I said yes to her, and I seen Hebrew writing some were on her, she was from a Jewish background. Which I did help to connect her phone to airport WI FI. I am Muslim and Lebanese background. I am Moroccan Amazigh (Berber) and we know our history we all descend from one of the old Hebrew tribes. We had a jewish queen when islam came to us. She was known as prophet of sorts as she saw visions. She said Islam would be victorious and had her two sons convert to muslims. Before Judaism we were mostly pagans with "Roman" or " Greek" gods. I use that term loosely as most of greek mythology happened in Morocco even the petrified Giant Atlas is the Atlas mountainrange. Jason passed the Gibraltar strate. Our Amazigh flag symbol or letter is the trident of Poseidon or Neptune. The Hebrews came to Morocco with the Phenecians around 3500 years ago. We love all jews and see them all as our litteral brothers and sisters

I am an Israeli who lived abroad in a few different locations outside of Israel in the past decade. I studied, worked, and made friends with people from the Muslim and Arab world. Israelis abroad are not afraid of Westerners or Muslims, but a religious Jew who understands, should not walk around with a kippah or any Jewish symbol, because he knows that he may lose his life by a Muslim or an anti-Semite. D.A. No Jew would want to enter the village Or an Arab city in Israel because there is always a fear that a Muslim will do something bad to a Jew. But Arabs feel much safer in Jewish cities than in Arab cities because there they murder their neighbors almost every day. A few days ago 5 people were murdered, also children were murdered because of a conflict between crime families.

I once sat at a coffee shop in Amsterdam, and an Arab looking guy came up to me and asked if he can share the table with me, I smiled and said sure, we then started talking, and about 10-15 mins into the conversation I already got the sense that he's a cool guy, we were having a pleasant conversation, and then he told me that he's from Turkey, and asked me where I am from, and then there was this awkward silence for a few seconds, in my head I was thinking "If he turns on me after I tell him, there might be other guys who might join him from around the coffee shop, in that case, I have to run away as soon as it escalates" and the second thought was "He's a cool dude, he won't do that" , he saw I was hesitating, and then I told him "I am from Israel", and he said "It's all good, I look at the person and not where they're from", and then we kept on having a pleasant conversation, but I did feel like things might go bad if that person hated Israel too much and therefore start a fight regardless of me being cool with him.

Note: Jews in Turkey are not Mizrahi but instead Sephardi. This is why he brought up the Spanish language (Ladino). Turkey is also not an Arab nation, so he wouldn't have known Arabic given that it's not Arab. It's also not the best country to base in relation to the question due to Turkey's strong history with secularism. Aside from the last 20 years, Turkey’s been one of the most tolerant and open countries in the entire Islamic world, along with Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia (which I’d dare say is more religious), and Kazakhstan. Not an equivalent in societal view and state policy to Arab states or Iran by ANY means, and even that says a lot because Turkey still has a lot of work to do. However, it was of the first few Muslim-majority countries to recognize Israel in 1949 and there’s still ongoing relations and trade conducted in spite of the frenemy dynamic.

Yes arabs and israelis are kinda enemies etc but it really just wouldnt be normal for one to instantly get all worked up just because they _saw_ someone from the other side, unless something happened between then previously that would spark a 2nd confrontation. If i was israeli eating in a restaurant in the US and i see a few arabs come in and eat do I instantly get panic attacks and ask for the cheque to leave immediately? No. I just eat and mind my own business lol then leave like normal. I would only do something if _they_ confronted me about something.

I remember I was taking the subway train in NYC, and I saw a man who looked either Arabic or Persian, watching me with anger. I never met the guy. Never saw him before. But he was looking at me like he wanted to hurt me. Constantly staring at me. Then I noticed a man standing right next to him staring right at him sternly. Probably because he noticed the Arab guy staring at me negatively for no reason. So he apparently did it back to him. I don’t know who that other man was, but he must have been an angel from God watching over me. The only conclusion I could think of is, the Arab man must have realized I was Jewish, or he probably saw my face in a TikTok video where I was defending Jews and the state of Israel. The Arab man went from looking at me very negatively to being visibly concern of the man who was staring at him. I saw the fear in his eyes. 😂. The man next to him had to be a guardian angel from God. I typically don’t get worried when I see Arabs at all (it’s New York City after all. Lots of different people from around the world), but this situation was unique. I’m certain that God was there to protect me from that weird man.

We are a visibly, observant Jewish family. Once in America, a group of Lebanese Muslim university students began screaming at my wife & toddler son "Allah Akbar" again & again, though only from their high dorms instead of face to face. That was around 1985. Around 1992, we'd gone to Disney World & two Arabs saw us at a gas station. One began pointing at us excitedly & menacingly. He was scary, but his friend looked away, telling him "no," despite his repeated attempts. That felt dangerous. In America while studying in university, they apartment complex would place students together based on background, so they placed me with an Iranian (pre-Khomeni, so he was secular), a Pakistan Shi'ite (because Iran & Pakistan share a border) & later an Indian Christian. I saw that Pakistani Sunnis got a long with Pakistani Shi'ites & these got along with Indian Hindus & Christians BECAUSE in the Diaspora these groups had more in common with each other than with other groups. I saw, too, that there was a certain draw I felt towards Arabs in America (in the 1980s) because culturally we had a tremendous overlap more than with any other group. I always wondered, though, when everyone returned to their native country if they'd be able to maintain such relationships. One Pakistani married a Lebanese woman & she was NOT happy he had a Jewish friend. At the university I had friends from Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi, Oman. The Lebanese were most like Israeli Jews (except their Druze who were a little wacky), Egyptians were smart, but sometimes a little silly, yet nice. Saudis were quite conservative & seemed decent, though some of the other Arabs resented them for their wealth. Omanis were the coolest. They were so majestic, they were loving. I did a lot to help them & they genuinely appreciated that. Libyans were FUN & FUNNY! Jordanians felt scary. I also met some Yemenite Arabs, they were nice people, too, somewhat like Omanis, but more relaxed. Nostalgia Avenue.

As an Israeli myself yes I feel a little nervous. I don't hate Arabs or Muslims, and in fact in Israel I have Arab friends and I even talked to Palestinians from the occupied territories. I try my best to respect everyone. But because of how Israel behaves and because a large portion of the citizens here are anti Arab (even calling Hummus and Falafel Israeli food) then Arabs from other countries don't have any reason to be OK with me. So therefore I am nervous if I see them abroad. Not because I'm racist or hate them, which I don't. But If they respect me I respect them 'cause unlike my so-called country (and especially the right wing nuts) I don't look for a fight and I don't disrespect others. I just wish for peace in this region and for everyone. Only ignorant people (not because of a political opinion) will call hummus or Falafel an Israeli food, its origin is ancient Egypt (not even Arabs). Evidence from ancient Egypt indicates that the acidification of hummus grains was used as early as the fifth millennium BC. 4. Falafel, which is known to be a Middle Eastern dish (and Jews lived in this area by the way), is also said to have originated in Egypt. Falafel was apparently developed by the Copts as an alternative dish to a meat dish (non-Arabs too) 5. Stop justifying and giving reasons to Arabs why not be okay with you. 6. What kind of person would ask such a question? A person who thinks he is right and the rest of the world is evil. @@RudydeGroot “Put on the full armour of God, so you can take your stand against the Devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:11 I don’t consider that a hateful statement. That’s saying that there is a Devil who exists. The context of Galatians 1:7-8 is people who were purporting to be Christians who were teaching incorrect doctrine. Paul certainly believed Christianity is true, and like, Judaism and Islam, Christianity doesn’t offer a lot of leeway for other people also being correct.

What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead. I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Romans 7:7‭-‬25 ESV
