Really liked the episode. The opening was just good and the ending song was peak. You can definitely see some parts were rushed but over all good episode. Side note during the preview for the next episode when Multi opens her brief case you can see she has different versions of Wizard arrow and Knight shield but she also has Shark edge as well. I was so surprised to see her have that and different versions of as well.

The top right in the top box and the middle right in the bottom box look new. Wonder if we will see them

anyone notice how bird being abandoned by his team parallels chris being abandoned by his team in metal fury (for opposing reasons: bird was considered too weak by his teammates while chris was considered too strong by his teammates)

I can only imagine it gets better. It was a good episode. I liked Bird and Kamen X’s interaction. Glad they’re going for a grounded sports anime approach.

Thank you for actually giving a fair and honest review about episode one and I appreciate it. Whenever a new generation/anime starts (not just with Beyblade) or we see some future scenes/characters/spoilers, fans go nuts over everything and think it's great or going to be great just due to it being new which drives me nuts. While speculating and ideas are fun, people need to tone it down. Something might look like it will be fun/cool/exciting/etc., but then you get the whole picture and it could very easily be a disappointment or not as good as you thought it was/was going to be.

Pretty okay start, but I feel like there were so many cut corners in this episode. Hopefully it starts to get better. It has a lot of time to do that since this is just the first episode.

I don’t know but the guys that Bird was battling in the beginning remind me of Kyoya Tategane’s group in the beginning of the Metal Saga series. That’s probably just me though.

They have chances to change the animation studio but it depends on ADK which is their main producer, they can pretty much do whatever they want but hopefully the can make that chance soon

I don't believe there is much hope for how soon BEYBLADE X came that much can change positively

There are parts I like, but I just feel like it’s identity as a series is all over the place if that makes sense? I feel like the anime is so rushed in it’s presentation, and the overall style of it is extremely bland. The art does not reflect the manga as well either and that’s lowkey why I wished OLM wasn’t the team behind it only because I hoped for a different animation studio to handle the visual style.

I wish we actually got all the seemingly manga only beys like strikehawk and stonemontblanc. I thought maybe that team would reappear somehow but montblanc was a knightshield recolor I think so there's no shot

I was trying to be possitive but honestly its not that good idk why they changed the art style, just animation overall is avg that's all. in 2023 i expected better quality and dragsword ans all beasts look better on motif bad in design i hope atleast future stuff get better even some effects and cg r very avg or a little under avg just animation looks flat

Looks like the manga is gonna be the best way to enjoy the story of this for the most part especially since it looks like the anime’s animation is VERY rough, if this was the premiere episode,man that is not a good sign. Meanwhile the manga has the freaking mangaka from the promised neverland doing the art, a manga which I loved for the most part. Hopefully it goes uphill for the anime

the issue when you adapt long seasons like this is you will eventually have to get into filler which could be a good thing depending what they do

@@zankye both strike hawk and stone Mont Blanc are the only beys to have original gear chip motifs (in the anime, at least) I was hoping that the generic beys would have their own original motifs, kind of like what they did in metal fight and how the generic beys not only used light wheels, but also had original face bolt motifs.
