Hi Steve, Thanks for the comments. The video does show caged chickens at around the 4:20 mark, but of course there is barn and free-range production systems also. We currently have some research looking to produce female chicks only, so the industry can avoid the discarding of male chicks. Kind Regards, Poultry CRC.

Make me happy to see that you actually do read the comments but makes me sad how the farmers don't treat male roosters the respect they deserve just like females , I mean why disrespect them if they are the reason why chickens haven't gone extinct (if you don't get it , they are technically repopulating the chickens population)

It is an amazing farm. Beautifully managed, applying Science & Technolgy to manage, feeds millions with good quality. What can be done more!! Simple work but great service.

Great video, very well made and produced, kids are really cute too!

God I love chickens. I love chickens soo goddamn much. I want to own a chicken but I live in a cramped apartment and I can't do it legally. I decorated a tissue box with a chicken face so I could pretend I own one, but every day I wake up crying because of the fact that the Australian government has forbidden me from owning a chicken. I've been saving up money to move to somewhere that allows chickens like norway or something so I could finally achieve my life goal. My parents came by my room last night, and confronted me about the lack of motivation in my life, but I explained to them for the 1 millionth' time that I would be able to continue my political science degree if I was able to own a chicken. they left the room crying and I punched a hole in the wall out of frustration. I've been buying eggs in bulk and cracking them in the bath so I can be with my kind. My roommate joked about tarring and feathering me to make me "normal". I lit his bed on fire. Please, if you read this, send me a chicken. I don't care about the laws, I just want a chicken. I live at 10 Beaconsfield Road. Send me a chicken, or a fertile egg, I've got the incubation set up. I will pay full price. If you cannot, please refer me to a no questions asked poultry delivery service. Please, I've been suffering for so long. Just give me a chicken.

Hello! I have to say this its a really good video, some parts of it! But as the other have noted , there is not mutch to explain in the cage, in a video like this, its inportent to show that stuff to. Even if I rather not see the chick's in cages, I have my chick's free and never go to the store to gets some cage eggs, but I can understand these people who gets mad over the videos, but its really hard to run a big egg farm and earning money, because we eat alot of eggs like you said in the beginning. I like your videos :) good but show everything and explain everything then it will me good :) Hope you understand my bad English Best regards Lina S from Sweden :)
