I'm coming to you from the Netherlands so excuse my Dutchy English. I enjoy all the inspiration in the worldwide knitting community so much. I would love to share my 'handwerk perikelen' (also known as crafty adventures) with you.

Lovely podcast yet again Sarah I have knit since maybe 8 years of age and now in my 70s and really enjoying new techniques in my later life. Ravelry and KZread have changed my knitting which has enlightening my knowledge thank you ❤
I enjoyed the music while watching you make the cactus plant for your favorite cup. I enjoy the weekday videos, thanks for making time in your busy life to spend time with us. Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area .
Just watching this now and enjoying it. Your washing is drying in a "clothes airer". Historically we called it a clothes maiden!
Education writer, Stephen Brookfield, called that discomfort with learning ‘roadrunner moments.’ When you learn something new, you have to leave the firm ground of what you know behind and take a step out over the void. Like Wile E. Cayote when he chases the Roadrunner out over the edge of a canyon!
I have never heard of ladder back jacquard knitting, so thank you for introducing it. I’m quite new to stranded colourwork and find that I pull the strands a bit too tight, but I’m sure practice will make perfect or if not perfect it will make better! Thanks for another lovely episode ❤
J like you, your work, ideas. But now J like you more. Sara your mug from Poland is my favourire. I am from Poland and I love Boleslawiec( town) ceramics . J wish you nice week❤❤❤
I love the cactus soil. I might have to make one for myself ❤🌵🪴
Another ‘heart jumping’ podcast - thank you ❤ I live in the North West of England and it is common for us to call our clothes airer ‘a clothes maiden’ - not sure why but it is definitely of northern English origin! Xx
I too was intimidated by the ladder back jacquard til I challenged myself to try it on the Misurina tee. I was so impressed with how easy for one and how pretty the wrong side of the knitting looked.
Another heart-jumping video! I had you in my mind this weekend when I was trying to make a “pod” designed by Heidi & Lana. She suggested double pointed needles but I couldn’t make it work with those fiddely things so I decided to do magic loop and it’s worked perfectly. That was a brave move for me. I love your cactus and I’m going to try my own. Thank you for your inspiration ❤
I love all of the plants in the opening! They are beautiful. I would never, ever have thought I would want to have crocheted plants in my life, but here we are! I must have cacti! I will start with the soil and then find a way. I haven’t crocheted since I was a child with my grandmother and had zero desire to do it again until now. Please show more whenever you can! ❤ I am “ hooked” pun intended.
Great idea for repurposing a favorite coffee mug :)
So lovely to see your pod at today Sarah. You have got me into crocheting plants ❤ so much fun ❤❤❤
Weer een fijn filmpje! En ik ben zo benieuwd naar je sokken en wat het gaat worden! 🎉 @Itisasarah
Lovely to watch, so fun. thank you❤
I am enjoying your posts, I am busy sewing and knitting at the moment
Very professional presentation always interesting to view (Ruth Howard)
I' ve been somewhat the same way as you when it comes to ladderback jacquard -- I keep saying I'll learn it, but I haven't so far! lol! I really want to though. I keep telling myself to remember to save my yarn ends so I can use them for stuffing. My problem is I save them, and then I forget where I put them! Then I give up. :D Never made a cactus. I don't know if I ever will....
💚🧶💚
Hi Sarah, I thought I was helping you find another cup similar to your broken cup when I posted a link to eBay, but it has been deleted and I’m not sure why. I apologize if was out of place, again, I was just trying to help.
