@Super Cool firstly I am not against isro or something but currently thier main focus is cheapining the cost of space travel. Even if they purpose a mission it will take a lot of time to get accepted currently if you have to go to Mars you need a realllly really powerful rocket. And the heavy lift isn't enough both spaceX and nasa are putting thier heart and soul in the rockets(which is starship and sls) devoloping a rocket like that will come with tons of money and engineering. Even if India becomes a 5 trillion dollar economy it is the it is the government's wish to accept or not and considering the amount of time for something like this. India seems best to launch at 2045. Along with that India plans to make a space station(which is a good idea) but comes with a lot of money so you are asking the government tons of money into ISRO. thirdly unlike nasa isro has no human spaceflight experience, sure the gangam mission is going to be monumental but compare that to nasa which has over 60 years of human spaceflight, and lastly they are not focused for Mars unlike Nasa and spaceX firstly I putting thier heart and soul in the rockets(which is starship and sls) devoloping a rocket like that will come with tons of money and engineering. Lastly isro isn't focused on Mars unlike nasa or spaceX who has been in the process of making Artemis and starship. I think isro will go to Mars in 2045 (my opinion and my anyalsis you can have different one)

ISRO chief scientists should go out more like this and present their ideas and missions they are working on with their team in public. Also it's good to see a channel like yours on KZread, there are many in North America and Europe, we need to ignite scientific temper in next gen Indians. After reading a lot of gloomy news in papers and online, things like this gives us some hope for the better future that we have not only for a billion Indians, after all "service to India is service to humanity" - Pt Nehru.

They didn't launch it. It was tested successfully in the ground facilities. Test launch would be in near future.

Hope we get to see these missions take off (pun intended) in my lifetime. It is always so exciting and exhilarating to know about ISRO plans and missions. If ISRO is innovative enough, they probably don't need to keep their designs classified. Because by the time someone else copies it, ISRO should have moved to the next big thing It also helps other countries avoid failures. Like we know the US Space Shuttle faced big problems because of using Silica tiles as a heatshield. So it will be better if ISRO doesn't use Silica Tiles for RLV

Great work!! Your videos are very much needed specially in India. Why make a 10 tonne to LEO rocket now? This late Isro should really focus on making at least 20 tonne category otherwise when HLV will be operational it will already be outdated Would like to know your opinion on this. Can you please make a separate video on HLV. Also solids will exert more g force which is unsafe for humans. Isro is the only one using solids in manned missions. There is no future of indian human space flight using only GSLV like technology.ISRO need a better LV.

The problem with using Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) in human spaceflight is, if for any reason the flight is terminated, the parachutes would burn up from falling solid propellant, resulting in death of the crew

The good step was taken by allowing private companies in to the space sector. ISRO should only focus on the R&D not building the civilian satellites let the private sector do that work.

He said :- ' A meeting will be held at ISRO HQ on 21 Aug to decide whether the RLV landing test will be held on 2020 or 2021...' And we both at rocket nerds so as per I Thinks It will happen in Late December 2020...

2050 is the time given by isro then we can expect it around 2070. Reasons?? 1} ISRO has to learn the tech and research and develop it. Obviously it will take time. 2) they have to deal with Indian Govt funding and approval which will take a decade to decide. (Reduced from 2 decades to 1 decade after Modi sarkar) These are practical reasons which will hinder the time frame. But ultimately ISRO will achieve... Jai hind
