hello good day, I'm a volkswagen mechanic, I have the same engine in my car, I'm thinking of turboing, but it melts the original pistons, I would appreciate if you could let me know which pistons you used and which turbo you used.

Also, what transmission did you use for your Jeep? Did you have to make/find an adapter for it? I'm doing same swap on my 1957 CJ3B.

Scott Z The transmission fitted here was the original transmission mated to the engine from when it was taken from the isuzu I-mark. I dont have any information about the name or gearing of the transmission.

Hi. Can you provide more information about what extra changes must be made after turbo installation? In fuel injection pump, in injectors, etc. ?

Hi sorry for the very late reply, saw my new vid about the jeep? I posted all the mods there of what I changed. Injection pump, new turbo, new charge pipe and intercooler routing, new 2.5 inch exhaust.

Is your Jeep still four wheel drive or two wheel drive??

Hey mate, notice you've got what I'm guessing is a tacho sensor in your timing cover. Did you put a magnet on your cam gear? Cheers

Yes I did! Since the cam spins twice slower than the crank, I placed 2 magnets on the cam gear. There is a plate on the cam gear that prevents the belt from falling off. That is where I mounted the magnets and I added a bit of epoxy for safety measure.

I just modified the stock NA manifold to have a pipe directed upwards with a turbo flange welded on it to make it a top mount

What part did you use to attach the turbo to the exhaust manifold??

I just welded up some pipe that attaches to the stock manifold and made a flange to mount the turbo on it. This was an older design, the new one has a different lay out for turbo and intercooler. check out the newer vids

Bryan Paul I made an adapter that connects to the exhaust going to the turbo using 2 inch steel piping. Just welded that all up and then made a flange that that turbo will secure on to.

@@MillersMotors nice! I have an extra gt35 that ill be using with my current gt17 for a compound setup on the works. Im having cylinder head sealing issues. Currently at 30psi and pulling real hard with a custom 12mm rotor head pump. Head and block o-ring with studs might seal everything better

Mas malaking piston to cylinder wall clearance, larger rotor sa injection pump 9mm nakalagay ngayon Non turbo version yung 4fb1 ko pareho lang build sa turbo and non turbo. Oil pan lang kailangan ng oil return to pan from turbo. Basta good cooling ng radiator mo okay ka. Malaki dagdag na heat yung added fuel at turbo

Scott Z The turbo I used is a Garret GT-1749S turbo from a Hyundai starex 2.5 engine

mack boi Yung dash hand made bro nasa oner na yan since nakuha ko, ni-refurbish ko lang sirang sira na dati. Minasilya at pininturahan ko ulit yung wood, pinalitan ko yung mga ibang wood panels sa dash dahil sira na yung ibang panels. Nagwiring ako sa lahat ng gauges, lights at switches sa dash. Yung interior, pininturahan ko yung buong floor ng primer gray, yung thick na pang flooring. Tas yung seats, nuong nakuha ko butas butas yung sa baba so pinalitan ko nalang ng leather. All in all siguro umabot ng mga 5k, lahat sariling labor lang.

So your Jeep is only 2 wheel drive?

Scott Z Yes it is only 2 wheel drive. I have another vehicle that i use to 4 wheel around It is an international scout II so i dont have a plan on making this jeep into a 4 wheeler. It is quite a trend here to have lowered 2wd jeeps, that is why this one is like that.

@@socialtrendingcollectionsp3023 hindi ko na alam presyohan ngayon. Matagal ko na stock yang extra turbo nuon. Bumili nalang ako rebuild kit nasa 5k.

go change those hose dont use garden hose there are some hose for vehicle which can provide better performance
