I loved the " I didn't want to be a statistic" comment. I got COVID one time. I don't remember exactly when but I think could have been in 2022. I like you took a very conservative approach. Besides respecting the medical advice that was coming out we also had my 92 year old mother-in-law who lived in assisted living and my wife was her transportation to regular doctor appointments and did not want to do anything to impact my already high risk mother-in-law. She passed away in late 2021 but not COVID related. My case was not to bad. I just remember feeling "spacey" for several days. Very much a brain fog.
