I truly am so homesick for heaven. I ruined first part of my life till fell in love with Jesus my hold world changed . When I get down when times get rough that peace of holy ghost Act 2:38-39 kjv such a beautiful peace even in bad times. Gonna endure and give rest of my life to serving him.

My favorite part is when he sings, I heard that the King of the Ages took my place.

The battle was won when Jesus rose again. We will win the entire war when Jesus Christ comes back to liberate the earth and humans from sin and evil. I cannot wait. My body and soul is ready for that whenever it happens. I don't care about earthly things, just my family and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would guess this is the early 80s, and I am going by the apparent age of Brother Jimmy. I do know that this is at one of his Crusades, and he no longer has those. Instead he has Campmeetings in Baton Rouge several times a year.

John Starnes sang for Jimmy Swaggart crusades from 1980 to about 1987. Since this appears to be a crusade. That would be the era. John Starnes was a commerical pilot who also was the chief pilot for the crusade mininistry. Brother Starnes also sang for Billy Graham crusades in the same era.

Everyone left in 88-89. John was there from 1980-88 I think.

I cannot find anywhere to buy this song is sung by John and would love to buy a CD. It would have to be on Jimmy Swaggart Album but I cannot find it on his site either. Sang many years ago. Anyone can help I would appreciate it !!
