That's the difference between this and other serials. In others, they give more importance to background props clothes and makeup. But don't pay attention to the creativity originality of the plot or acting. Only a few cynical people noticed how old the bedsheets or quilts are. Majority enjoyed the incomparable charm and super chemistry, overflowing love in the drama. In fact, i pity those cynics as they can't even fully enjoy this type of creative drama.

I like how this serial doesn't dwell much on traditional beliefs and conventional notions. Even though mehendi colour wasn't blackish red, it's evident he loves her deeply. At the wedding when he didn't show up before the Holy fire burnt-out, kushi was ready to leave yet still he came even after the fire doses off. It shows if one has the determination courage he or she can change lot of things in life. The show doesn't totally reject rituals and all that. Rather it keeps a very healthy balance between traditional beliefs and the determination to fight the fate in order to create better circumstances.

@@Sarah_0112 yes. I admire this balanced attitude. Love and relationships don't depend on rituals or laws, unless their hearts aren't involved or unless they don't have the determination to work out the relationship no matter what. I hate to see how the family members even Anjali made such a big issue on these rituals. As arnav said they are legally married. So they haven't committed any sin. Actually if it's in our country, he can take legal action on Daadi and Bua for trying to take his wife away from him. That's the first thing my mother told me when we registered my marriage, before doing the rituals on later day, that I no longer belong to my parents and they can't do anything if my husband wants to take me away from them.I don't know how it's in India. Maybe in India, rituals are more powerful than the law.
