Although I am all for empowerment, when we are talking about the wedding functions a little bit of modesty goes a long way. It is the same for white weddings too. It's not about being conservative or not an "Indian" thing about cleavage. We are talking about a spiritual, one of the most sacred days in one' s life.
Somehow the bridal dresses don't seem appealing to me in Say yes to the dress India compared to the UK and US versions. I have been watching a few episodes and they fail to impress. I do believe this would be high end bridal store, yet the clothes are just only bling , and they do not really do anything for the brides. I have been to Indian weddings. The bridal outfits are always topnotch.

The dresses looks more of pageantry
Introductions far too long. The program is about the bride and not the stylist.
