Akatsuki means blood moon in this context. We call those 2 dancers "Muscle Metal" for a reason. They usually do live action fighting movies in Japan but in between movies they will dance for BabyMetal sometimes. BabyMetal shows are just unreal..

Nice reaction! You picked a great song to start with, Akatsuki was recently voted as the best BABYMETAL song in a poll on Metal Hammer. BABYMETAL is nothing short of amazing. This performance was spectacular, but there are even more jaw-dropping ones to discover, not to mention their large catalogue of great and diverse songs. Oh and don't worry about the subtitles, like Su-metal (the main singer) once said "Don't think, feel".

I can say every single word of Akatuki along with SU-METAL singing, even if I don't know japanese at all.

I was suffering from the loss of my 18 year-old dog for half a year when I accidentally found BABYMETAL. Their song Akatsuki saved me from my pet loss. After that all BABYMETAL songs have never failed to keep me positive and happy.

This is my favourite song of all time. Su never fails to make may eyes tear up and my spine tingle. She's AMAZING.

If you’ve never seen Queen Su before you’re in for a treat. She’s an incredible vocalist with an even more powerful stage presence. Normally she shares the stage with her cohorts Moametal and Momometal (and previously Yuimetal before she retired in 2018), but for this song and a couple of others, she flies solo.

The tour will start on April 14 with UK leg at 4 venues in Leeds, London, Cardiff and Glasgow. BABYMETAL call UK as their "second home". You will understand why sooner or later, because you are receiving tons of information about BM from many fans in various countries. Their activities have been worldwide since 2014.

Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Foxhole.🦊They are like no other band you will have seen - and yes they always put on a show. The big arena shows in Japan, like this one, are spectacular, but even at festivals with a bare stage or in the smaller venues (1500 to 8 or 9000 capacity) they play as they tour the world they still put on a great show and never give less than 100% for every song.

If crowd participation is what you are looking for, you have come to the right band. The crowd can be considered an additional member in BABYMETAL. Usually they play a bigger role than they do here, because this is one of a few Su solo songs, while for most songs they have two additional members on stage for backing vocals, dancing and getting the crowd involved.
