Earlier today I watched the BBC hard talk interview of 9th April with the Scottish First Minister where he was asked his thoughts on the fact that thousands of complaints have been recorded by Police Scotland for his 2020 "White man" speech. Humza Yusuf replied immediately with a dismissive comment that anyone offended by his Holyrood racial injustice speech were all in the 'far right', and they were causing Scots to report him to Police Scotland. This would be a scandalous statement by a junior MP. But from the leader of the country its beyond offensive So I have today, reported the First Minister to Police Scotland again, for stirring up hatred, again!! I'd urge everyone to do the same.

I play in a pub band, and we can no longer perform in Glasgow city centre because our (not particularly old) van falls foul of LEZ restrictions. So we either don’t gig, or we gig and pay the fine. And I’m sure we’re not the only band in this situation. As if live music wasn’t already in a bad state. Scotland is definitely going to the dogs, and there’s apparently nothing we can do about it. 🤬

Glasgow wasn’t always “ a slum “. Famous architecture , Macintosh and Thomson , great museums and art galleries, green spaces , great shopping. Like most cities it has suffered badly from maladministration and lack of investment . It’s a tragedy.
