And in the exams fight between naruto and neji, neji got beaten cause he fell for a shadow clone. the Byakugan cannot see through a shadow clone, only Madara's Rinnegan could've seen through the Shadow Clone. Remember when Naruto fought Neji back then?? Isshiki's vendetta against sasuke is that with his rinnegan, Sasuke is the only one that can teleport to other dimensions using transportation ninjutsu. That means as long as sasukes alive, naruto can escape and keep the heat on isshiki.

I think it was partly business and partly because he was the only person there who could REALLY annoy him. Naruto was just throwing hands because he could absorb all chakra based attacks, Sasuke had the hax. That's also why Borushiki capitalized on the moment to get rid of it. Because in this first fight, after Sasuke literally stabbed his absorption hand with a kunai and shocked him with the chidori (of which he swapped the places of both), he wanted payback.

The way Isshiki pinball’d Sasuke mid air just to spin kick him back to the ground was so extra XD

When you think about Jigen was very non-confrontational. He came to Naruto’s house for Kawaki, but didn’t actually try to fight him. I’d argue he was the most chill Naruto villain in fact. He tried numerous times to take Kawaki, and leave only fighting back when people attacked him. I can’t really defend him other than that because when Kawaki was growing up Jigen tormented him to make him a better fighter forcing his rapid growth in strength. Kawaki killed that guy in his introduction, and he was one of the Kara Inners all of them in the promotional material are supposed to be Otsutsuki level. With that in mind Jigen’s training methods are very affective.

He had a lack a physical feats but his intelligence has been superb. Isshiki placed his demeanor and intelligence above his Sharingan. The ability that can track & predict movements. Perfectly copy jutsu just from seeing it once. And see on a molecular level. That's the greatest praise of intelligence in the franchise. It was arguable before but the Amado meeting made it definitive that he's smarter than Shikamaru. And even after being stabbed in the eye he immediately deduced Momo's actions and formed a plan using his own ability against him (akin to using Isshiki's shrinking & vision against him).

Actually, I'd say it's more than double that. I mean, Jigen wrecked Naruto and Sasuke harder than what the green ranger did to the power rangers in that scene (might have helped that there were more of them, and yes, the timestamp made me go watch that scene). Edit: Haven't matched MMPR, was born a little late to see it.
