i'm a little tardy to the party but i wanted to share that astroneer wasn't shown. that game is also very relaxing and it would be interesting to see what you may think of it as you try to figure out the mysteries of the cosmos.

Great to see you here! A bit for the suggestion box since I saw footage of Skyrim and you mentioned desire for a challenge: I'd recommend Enderal. It's a total conversion mod of Skyrim, but saying that is an oversimplification to the highest degree. It's a standalone game in a different universe with incredible voice acting, a breathtaking OST, engaging gameplay mechanics, and a roller coaster of a story that puts Skyrim to shame. If I could erase my memory to re-experience one game for the first time, it would be Enderal.
