Paola Ogechi Egonu (born 18 December 1998) is an Italian female volleyball player of Nigerian heritage. She plays for Imoco Volley and is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team. She participated at the 2018 Montreux Volley Masters, 2018 FIVB Volleyball World Championship, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League.
On club level she played for Club Italia in 2015. She was selected to play the Italian League All-Star game in 2017. In 2017 she moved to AGIL Novara.
She was awarded the prize for Woman of the Year 2019 by the weekly magazine of la Repubblica D - la Repubblica delle donne

She was the leading scorer for the Serbia women's national volleyball team in her debut in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, and 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Biskovic is more powerful(spike speed can easily exceed 100 km/h) and has more accurate/sharper angles. Egonu has a higher spike height.

These two players so amazing. Both terrific and excellent in their performances. But rating these two fabulous players, I consider Tijana Boskovic as best of the best. Very impressive that she plays in all angles and strikes with confidence.

weirdly, i differ. Egonu has the height for the cuban spike but Ting and the Brazilian pins feels like the more natural heir for the Cubans. She for me lacks speed and the clutch performance of the Cubans.

This match was from 2 years back. Nice video. I like both but Egonu is my favorite. She looks so light when jumping that high 😍 She has speed, altitude but she need to add more power on her hits. Boskovic, on the other hand, hits so hard with great power and speed 😍 Both are the best women's volleyball player for me. Congratulations Serbia 💗

Sheilla plays smartly, not so explosive but very reliable. Gamova is explosive but somewhat slow, and didn't take advantage of her height well. Egonu and Bosko are way different. Always takes the ball at their highest peak... Explosive and are threat on the service line.
