    We ran into him the day before at a service station where he was washing the bike and he was kind enough to show it to us and chat for a while. Save for suspensions and rims that T7 is standard, engine and clutch included. Excellent pilot and a very nice guy 👍

    I tought they removed the abs for weight reduction ?

  • @mariodejusto7506

    @mariodejusto7506

    9 ай бұрын

    @saschaoberhofer Of course, non fundamental things that only add weight have gone out, and the electric instalation had been reduced to the minimum, small led lights in front, no lcd display ... the rims/hubs for off road tires cannot fit the abs sensors. Abs does not make much sense in enduro, doesn't it? ;-)

    Clutch, brakes, front tower, tank, handlebar, subframe, footpegs, etc… This list can go as long as you want, but that bike is definitely not close to a stock T7 😂 Fair play to Paul anyway, but he would do the same with whichever other ADVENTURE bike out there specced with similar components

    @@lucazed4784 Why would you think the clutch, tank, or subframe have been modified? Suspension, ABS delete, emissions delete, airbox, wheels, etc sure. Mostly just to lighten the bike up. And by the way, the reason I wonder about your statement on the subframe is there is no way to modify it on a T7 without cutting the frame. You'd be able to see it.

    There are videos covering the modification to this bike, it's a very long way from just "suspension and rims" that were changed.

    I watched just ten minutes of it and I'm physically tired like after the whole day of riding 😂 If talking seriously, I could do some things from the record, but just a couple times a day, or I'll be dead and exhausted. Making it constantly for an hour of riding is in another league... No words, I could've never thought it is even possible.

    Do you usually struggle with the chain jumping off? is it cause of the anti-squat design? I can see how that design is nice for casual riders but it's interesting to see how it interferes with the way you ride. It must be frustrating when it jumps off like that. Thanks for posting the full footage

    I watch this and I think, besides, money, for example, why would you go riding this T7 instead of focusing and keeping developing your riding in hard enduro where maybe you could compete for top5 in the world if not higher... The only reason I see is - you're now doing something, that most likely no other human being in the world today would be capable of, and that is something special! As I see it, this quest was indeed made for you, because to be as successful as you are riding this bik bike, one would not only need superb skill of a top elite rider, but also the physical abilities you've been given. Keep this up, it's such a pleasure to see. And for everyone else - make no mistake, what you see Pol doing is not something even good riders will be able to repeat, Pol is at the tip of the spear pushing the limits of what is possible on a bike most would not last 5 minutes riding in such conditions.
