codes re written in codes, and that can over ride parts of the original code. How can you say someone is insane by asking for a new game, not a rehash, a new game, new codes, new maps, new everything. Because thats the only way this game will survive unless you like deltas, missing ammo, can't heal, skills not working in raids. You may not care about the game and that's fine, your choice. But i do, because it's a frekin good game when it worked. If being insane is wanting a game that works as intended then i don't know what to say. It's like saying i got a car, but the oil leaks, then buying a brand new car with no oil leak, is that insanity to you? Because if so you don't know what insane is.

Good luck getting a game that actually works as intended even made new from scratch it will still have problems like most games do you are a gamer right you know this yourself then you got devs that ain’t got the brains they where born with there quick to fix things that benefit a player but slow on the uptake when it comes to something that hampers you my original comment was not meant as a dig at you I am just a fed up gamer at the point of packing it in altogether.

I agree with this video, bro. WTF are massive devs thinking dropping seasonal characters this late in the D2 life? If they did it in the first 3 seasons, then fine, like you said. But its mind boggling to do it now. I'll be surprised if 50% of players just go onto other games and not play anymore. I'll give it a try, but idk.

I'm a veteran and have enjoyed Div 1 and 2. I'm not a fan of this seasonal move and I would most likely stop playing the game and find something else to play.

So, You got me curious.. I am one of those that quit.. I quit in June of 2021 and never looked back. I had to log in to my Ubisoft account to see when my last level up was to verify.. I just came back in April and I am really trying to embrace it again. Just hit level 1000 last week, I have over 1300hrs in Div 2, and almost 2000hrs in on Div 1. The concept of the game is incredible. Its amazing that it still has the player base that it does after 6yrs! Sometimes its better to let something go and pick it up later. If it really bothers some, then leave.. I considered myself a true fan, and I think things are far worse at the moment than they ever were. All the BS has been going on for years.. Love it or leave it.. I think the Devs feel like they are going to revive this. Not giving us the time of day during Ubisoft Forward tells me exactly where this game is in the Devs mind.. As far as The Division 3.... If they were truly going to drop a Division 3 they would of given this game a lot more screen time during Ubisoft Forward to get some momentum moving forward.. If the community responds they way they have, The Division 3 will be dead because I can guarantee this was most likely a test bed for what they are thinking for our future... Stay safe out there Agents...

Creating new characters for stash space reasons was one thing. Being forced to do it is an effing joke!

Seemingly a major part of The Division 2's nose dive is due to in big part, Ubisoft's bs corporate s.o.p. . According to many people who claim to work or have worked for them in both Canada and France's offices, say corporate lets their main employees go at it like a, "gladiator development environment". They don't promote team work. They can't seem to figure out how to make big money from the Division so they take a who "gives a damn" approach to its future. They have such an awesome engine yet they don't know or refuse to drive it to its fullest potential. This is why D3 is looking like a xmas wishlist that will be filled by a Macy's 1980's drunken salvation army Santa

The division game in of it's self was never designed to be what Diablo has in mechanic wise with seasonal character, their player count will show with low player count, they should have released more news on Division 3, with games like Blue protocol, The First Decedent, Throne of Liberty coming out...

Its not a rocket science. why dont they just ask the player first? like ask, you want this or that feature? bla bla? or is there anything you want? like need more inventory space. we ask for it, hell we even willing to paid extra for it. yet they add something we never ask for.

Here's the heart of all the questions that is basically already been answered: if there's really some great exciting new feature-mission-story-thing that would get ALL players excited, why aren't they selling us on that??? ...if they had something great that we'd all be hyped for, then that should've been their lead at Ubi Forward, not the two minute quick slip as they walked out the door at the very end.

100% will def leave! I'm a longtime Division 1 grinder and fan boy, absolutely loved LOVED Division 1. When 2 came out, I went all-in and never looked back. It was me and 4 family members playing every night and having an absolute blast. Not sure what happened but we all stopped playing for awhile, until recently. Maybe bout 7 months ago we all decided to give it another try and from that moment on we have been playing the hardest. Late night grind sessions, set days aside for full gaming farm days, etc etc....we ALL loved all the new content, even the exhausting grind to level-up your expertise. It was a love/hate kinda thing. Something about where the game is now has our crew and friends actually excited...genuinely freaking excited! At family occasion we are talking builds, or making plans for next raid, or busting balls on who really screwed up...we ALL got super excited about new DLC coming, watched trailer and we all knew, that was it...we all knew all the hard work grinding, making mule after mule was worth it cause it was going to be HUGE! However after we found out what really is planned...I can't express enough how much it was a disappointment! I'm truly hoping you will reconsider the future plans for Division. I understand trying to make the playing field level for everyone but how you are going about it is truly wrong. Hours/days spent grinding, making moves, spending time helping new players etc etc all to watch it go up in flames! Please find another way, do something crazy maybe that never been done, have a multiple live video discussion with your customers about pitching ideas on how to fix this...just do something, please. I can tell you for a FACT if nothing is done and things go as planned, we will absolutely ALL uninstall. Knowing allot of other loyal Division customers feel the same way should help make this decision easier.

I grinded out 3 toons on PS4/5 ever since the start. I finally put D2 on my gaming laptop because i refuse to pay Sony that much money for PS+. At any rate i've been grinding my character on the laptop, just about 600 shade level. If Massive thinks i am going to start over, they're delusional. I can find something else to play.

The fact that they have to setup Q&A’s and FAQ’s just to explain how to play this game now is insanity. It’s not fun anymore, it’s work. Making it so grindy to get this gear and then tell us to forget it all is insulting at this point in year 5.

Catering to new players is a mistake, because most new players do not stick around for end game content. I know this because I somehow ended up leading a Division 2 clan for about a year, and what I saw, time after time, was that new players would finish the game, and then they’d move on to something else instead of continuing with the end game content. I finally just left that clan and joined one that was already full of people who’d reached the end game long ago but are still playing. Personally, I’m already taking a break from the game other than logging in to do the SHD supply project or find Danny Weaver, and nothing I’ve heard about Seasons 2.0 makes me feel inclined to jump back in and start playing every day. Not only that, but after Heartland and now this, I’m not really that excited about whatever the Division 3 turns out to be, because it seems like the devs don’t even understand why people like the game.

I use to play daily for hours at a time but now I'll just do an hour a week.

I'm at almost 5000 SHD with 4 characters and the seasonal characters might be what finally makes me quit.

I just wish they gave us more of a choice. I've played numerous games were I've had seasonal characters. Honestly it kept those games fresh. But those are other games. The systems in place don't match up with the seasonal archetype. Thanks for staying calm and being the voice of reason!

Massive wants to create a balance experience by putting everyone on the same playing field...what they need to understand is, who do you think the new players are learning from? Can't coach a rookie if you made us into a rookie....

I've not played since this first started, and I don't see that changing. I'm not saying I'm out forever, but I don't see any reason to come back. Yesterday's FAQ only cemented my view the devs are liars and just want my money without addressing what I want in exchange. I'll still watch you and other CC such as NYL, Soak Disko and The Gaming Brigade as I enjoy your work - RogueGold and Grock can get stuffed. So keep doing what you're doing and we can hope for a change

Exactly right. Apart from the nature of the changes themselves, they straight up lied to our faces and gaslit us through the entire FAQ. It was infuriating. Pouring gas on a fire, and then asking for our money and time. I don’t take that shit from people I know; I’m certainly not going to take it from game developers I don’t. People with such contempt for the hands that feed them can never be trusted, and are not worth feeding. As Coriolanus said, there is a world elsewhere. There are games elsewhere.

Having been with Division since the beta way back when, I checked out about a year ago when the developer-led campaign against the player reached my tipping point. D2 was arguably worse than the previous iterations (other than the 1.3 time in D1) with some new mechanics, but it all felt off versus the first game. At any rate, constantly removing power from the player gets to a point where you're being penalized for supporting the game. This kind of dick move from the developers betrays all the work players have put in to now, literally telling us 'you're starting over with every chase'. Nope, I had my time in hell already, this won't get me back, and for the precious few still around, uhh, good luck.

Hey man, I feel your frustration. Just last night after I got home from work. I was looking in the Playstation store for a new game. I've been a big fan of the division game and part of the community since day 1. But for the past year, my love for this game has been hanging by a thread. If it wasn't for you and buzzlightbeer and kamikazevondoom, I would've dropped this game a long time ago. This game still has potential, but it's almost like they've given up and said we're gonna stop with major changes of division 2 and just focus on division 3. Which I may not even bother getting. Keep up the good content, bro.

as a div2 of almoat five years, I have too much to do in my life to play any more then 5-6 days a month. If seasonal characters make it impossible (or a hell of a grind to keep up with seasonal characters) i'll have no issue dropping div2 and focusing that extra free time on much more productive things like learning new instruments, producing more music and continuing to dabble with my fledgling video editing hoobby.

Putting lipstick on a pig is still just a pig with lipstick. It's like the instructions on the back of a shampoo bottle, wash, rinse, repeat...Been here since day 1 of Division 1, and continually give the.devs the benefit of the doubt, but this, this is, well you said it B. "Straw that broke the camels back". There's nothing to look forward to. All this new "content" and nothing. Can't use our main character, that some have thousands of hours, just to get the character min maxxed, and now they expect us to start from level 1 every season and unable to use our main character? I have been playing Division 2 since Day1 and Division 1 before. I agree with you. They should be considering Veterans because we keep the game going!

I've played this game nearly every day for over 3 years. It literally saved me from offing my self. Dark times man I know. But the loyalty I have has been worn out for this specific game. I purchased everything I could as a thank you even if I didn't need it but enough is enough. Last season was the 1st season I ever missed and don't really have an interest anymore in keeping up. They're milking a rock at this point. I'll always be gratefully for what it did for my mental health and I love this franchise but it's time they let this game go and move on to Div3. I'm a Helldiver now! 😂

@@iDentityUS Shoutout to ya'll content creators as well. When I wasn't playing the game I was listening and watching ya'lls vids. That helped a lot as well because it felt like I was part of something good and bigger that I can contribute to. It's a dark road and this game and yall light it up enough to get down the path. I'm just glad i made it out and hope others did the same. I've met a good amount of people gaming that have and are going through similar things which was one of the reasons why I stayed playing just to answer the call of "Agent in need of backup" through 9k shd lvls. But at a certain point it just felt like we were being used and ignored and I refused to be played like that again.

I love this game, and have since Div 1. I play 2-3 hours a week now, used to play 20+ week in, week out, staying up late. The way things have been recently, I have found other game(s) to enjoy. The exclusivity Div used to hold for me is gone.

I have 3400 hours in division 2 … the devs lost touch with the game and what is fun for us players… Maybe when the DLC is coming i coming back … And for you identity… allwayes love your content 🤘🏻😊

After all the time invested in TD1 and TD2 this is the final straw for me. Veteran players grind gear and weapons for the best builds possible and most of us pass it on to newer agents in our clan (at least I do). Destiny 2 did the same thing and I haven’t played in 2 years. They should have a big sign in the Dev room that says something as simple as WWTCD = What Would Tom Clancey Do? Would save them the embarrassment this game has become. It’s a good thing the Gears of War franchise is coming back…. now I’ll have something to look forward to. Maybe this is a sign 😂

I understand your stands on the seasonal characters... we already have Descent, where we start from nothing and grind it out to see how high we can go. Seasons 2.0/Manhunt 2.0 needs to be a completely different experience from what we already have in order for veterans and new comers to play this game.. If its not, then we will know what will happen.. I have watched videos made by Epic Slayerz, RogueGold, Sgt.GreyBread, and KamiKazeVonDoom.. For myself, I will play Season 2.0 when it comes out and make my decision then on whether to on or move on.. P.S. Thank you for making division build videos, no matter what happens, I appreciate the efforts you put into your videos whether its the division or creating videos games. 🔴🔴💯💯

I have 3055h 55m in The Division 2. I have bought all season passes, to support a game I love. Seasons 2.0 is probably going to be the straw that broke the camel's back. To me, it all hinges on the implementation of seasonal characters. If the 'required play time' is minimal, then I can live with that. My available playtime is limited, and I would rather play the character that I have put my time into optimizing, rather than a glorified mule. If the characters will require the bulk of my time, I will move on. It's just not worth my time.

I have a few words to add to all of this... Quality Control. I started in 1.3 D1, it was so bad you had to cheese to get through standard missions. It got better and I played, a lot. D2 happened and I was excited, to see a new world, new things to do and experience. Then QC failure, every release since day 1! Yes we struggled and waited patiently. But guess what? I had Diablo 3 and then 4, a franchise I have been playing since day 1. I could always go back there or even Counter Strike if I needed a shooter. But I wanted the ARPG looter / shooter. I wanted the builds, then challenges of the mind not just the KB/M. I have skipped seasons of D2, because to me, I was disenchanted, tired of the broken code, that would ruin the game, take weeks if not months or never to get fixed. Its as if Ubi/Massive thought that we would not notice, be sheep. I returned over and over, because I love the game when it is working correctly, which it isnt again. Hell if D2 is doing seasonal, give us a reborn loot system, Diablo 4 just did it. I agree that D3 should be fresh and new, not an overlay on this stack of jacked up code that D2 has become. The story, adaptation to a game of Tom Clancy's books, lore and the intrigue is wonderful... but the game is just that a game: same rat different maze.

Thanks for the double upload & for understanding what the community that been helping and trying the best to keep the game & franchise alive i hope other content creators address this issue without saying that we are just whining & need to complaint about anything & everything thanks again and hopefully the dev team listen.

I think I figured out why they are doing what they are doing and why and if I'm correct all the B!T(hing and griping we are doing is going to do no good because they can't change it. 1. All a Seasonal Character is, is a Hard Core Character that can't die, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think I am, Hard Core Characters are on their own different servers that regular toons can't interact with. 2. We will get additional stash space just like our Hard Core Characters mysteriously got a few months back, the Devs must have been already working on this and that is why they never mentioned it in updates, I thought it was very strange at the time but now it makes sense. 3. The Reason the Seasonal Characters will not be able to play Global Events is the new system they are implementing is just a re-named and Re-painted Global Event and instead of (whichever) Cashe' at level whatever it will be Comms, apparel, gear or whatever. They won't be able to do Global Events is because the will conflict with each other. The thing I don't get is how we are going to "share" whatever with our main toon afterward, me thinks that is going to get really hosed up and really p!$$ people off. That could be what the Temp storage is for, You move it from Your Seasonal Character stash to the Temp and then from the Temp to your main toon. Like I said, I think i get it now, the WHY? But I still don't like it, we'll see how right (or wrong) I am in a few months.

You're right about the importance of content creators like yourself. I played all of the main story solo not understanding the grind or builds. The CCs got me back into the end game because of the knowledge I gained

💯!!! Disregarding the whole fan base/community that built these games and helped it get to where it is and keep it there is utterly disgusting! Can you guarantee that these new players you are trying to rope in are going to be as passionate and dedicated as we all have been? No you cannot and the fact of the matter is they will NEVER know or appreciate what we have all gone through!

Gone are the days of making an amazing game to bring in players. They design from the ground up to have their fingers in your wallet. That is ALL this change is. They see an opportunity to transition to a more aggressive, exploitative monetization structure and they don't give a damn about anything else. This is the first big step turning Div 2 into a mobile app with a million IAP tugging at your sleeve every moment you're logged in and the community can smell it.

Dam I can't believe this is happening. They literally want us to start all over again. Do they know how week a beginning character is, no good weapons and armor. This has really made me hang up the devision completely and I'm not just saying that just to say it. I will just focus on destiny 2 from this point. Wow devision developers you ruined your own game WOOOW.

The odd thing about the weakness of a new character: I made a new character to be a mule at the start of this season because I could do it in DC. I couldn't believe how easy I found invaded strongholds on hard difficulty. When I first played on normal I was struggling big time. I assumed it was because of the gear that I was better. I may have accidently got good at the game! 🙂 So, perversely I hope whatever these modifiers are they are bringing in make it a bit harder. Otherwise the grind to 40 is going to be dull af.

I quit this game after 5k hours because they never fix their mistakes and after seeing this, I've never been more sure that it was a good decision. I won't be playing div3.

Instead of listening to feedback, they'll just experiment on their players with their awful ideas again until they make div3 as bad or worse than div2 is winding up. They are all out of ideas. The seasonal shift is proof of that. Couldn't come up with anything for you to do with your main so they added more grind to make regrinding the stuff you already ground feel "new".

I just hit SHD 5000. YAY. (This may not sound amazing to many but if you PvP'd before they added XP you know)... I play for like an hour a week now. It's still fun, but i want a Div3. I dont care if it's janky or kinda broken. I want the Div2 mechanics and the Div1 vibe back.

They needed to pull this shit AFTER the dlc that's been put off and delayed that we've been infinitely patient for.

I quit playing awhile ago when I realized (too late) that they are not going to give us any more PvP content. Everything they give us now is not fun to replay. Or even play. And the sad thing is that TD3 will be more of the same. All of the Ubisoft PvP developers are working on other projects. Good luck, Agents. I was a day one TD1 player. Time to jump ship.

I don't have it in me to grind anymore. It was already bad enough for farming countdown for exotic components. Now they want me to start over? Some of us have jobs! So, eventually, I will move on. This is sad cause I have been with the Division since D1. Now Im not even sure if I even want to waste my time with Division 3. Not to mention, the game is always broken.

The feeling is like for a wide part of the game structure veteran players (through their characters and their high evolution) are banned only for the reason of having spent a lot of time on the game against the new players they are trying to integrate.

If the seasonal content is radically different from what it is now, I might stick with the new system. If it's more or less the same, which I suspect it will be. I'll be motivated to get outside and enjoy the summer more. 😅

It seems that many recent announcements from developers can unfortunately be interpreted as biased against the veteran community, which makes me feel unwelcome to participate. It's looking mighty more inviting to adventure under the Erd Tree.

I've been with division since day one and I am so frustrated with all of this so disappointed I'm going to stop playing till division 3 comes out hopefully it will be a fresh start

I fail to see the reason for so much disdain. What is really changing? We get a new character to play in a different way each season. We can continue to play our old characters in all of the content that we usually play - except for most of a season. We don't get the new gear right away for our mains; however, we get new gear for them at the end of every season. DLC will drop and our mains will be used for that content. Personally, I don't need to use my main for a season. By now, my builds are overkill for seasons. I play seasons for the story mostly (which I hope improves in this format). I need my main for only the most challenging content. The way I see it, now I get two characters to play content. Finally, seasonal content will be a challenge again! The game can get monotonous at times, the way it currently is. I strap on my best guns and gear, and hours later I don't remember anything about the session. Maybe Seasons 2.0 addresses this problem.

I will start a new game this weekend. I will not be playing this game regularly any more. I will check in from time to time, my friends are going to do the same. They are losing a lot of money with these folks making the rules.

Hi, my watch is ca 11.000 and i played like 5 years with some cuts of 1-2 months for a very few game. My clan is now about 6-12 players (4-6 who still play Div 2); i ”left” the game 2 weeks ago because of lack of NEW contents. Even by changing builds people/I got boared to play again and again the same missions and the same events. Lots of others games get new missions new contents, new legendaries and new weapons every 2-3 months. I think Ubisoft left this game in spite of many playe rs would put money on contents rather than ”NEW” season (without new contents/missions). I love this game and the community (and the You-tubers like you and a few others) but again, WE NEED NEW CONTENTS REGULARLY and i am really ready to pay for it). Get some new developpers with ideas of new missions instead of new builds and people will come back...

I just feel that all my time investment into my character has been a waste, plus I seriously doubt the season 2.0 content is going to be anything significant beyond rehashed previous content, quite frankly I am somewhere between disillusioned and feeling betrayed and lets face it no where between those two points is a good place to be. So many other games to play Ubisoft has be smoking something whacky to be so out of touch with the player base to pull this kind of stunt.

Since Division 1, they have always exhausted all the wrong decisions before landing on something the fanbase wants. This decision doesn't just push me away from Division 2, but now I won't be a day 1 Division 3 player. Why buy Div 3 when there's a really good chance the devs pull the rug out from us like they're doing now? What is my motivation to go from expertise level 21 to 22? In a sad way, I should thank them for confirming what many long-time players always suggested: their priority isn't on the fans they have, but the fans they want.

For me right now, I will look at Y6S2 just to see what it is all about but reading everything the Massive and the Devs have put out about it, doesn't give me any confidence that I'll be here much during those 15weeks for the Seasonal stuff. This is purely a marketing gimmick and a way of trying to draw in new players or players that have just started with the game. There is nothing at all except the final end fight that would keep the long-time, devoted players that has kept this franchise going during the last few years to keep playing. This style of Seasonal toon is not new, just like you mentioned it already, Massive always seem to be 2 or 3 years behind anything new yet they have an unbelievable franchise with The Division, kind of know that but truly fail to build on it and reward those veteran players. I've been The Division beta, day 1, The Division 2 beta and day one player so seen all the good times and the long, bad times and feel The Division 3 cannot come soon enough for many veteran players but it needs to be fresh and new. It cannot be a simple "copy/Paste" approach like TD2 was from TD1. I'm even thinking that the DLC next year will either be delayed until Yr7 and/or a copy/paste from the original area we all trained in for The Division 1.

Imma just log on and play my main when i feel like it and wait for the DLC. If something cool/a must have exotic comes out during the season I'll play the last 2 weeks or wait for it to hit the general loot pool. It is what it is.

Tronald Dump is a savage!, I have been playing since The division Beta, played closed Beta for The Division 2 and to be honest I was a little disappointed but I played either way, have a lot of hours in the game and right now The Division is way better than The Division 2, visually sets, ambient, everything. I stopped playing The Division 2 Last year around this same time, and wanted to come back on this Year 6, but I uninstalled again, and I won't be playing unless they do something really great or The division 3 comes out with good stuff, because Heartland seems to be dead?

My love for the game has earned it the chance to try the new season. I tried it in Diablo and destiny 2. And as soon as the season ends and all that effort and focus is reduced to nothing something inside me breaks. The result is I cannot bear to experience that again so I stop playing. Haven't touched Diablo 4 since the end of the vampire season. Haven't touched destiny 2 since too expansions ago. I really hope division didn't just make that same mechanic happen.

Game is easy to understand. I have made a new account did the 30 to 40 jump into countdown. Get a striker build set up coyote mask Saint Elmo’s jump into the incursion, then raid. Get the our/eb in under 5 hours. People make the game harder than it is. And I am not a good player

The seasonal characters should be a optional choice that benefits creating a new character with extra rewards that makes you want to go through with a seasonal character. My personal perspective is that we as the D2 community does not have the time to do so again, it's the summer so I am definitely going to enjoy the weather instead sitting around doing the same thing again without anything that I have .

Ubisoft is doing alot of things that make no sense to me. I am huge fan of this game and AC games. Even the AC Valhalla was good but long. Hopefully ubisoft will see what ppl want and not do this 2.0 thing. They will truly lose me. Plus I play this game everyday. I dont play diablo bc of the seasonal pass. To start over after I get to lvl 1611 to lvl 1. Thats crazy. Makes no sense.

First step Anti Cheat in PVP would change game dynamics in a Massive way. It’s such a simple thing to do, I can’t understand why they REFUSE to do it? As for everything thing else it’s just laziness on their behalf. They have become to comfortable serving garbage on the premise that something awesome is just around the corner and yet again….nothing but disappointment! If it was for the community I would have left a long time ago. Unfortunately we are all looking for something else to play.

i do stick around to the game but they have rethink the developing issues and community issues because many players got disappointed some understand but not all. many players spend their time for a proper build then this seasonal character thing just popped up out of nowhere that pisses off to the veteran players

So they used the carrot and stick tool developers often use for the power fantasy chase and gave us SHD and Expertise. Season characters are clearly their response to designing themselves into a corner with power creep. They said it themselves about delivering content experience even and equal for all players. Other developers like Warframe and Destiny have solved this through gameplay mechanics (coordinated mechanics, boss health gating, etc). This a always been an area where Massive have struggled so I’m not surprised how we got here. I’ll stick around to see how this plays out. Game is in trouble though. This season is flat. DLC better be a hit. You never know this could all have a negative impact on the budget and resources D3 gets.

I’ve got 4 things to say If this update flops the first descent is probably gonna take over my top three favourite games automatically and it’s highly probable at that point. I wouldn’t come back to The division. And also, I’m gonna be honest with you all it’s gonna take is one extremely good game with Devs that know exactly what they are doing and what the player base wants and it’s just gonna destroy the whole group of other games automatically especially with how things are going in other games Of the RPG type look at destiny two, The division 2, fallout 76 outriders the list goes on The only two games that I know of that are popping Is Warframe And maybe soon to be the first descent Also I just want games to be good. I think I’m done. I was looking to see what they did with seasons 2.0 to make my decision. Seasonal characters are something I’m not going to like. It’s time for me to go.

To be honest I just really learned how to build properly about 2 years ago and now all my builds and character means nothing really just don’t make sense from my experience the new players love that they have to grind to catch up to us except for getting killed in the dark zone by someone picking on them who is strong already but that’s the dark zone and that’s what makes it a lil fun

Well, the Division is really the only game I want to play. I just can’t seem to enjoy any other games. GTA online Red dead online And the division have ruined other games for me. Now it’s hard to even want to play the division anymore.

It's the excuse of "to level the playing field for new players " hell no where were these no players when game came out? I've been asking for legendary difficulty world tier, legendary missions, legendary bounties, and even asked about a new specialist who is a medic or hacker to say take over war hounds. These manhunts are copy and paste, the didn't kill off keener as an easy way to continue game without the dlc, its the cheap way to drag the lore out instead of lies about heartland the also poured $/time into a mobile game...which is more likely to get dlc before D2. Ive already started slowly working my way into other games for when its time to abandon D2 once and for all, even though I love the franchise and gameplay I won't keep releveling characters each season

I have been around since the start with Div1 and actually still go for runs in the DZ and survival. I personally lost all interest in Div2 when they delayed the Brooklyn update. Then I heard about all this crap and thought they delayed Brooklyn and gave everyone this garbage. Well after watching this video and others with true opinions not the fan boy I'm getting paid to hype videos. Its definitely time to free up some space on the pc.
