IT Cosmetics I’m literally sitting here in my pajamas and all I have on my face is a little bit of the bye bye breakout concealer and half a pump maybe one full pump of the original cc cream and it literally looks like I don’t have anything on my face but my skin looks like it’s just having a great day

@@suecastillo4056 Hi Sue, I've only recently joined the "50's" age group & Now more than ever I'm paying more attention to skin care as well as exactly What I'm putting onto my face for Makeup, Foundation mainly. I've recently started subscribing to monthly beauty box subscriptions which as Really opened my eyes to Many, much better, Quality products. I want to say thank you for the comments you made here as I have been going back & forth on ordering this product. I hope you can answer jst 2 questions to help me. First, do you prefer the illuminating or the original? As I've gotten older I hear it's important to use a product that gives a youthful Glow. After watching this video it seems the original is definitely the better. Obviously this beautiful lady in the video is much younger than I so what works better for her may not be the case with us as more mature skinned Beautiful ladies : ) May I ask you which of these You preferred? Original or Illuminating? I also wanted to ask if you see any transfer onto clothing? I'm just a normal gal living out in the country, Trying to treat my skin better & look great in the process. I've been in such a deep depression, just lost my dad a couple months ago & I didn't care abt even getting up out of bed. I'm vry lonely & need to get back to life again. I use the It CC your skin but better, everyday. I work 12 hour shifts and outdoors at night and my makeup really gets a workout. In the winter when my skin is drier, I use a pump of the regular CC cream mixed with a 1/2 pump of the illuminated CC cream. It wears beautifully all night long (7pm -7am). Now that it is summer, I wear the regular CC cream on it's own. My makeup looks flawless in the morning after working outside all night long. I have sensitive skin, and this foundation does not irritate my skin, it only improves the condition of my skin. I'll never use anything else.

I tried mixing them this week as it's getting cold and dry here, but I found the Illumination CC+ to be GLITTERY and it looked and felt greasy on my skin even with a mattifying primer. :(

Mixing in winter is such a great idea!

I watched Jamie the first time that she was on QVC and bought the CC cream. That was years ago. I never leave home without it. Thanks for the video. You are beautiful.

I have used this foundation for the last 5 years. I am 52 years old. LOVE IT!!! I mix the 2 formulas sometimes,but for the most part i use the Original formula. besides the IT pressed powder or loose powder, I use Remmel's new matte loose powder or Remmel matte pressed powder only where im oily. Good drug store powders.

I’m glad to have found that you’ve done a review on this one. I always stayed away from it since I opt for sheer/light formulas. My sis purchased the original and found the fairest shade too dark on her, so she gifted it to me:) I’m just as fair as her but use shade adjuster drops. I also sheer it out a bit with foundation so it’s not too much coverage for me. Thanks, love🍃🌸

I've been using IT Cosmetics CC cream for at least 3 yrs now. I buy the reg CC Cream and I Love it. I like how it makes my skin look and feel. I also use there concealer for under my eyes. I have had great results and many compliments on my skin. I'm 51, so that makes me feel good. This is by far my favorite foundation, and its good for your skin.

Just now saw this video. I love IT cosmetics! I'm 67 years old with dry skin, and I love the Illumination foundation...I have tried other foundations but always go back to IT. I have been using it for approximately four years now. I think it is the best foundation on the market! It makes my skin look flawless & is so reasonably priced! I have never used the setting powder. Thanks for explaining the difference in the two!

I enjoy my IT CC foundation/cream. I wear the original & now I also use the new Bye Bye Pores cream foundation. It's a little more coverage than the CC. I switch them out, depending on what I need. Thank you for this video.

Thanks for the review! I just discovered my beloved CC cream by Aveeno has been discontinued, & I loved that stuff! It made my skin look & feel amazing, & I had many compliments about how nice my skin looked. I have combination skin, some wrinkles & age spots (in my early 40's), & SPF is super important to me. I also have very sensitive skin. I'm hoping the regular stuff will wow me. I just can't imagine finding something (affordable) I love as much as the Aveeno, but here's hoping!

I know recently on your face foundations you did with your mum Gemma, you mentioned the Illuminating IT CC+CREAM 50spf Your Skin But Better. I know originally here you chose the more matte one. I had gotten the matte one along with the undereye concealer & it has performed nicely so long as my face is properly hydrated & I need a primer with that one. But I did purchase recently on my Ulta birthday shopping super fun day the Illuminating in the CC & Undereye while I was skipping around like a mad grownup. Lol 😁 They even had a special where they came with their own brushes for each product! Yay me, though I'm not into the one for foundation. I'll give that brush to one of my nieces or sister as it usually retails separately. Must still get you that pic of all my swag. Managed to use my $200US gift card & a little extra of my own on everything. Needless to say I won't go shopping anytime in the very near future unless it is something like the NipFab contour palette I've been stalking on their web page to restock. But even buying that tonight I'm truly now done for a bit. My little Lexie dog needs her teeth professionally clean by her vet. I'll use the new IT Illuminating this week & think I'll like it with the warmer months coming & my skin changing from being more oily/hydrated naturally to drier in my aging body thus needing more dewy formulas along with dewy setting sprays. That's ontop of my skincare that hydrates very well.🤗❤✌😉🌈🤔🌞🌞xx

I worn IT foundation for 3 years now. I'm 56 and use Jamie's (IT) skincare as well. I love the entire line. Can honestly say it has minimized my lines and my number 11 on my forehead is basically gone Bye, Bye! Yeah!

I've just purchased a number of IT products after trying a sample of their Bye Bye Undereye. So far I LOVE every single product. Just started using the CC full coverage cream, also from a sample, and I really like it. I also got on their website and bought a kit on sale for less than $50 that had two full sized product in it! I've tried every single travel size in the kit and love all of it.

I tried the original cc today for the first time, and I agree that it is just beautiful. I am quite sensitive with fragrance however the lemon scent faded quickly. It really does smell like lemon meringue. Such a beautiful cc cream. Thankyou for this review.

For some reason. I had to go down a shade I have always been a straight medium beige. Yet the White tube. Of the no foundation. The med was way too dark. So I started placing my orders for Light or Light med.. I don't like the smell however the scent goes away in just a little, bit. Thanks for sharing.

Been using It for years..great coverage..and the tube last almost a full year and i use it daily!

It's Cosmetics has wonderful eyeshadow the mascara is out of this world I love I love their eyebrow pencils blush lipstick lip liners everything I have never got her item that I did not like and it does not take a lot of makeup to cover your whole face not a lot just a couple little drops

I recently tried this CC cream and I love it! It has a great coverage and makes my skin super smooth. It also has a perfect undertone for my skin tone (I use the lightest shade Fair Ivory), it just works so well with my skin! :) 💕 I’m so glad I decided to finally try it.

I love the IT CC Cream. I don't wear powder with it and it stayed all day and night. I thought you looked great!

The CC cream never worked for me, too heavy for my mature, dry skin, but their new Bye Bye Foundation, is perfect! Same type of tube and delivery, just a more moisturizing formula. They call it a Full Coverage Moisturizer, Hydrating & Anti-Aging but on me it is a medium coverage, which is all I want anyway! If any of your subs find the original too thick and heavy, they might like this.

There is a newer IT foundation in an oval shaped bottle now also Fiona Frazer you may like. Nice color choices. I have maturing starting to dry skin as well so I use a primer overtop my skincare, apply IT foundation &use a dewy setting spray. The Anastasia of Beverly Hills spray is nice or if you want to save monies, the e.l.f. dewy setting spray which smells like coconut is great too. I like both sprays. Great idea to mix the two kinds of CC creams! I'm going to try that! 🤗❤✌xx

I have never used foundation in my life, till last month. I have very dry skin living in Florida, an recently bought the Bye Bye foundation in Med Tan. Absolutely love this product, stays on for hrs, moisturizers my skin and doesn't drip off in our 90 degree weather. I bought mine at Ulta.

I use the Bye Bye Foundation and love it. I decided to try the CC cream because it's easier to find, but it broke me out within a few days. I have dry, sensitive skin (age 38).

This is actually the first foundation?? I wore and I was SHOOKETH. I got a shade a tad bit paler than my skin but nothing bronzer couldn’t really help. I just wish they’d make some darker shades so some of my darker sisters could have a chance to wear this nice foundation

The 'standard' formula is my go-to. I've tried all permutations, including the 'matte' version which I really don't like. The illumination is 'hot flashy' on me, and I have to set with powder. When I need bulletproof makeup I'll set my CC+ with my Bare Minerals powder foundation.

Love, love love the cc foundation. Ill be doing tutorials very soon so keep watching this stuff is amszing

I fall in and out of love with both these foundations.... the reason being is that they both transfer and don’t last on my 63 year old combination skin. What I really like is the IT Cosmetics Celebration Illuminating powder foundation. It’s amazing. It doesn’t look dry or cakey and really lasts all day... I rarely do any touch ups. You should try it and do a review! Unfortunately you can only purchase from their website or QVC... but with the latter at least you can return it if you don’t get on with it. The colours are a pretty good match to the CC foundation. I sometimes use it to set my CC+ if I need a bit more coverage rather than load on more of the cream foundation.

I have both of these and also love the original the best , I think the illuminating has noticeable glittery bits which I'm not keen on.I also love the IT concealor which on a lazy day is enough to cover my red areas , have you tried that? I rate the IT CC cream on a par with the Chanel CC cream but the IT is a better colour match for me. Great review thanks.

Thanks for this ! I’ll have to try the regular because I hated the illuminate one. I’m 41. It fell into every single tiny line. But also, it’s my first go at a full coverage. I’m usually a tinted moisturizer gal as the only thing I’m bothered by are my under eye circles. Just found your channel and I’m loving.

Hi Marie. Try using the product really sparingly, a little goes a very long way. You might find that it doesn't sink into those fine lines if you apply a tiny bit less. Also try setting it in place and see whether that helps at all. xxxx

I've used the IT CC+ cream (original) for 5 years now. I was 27 or 28 when I started it and within 2 weeks, the acne I had struggled with as a teenager was gone. This is my go-to when I feel like wearing makeup at all. It isn't too heavy, looks very natural, boosts my complexion, wears down evenly throughout the day so it looks fresh/healthy all day, it hydrates my skin, and smells wonderful (very lemony as you said). My only complaint is I am between the Fair and Light shades, so I have to buy two colors a mix them. I ran out of Fair this week and decided to try out the Illumination CC+. I hated it. I found it to be greasy and glittery and it didn't last long on my skin.

i put 1 pump cc and a very small amt of my moisturizer and mix on my hand..makes a nice light feel to the make up..i do not have pore problem only some lt brn spots..

I love both of these so much!!! I also use their Bye Bye Foundation and love it. I tend to use the latter more in cold weather as it's super moisturizing. Would you believe I only started using foundation a few years ago? I thought it would clog my pores. My skin is nicer than it was a decade ago!!!

Tried IT! Cc+ hydrating formula For the first time because of this. I wish they had more options for fair skin!! I love the cc+ line but I have to fake it down to my neck till I make it with the lightest shade unfortunately. Also I love the poreless cc+ in the blue tube!

I've been using it's Cosmetics for a long time my face looks so much younger than it did years ago when I started using this and I'm almost 70 years old and I can pass for a woman round 50 our last I have been told I look 20 years younger love their blush mascara eyeshadow I love it all and their makeup remover is fantastic

Thank you dear for your thoughts. My cousin sent me the luminated version of the CC cream and I have to say I really don't like it. I've never used heavy foundations and I feel like this not only looks like I'm wearing foundation but it feels like I'm wearing tons of makeup. I'm glad you find this so good, I'm just not into it. BTW I'm 65 and have feather lines on my upper lip and the product accentuates them.

So glad I found this video because I've been using these foundations during winter but now that is summer I might go up to medium tan. Now, my question to you is about how you feel with the color of the foundation? I am medium to olive skin and I use the same tone your using in this video. Loved your review and video!

The shade was slightly too dark on me I thought, but I bought it just before we travelled to Madrid, so I knew my skin tone would get darker....which it has, and it's now the perfect shade. I do know that medium is their most popular shade. xxx

I'm in Canada, but I've bought IT cosmetics for my granddaughter since she began wearing makeup! It's the ONLY makeup she's ever worn, and her skin is just beautiful!.....she's never had the typical teenager break outs EVER!.....I think she has everything they make. She didn't like the illumination foundation I bought her last Christmas, but my daughter, nearly 40 yrs old, LOVED it!.....I can't say enough about IT products. When I do wear makeup, I have my own IT products. It's so popular here, they now sell IT in cosmetic stores! I do love how this company makes regular and waterproof versions also. If you wash your brushes regularly, you won't get break outs, or bad applications. IT makes 'Brush Love' you spray a couple pumps on brush, then swipe on paper towels.....no drying time, they're clean, bacteria free, and ready to use!

I just bought my 1st CC Cream, and it was this one. I got the mini trial size. And I will be doing a video on it tomorrow on my other channel that is specifically for make up. I have seen this go around and finally I decided to buy a trial size. It’s like they knew I was coming because they had literally one trial size left. It is 12 mL for you and in the US it is 0.40 fluid ounces. I think I have that right. If I like it I am definitely buying the full size. I am 22 and my mother says start now on wearing age defying stuff and always wear sunscreen no matter what time of year it is.Also I just subscribed and also my mother is from Scotland, I know your English, but it’s pretty cool that you guys are from the same continent. I would love to visit over there one day.

I've just received the illuminated one and yet to try but the 'sparkles' comment has my heart in my mouth as I didn't buy this one from QVC so stuck with it! Thanks for great review, now subscribed.

Hi I want to compliment you very much😘👌 that you are talking about the importance of skin protection Spf 50+!so many women,girl,Yt ,and experts are just interested in makeup💄..but then shows makeup young girl, and has terrible skin, and skincate zero!!🙈me will be 50, I have beautiful skin, yes we have great genes in family😉 but I use 50 + protection from puberty and I don’t have pigment spots,I have wrinkles minimally and only from laughter🌝 I basically buy everything with Spf: foundation, BB ;CC cream,day face creams ... very nice video, I was deciding whether to buy this CC+cream and yes, thank you!👌👌👌😘❤🇬🇧

To all, just to clarify, there are NO sparkles or glitter in the Illumination Formula. It’s really more of a gleam, illuminizer, glow, dewey finish, maybe even a sheen to some people. I feel it gives my 53 yr old face (dry skin) a beautiful glow, a lit from within look, and younger brighter finish. I barely add a touch of warmth with a very light bronzer & immediately it tones down the glow if I need to. If it’s still too luminizing for you, I also mix 1/2 a pump of each if I desire on some days. Remember I have mature & dry skin, so the more matte you go the more those dry fine lines are going to show. I’ve been using this for years now, my skin had never looked better

I completely disagree. When I wear the illuminating formula on its own and the sun shines on my face, it looks like my face has been dusted by Tinkerbell. I’m not saying it’s not beautiful, but there’s definitely glitter particles in it. Xxx
