Korean ver is best

Finally! I've been looking for this song since forever. I never knew the name until now! ^_^ Thanks so much. The korean title says Uhl mah nah jo ul gga. meaning "How nice this would be" or something like that.

NO. people. The best translation for "얼마나 좋을까" is "how nice(/great/wonderful/good) would it be" as in how something like "how nice would it be if he like me" or how nice would it be if the two of us held hands and walked together". XD

i think this is better than in japanese..which is suprising becuz everything sounds good in japanese.

I played FFX in Korean. Man this brings back memories

I played the Korean version of FFX, as I was in Korea at the time. When I came to this part of the game and this song started playing, I actually cried. I was playing in a "Playstation Bang" (PS cafe), so was kind of embarrassing.

I would translate 素敵だね? (Suteki da ne?) as "isn't it wonderful?," 素敵 (suteki) can be read as cute/wonderful/beautiful/etc., but more fitting to the context is wonderful in my opinion. Adding だね? to the sentence makes it a question phrased with a certain bias, similar to adding a ",right?" or "isn't it...?" to a sentence in english. It is pleasing that Lee Soo Young sang this song, Rikki tarnished a perfectly pretty song with her kiddish voice. LSY restored this song's honesty to me.

Mm.. the meaning is similar though. The Korean can also mean 'how good would it be?'. Asian languages can be phrased in so many different ways. ^^ Thank you for the clarification though. And as for your comment about Lee Soo Young, I completely agree.

The original Japanese one is 'Suteki Da Ne'. In Korean, it's 'Uhl Mah Nah Joh Eul Kkah'. I think both mean 'how good it would be' or something close to it. At least, that's what it means in Korean.

@ohayboy1 Although I Su Yeong is great and I believe she was an excellent if not the best choice for the Korean version, the original singer, RIKKI, was picked for her vocal style and that was the voice Uematsu wanted. But again, this version is great as well, and is still effective while having her own distinctive touch.
