Personally, I’d put a trapeze net type thing just inside that upstairs door. The net could be a safety device in case someone opens the door, AND it would let you take advantage of the vertical height that room has to create a second activity zone. I just picture the net feeling like a giant hammock and be the most amazing place for blanket forts and sleepovers sand quiet reading time
